Chapter 275: Home

The infusion was complete. The crimson core slowly disappeared, and there was no longer any Mana Core floating in the sky. Instead, there was only a phantom-like spirit remaining there. It wasn’t merely a projection. It was her true spirit, the existence that every Immortal Rank possessed.

The presence coming from that spirit was far stronger than the presence Ravena had possessed when she was still at Grandmaster Rank. For a moment, everything remained completely silent. Then the phantom spirit slowly opened its eyes. Ravena had successfully broken through to Immortal Rank.

She had finally stepped into Immortal Rank.

Then Ravena looked around at all the vessels of Asher surrounding her, and her spirit form suddenly started solidifying as she changed into a physical body, making a new one for herself.

This body was the same as her previous one; the only change was that the pressure she emanated was stronger.

Asher stared at Ravena for a moment, then said, "So now everything is over, right? You ready to leave now?" His tone was bored, as it had been for the last 3 hours; he couldn’t do anything but stay here and protect her.

Ravena looked towards the vessel that just spoke, and then she said, "Yeah, I am ready to leave now. I can adjust to my new strength while completing the rest of my journey to my home."

She had just broken through to Immortal rank, so she needed time and chance to use her new strength and get used to it, and she thought that moving toward the Demon Continent and fighting the beasts she would come across on her journey would be the best way to test her new strength.

Asher just nodded, and then all the other vessels that were around her, all of them vanished, and only the vessel that had spoken first was left.

Ravena looked at the only vessel that was now left, and then she thought inwardly, ’Even now I still can’t manipulate the blood inside his body; against him I really do seem like a mosquito. Just what is wrong with his body? Even after reaching Immortal rank, it is still the same.’

And while she was thinking all this, Asher was already in front of her.

And then he said, his tone flat, "Time to leave now, and don’t forget to do what I told you, okay?"

Ravena nodded and said, her tone slightly nervous, "I will, but the last decision would still not be mine, so don’t expect much."

Asher replied, his tone slightly amused, "Don’t worry about that; just do what I told you. I will take care of everything else."

Ravena stared at Asher’s vessel, thinking about what he was going to do to conceive a Saint to do what he wanted her to do, but then she didn’t think much about it, as there was no way to know what he was thinking.

Ravena then moved towards the direction of the Demon Continent and was just about to start travelling, but then suddenly Asher said, "No need to travel that much distance."

Ravena didn’t understand what she meant, and before she could ask what he meant, suddenly a space rift opened behind her, and then Asher pushed her into the rift without giving her any warning.

Ravena was pushed into the rift, and then the rift started closing, and the last thing that Ravena saw before the rift closed was Asher saying, "No need for thanks."

And then the next moment, she found himself in the same place where she had been when Asher helped her escape from the Church facility, though she actually felt like she was kidnapped instead of being helped in escaping.

And then another rift opened, and without any hesitation, she stepped through the rift. She found herself standing at the top of a mountain with black withered trees all over the mountain with no sign of a green tree in sight, and when she looked around, she found a giant flying beast looking at her with its big Then and then the beast opened its mouth and spoke and said; its voice felt inhuman since it wasn’t human in the first place, "Welcome home."

Ravena looked at the beast for a moment; she understood it was another one of Asher’s vessels, as she couldn’t manipulate its blood either, but that thing isn’t really absolute in finding every vessel of Asher, because he can change it whenever he wants.

Ravena stared at the giant flying beast for a moment, and then she asked, "For how long have you been here?"

The flying beast answered in its inhuman voice, which was very uncomfortable to hear, "Not much time; it’s been around a 1 week since I arrived here, and for all that time I have been just moving through this Continent."

’Around a week.’

Those words echoed through Ravena’s mind.

That meant he had been on this Continent for an entire week, and no one had even noticed his presence.

Ravena couldn’t help but wonder what he must have done during the last week he had spent here. What had he been doing while moving around the Continent without anyone realizing that he was there?

And before she could think any further, the beast opened its mouth again and said,

"I was planning to have a talk with both of the Saints myself, so I was finding every piece of information about the Continent where they were living while moving around stealthily. But since we are here now, you can talk with that Blood Saint yourself instead of me."

Ravena remained silent for a moment, listening to his words.

Then the beast’s gaze moved toward the other mountain peaks.

Everywhere they looked, the land was black and withered. There was almost no sign of life that could be considered peaceful or natural. Numerous demons were moving through the forest, constantly fighting and trying to devour one another like the brainless beasts they were.
