Vishnu looked towards the distant horizon of Vaikuntha.

"Devara has become considerably stronger. His training has given him the ability to handle situations that would have troubled him in the past. He has also learned to control his own energy and understand the workings of different forms of Maya."

"This journey will be another opportunity for him to apply what he has learned."

Lakshmi smiled slightly.

"You speak as though you are sending him for another examination."

Vishnu chuckled.

"Perhaps I am."

"Prabhu!"

"What? He is our son. If I keep resolving every difficulty he encounters, how will he learn to face them himself?"

Lakshmi shook her head with an affectionate smile.

"That is what you said when he was training with you on that barren island. And look at what happened. He nearly managed to strike you with your own Gada."

Vishnu laughed.

"That was a rather interesting day."

"Interesting? I remember hearing that the entire island shook."

"Well, he had improved considerably."

Lakshmi gave him a knowing look.

Vishnu’s smile softened as he continued watching the distant realms.

"Still, I will be observing his journey. We cannot interfere directly, but that does not mean we must remain unaware of what happens to him."

Lakshmi moved closer and rested her hand upon his.

"I know you are concerned, Narayana. He may have grown into a powerful warrior and a king, but he is still our son."

Vishnu looked at her.

"That is precisely why I am concerned, Devi."

For a brief moment, the two remained silent.

Then Lakshmi’s expression changed as another thought occurred to her.

"Wait, Prabhu. You said he is travelling to retrieve the bracelet for Alakshmi?"

"Yes."

"Then he will be entering a realm where the gods may not even know about his promise to her."

Vishnu smiled.

"That is something he will have to explain himself."

Lakshmi laughed softly.

"Knowing our son, I suspect he will somehow find himself involved in several matters beyond the bracelet."

Vishnu glanced at her.

"You are not wrong."

Both of them looked towards the distant cosmic boundaries.

Far away, in Trivenivrata, their son was preparing to cross into a territory where neither his father’s authority nor his mother’s influence could be freely exercised.

For Devara, it would be another journey into the unknown.

And for Vishnu and Lakshmi, it would be another occasion to watch their son venture into the wider universe, hoping that the lessons they had taught him would be enough to guide him through whatever awaited him.

Meanwhile, far away from Vaikuntha, atop the sacred Mount Kailash, Lord Shiva was seated in deep meditation.

The snow-covered peaks glistened beneath the celestial light, while the gentle breeze carried the fragrance of divine flowers through the surroundings.

Nandi remained near the entrance of the divine abode, and several Ganas went about their duties without disturbing their Lord.

After an extended period of meditation, Shiva slowly opened his eyes.

His gaze immediately shifted towards Goddess Parvati, who was seated nearby. She had been looking in his direction, but unlike her usual peaceful expression, there was a hint of concern upon her face.

Shiva understood the reason almost immediately.

"Devi," he called gently.

Parvati looked at him.

"You already know, don’t you?"

She lowered her eyes for a moment before nodding.

"Our son is preparing to travel to the Egyptian territories."

Shiva gave a slight nod.

"Yes. He intends to retrieve the Forty-Two Stars Bracelet for Alakshmi."

Parvati sighed.

"That child... Even after returning from a war and spending some time with his family, he has already found another reason to travel beyond his own realm."

A faint smile appeared on Shiva’s face.

"He made a promise. You know how Devara is. Once he gives his word, he will make every effort to fulfil it."

"I know, Mahadeva. That is precisely what concerns me."

She moved closer to him.

"He is travelling to another pantheon’s territory. We cannot simply follow him and intervene whenever he encounters difficulties. Even Vishnu cannot extend his influence freely into another divine territory without disturbing its boundaries."

Shiva nodded.

"That is correct. Every pantheon has its own domain and governing principles. Although the cosmic order connects all these realms, their sovereignty must be respected. An unnecessary intrusion by another pantheon could create consequences far greater than the original problem."

Parvati looked towards the distant horizon.

"Then what if he encounters danger?"

Shiva remained silent for a moment.

"Devara is not the same child who first began travelling through different worlds. He has trained under Vishnu, learned to control his Maya, and gained considerable understanding of divine weapons and cosmic energies. He has also faced situations where his strength alone was insufficient."

"Still, he is our son," Parvati replied.

Shiva looked at her and smiled faintly.

"I know, Devi."

Parvati gave him a displeased look.

"You say that so calmly. I remember how you reacted when he first travelled away from Kailash for an extended period."

Shiva chuckled.

"That was different."

"How?"

"He was younger."

"And now?"

"Now he is older, considerably stronger, and apparently determined to visit every corner of creation."

Parvati could not help smiling at his remark, although her concern remained.

Shiva then turned his gaze towards the vast cosmic expanse.

"Besides, there is something important about this journey."

Parvati looked at him curiously.

"What is it?"

"He is not travelling there to conquer, challenge, or demonstrate his strength. He is travelling because he made a promise to someone whom others have often neglected."

Parvati understood immediately.

"Alakshmi."

Shiva nodded.

"Our son saw someone who was treated as an unwanted presence, and instead of turning away, he offered to help her. That is not something we should discourage."

Parvati’s expression softened.

"I was happy when I heard about his promise to her. Even among the Devas, very few have shown her the consideration he did."

"Indeed."

Shiva leaned back slightly, his gaze returning to the distant realms.

"However, the Egyptian pantheon may have its own expectations concerning the bracelet. We do not know how its guardians will react to an outsider seeking such an artefact."

Parvati sighed again.

"Then I hope he remembers to speak before drawing his weapons."

Shiva laughed softly.

"That would certainly make things easier."

"Mahadeva!"

"What? I am only hoping for the same thing you are."

Parvati shook her head.

After a brief silence, she rested her hand upon Shiva’s.

"At least let us keep an eye on him."

Shiva gently held her hand.

"We shall observe his journey, Devi. But we must allow him to handle the matters that arise within that territory."

Parvati nodded reluctantly.

The two divine parents remained seated together, looking towards the distant cosmic boundaries.

Far away, Devara was making preparations for his journey, unaware that his movements had already attracted the attention of both Vaikuntha and Kailash.

And while his parents could not accompany him into another pantheon’s territory, neither of them intended to lose sight of their son.

Meanwhile, in Brahmaloka, the creator of the universe, Lord Brahma, was seated upon his celestial lotus, reviewing the various happenings across creation. Beside him sat Goddess Saraswati, who had been observing the movements of the different divine realms through her knowledge.

However, her attention was particularly focused on one individual.

Their son, Devara.

Saraswati turned towards her husband, who seemed to have already noticed her thoughts.

"Prabhu, is there really nothing we can do to help our son?"

Brahma slowly raised his gaze from the cosmic records before him.

"Saraswati, we have already discussed this."

"I know, but he is travelling into another pantheon’s territory. We cannot simply sit here knowing that we might not be able to help him if something happens."

Brahma smiled faintly at her concern.

"Devi, you know very well why we cannot interfere. Every pantheon has its own jurisdiction. If we directly extend our powers into another divine territory, we risk disturbing the balance maintained between those realms. Even a small intervention from us could create consequences that neither side intends."

Saraswati lowered her eyes.

"But he is our son."

"I know."

Brahma reached for her hand.

"Believe me, I have considered every possibility. Vishnu and Mahadeva are equally concerned about him. None of us wishes to see our son encounter difficulties without being able to assist him."

"Then what are we supposed to do?"

Brahma chuckled softly.

"The best thing we can do is allow him to proceed without our direct interference."

Saraswati looked at him suspiciously.

"You’re saying that as though you have already planned something."

Brahma smiled.

"Well, perhaps we have."

Her expression immediately changed.

"What do you mean?"

Brahma glanced towards the cosmic expanse, where several luminous representations of different realms floated.

"Vishnu, Mahadeva, and I have already discussed this matter. Although we cannot directly enter or exercise our authority within the Egyptian divine territories, there are certain arrangements that can be made without violating their boundaries."

Saraswati leaned closer.

"What arrangements?"

"Let us say that we have arranged a little internal assistance for our son."

"Internal assistance?"

Brahma nodded.

"Nothing that would interfere with the Egyptian pantheon’s authority. No direct manifestation of our divine powers, no forced alteration of events, and certainly no attempt to control their gods. It is simply a small arrangement that might prove useful should Devara encounter certain difficulties."

Saraswati considered his explanation.

"And Devara knows about this?"

Brahma shook his head.

"No."

"Then how will he make use of it?"

"That is something he will discover when the time comes."

Saraswati gave her husband a knowing look.

"Prabhu, you, Vishnu, and Mahadeva have clearly planned something together."

Brahma laughed.

"We are his parents, after all. Are we supposed to watch him wander into another pantheon’s territory without making even the smallest arrangements?"

Saraswati finally smiled.

"I suppose not."

Brahma looked towards the distant cosmic boundaries.

"Besides, Devara has always been rather resourceful. He managed to fool Vishnu during his training, survived numerous trials, and even found ways to resolve situations that initially appeared impossible. I believe he will manage this journey as well."

Saraswati rested her hand upon his.

"I hope so."

Brahma nodded.

"So do I, Devi."

For a moment, both remained silent.

Then Brahma’s expression became slightly amused.

"Although, knowing our son, I would not be surprised if his little journey to retrieve a bracelet somehow turns into an entirely different adventure."

Saraswati looked at him.

"Why would you say that?"

Brahma simply smiled.

"Have we ever known Devara to return from a journey without bringing back at least one unexpected story?"

Saraswati could not help laughing.

And somewhere within the three divine realms, an arrangement known only to Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva had already been put into place.

Their son would have to face the Egyptian pantheon on his own terms.

But that did not mean his parents had left everything to chance.
