Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster
Chapter 637 - 636: Let’s Talk About You
Chapter 637: Chapter 636: Let’s Talk About You
South Grant always felt there was another meaning in that glance, but she couldn’t quite figure out what went wrong.
At dinner, at the table, Nathan Foster gave South Grant food several times, which Stella Foster noticed.
South Grant saw her mom’s strange look, and when Nathan Foster served her food again, she quietly said,
"Uncle, you eat. I can serve myself."
After dinner, Stella Foster called South Grant.
"South, you were sleeping during the day. I didn’t have time to ask you. Now that you are awake, I want to know about your brother and sister. Where are they now?"
Listening to Stella Foster’s inquiry, South Grant remembered her promise to Stella to take good care of her siblings.
Over the years, she couldn’t look after Seth well. He had been with Dr. Vance for the last two years, recovering quite well.
As for Fiona Grant, South Grant really didn’t know how to tell Stella Foster about her.
Mother had a hard life in the first half. Her entire childhood and youth were under Harold Foster’s control, and she went through so many ordeals. If South and Fiona’s hostility was told to Stella Foster, she would probably be even more worried.
"I’ll bring them over later," South Grant could only say this.
After asking these questions, Stella Foster shifted the topic with a serious face.
"Now, let’s talk about you."
"Me... what’s wrong with me?" South Grant felt a bit guilty and took a sip of the tea in front of her, assuming Stella Foster knew about her handling of Fiona Grant.
Stella Foster wanted to ask about Nathan Foster, but she didn’t know how to start the topic. In the end, she restrained herself.
"I heard from your uncle that you’ve had a tough time over the years."
When South Grant heard Stella Foster mention this, she smiled and said, "It’s not hard. All the hardship was for the sake of happiness. Now that I can bring you back, nothing else matters. Besides, my uncle has been helping me these past two years. He just feels sorry for me, that’s why he made it sound so serious."
Stella Foster noticed that when South Grant mentioned Nathan Foster, her eyes seemed to sparkle like stars.
Stella Foster, having been through it herself, understood everything.
South Grant also had feelings for Nathan Foster, and such natural affection was hard to conceal.
Stella Foster raised her hand to touch South Grant’s medium-length hair and sighed.
The whole day, she didn’t rest, thinking about a lot of things.
When South Grant was ten, she left her siblings, and now, this was the most critical time of her life.
No one was there to accompany and guide, living with The Grant Family. Thinking of these, Stella Foster felt especially guilty.
But there were some things for which she had to leave.
The look in Stella Foster’s eyes showed heartache for South Grant, but a smile appeared on her face, "Mom, I’m really okay. Didn’t you want to see Fiona and Seth? I’ll bring them over when it’s daylight."
"No rush."
Afterwards, the mother and daughter talked for a while, and South Grant saw that Stella Foster hadn’t rested since she returned, so she asked her to sleep.
After Stella Foster went to sleep, South Grant, unable to sleep, snuck out quietly.
Nathan Foster’s study was in a neighboring building, not here.
Stella Foster, seeing from the window that South Grant went into Nathan Foster’s study, just sighed and said nothing more.
Nathan Foster was still awake. Seeing South Grant come in, he closed his computer and asked,
