Her control was much better compared to before.

She had remained calm throughout the entire battle.

This was also the reason she had been able to defeat Ciaran so easily.

Ravena lowered the papers slightly and remained silent for a moment.

’Something has definitely changed. Something is wrong with me, but what could it be? Did that coward do something to me other than just marking me to watch over me?’

Ravena couldn’t help but think that because there was no other way to explain what was happening to her.

And then she tried to check her entire body.

She carefully searched through every part of her body, trying to find anything that might be different from before. She even destroyed her current body and created a new one, just to make sure that nothing had been changed or placed inside her.

But everything was still the same.

There was no change.

’Did he really do something to me? Or am I just being paranoid right now? If something really was wrong with me, Blood Saint should have noticed it, right?’

Ravena couldn’t help but feel that it was too strange.

After thinking for a while, she decided to call Blood Saint.

She called her a few times, and just a moment later, Blood Saint’s voice resounded in her mind.

’What happened that you have to disturb me? Is it something important?’

Ravena didn’t waste any time and immediately told Blood Saint everything she had been thinking about. She explained that she felt something might be wrong with her body and also told her about the strange calm state she had been experiencing ever since reaching the Immortal rank.

Blood Saint remained silent for a moment.

Then her voice resounded in Ravena’s mind again.

’I checked again. There is nothing wrong with your body. Everything is normal. And about you feeling calm, it is probably just because you have recently advanced to the Immortal rank. As we rank up, our instincts become weaker. When I ranked up, my instinct to devour also decreased and eventually became almost negligible, so you don’t need to worry about it.’

Ravena remained silent after hearing Blood Saint’s explanation.

She still felt that something was wrong.

But if a Saint was saying that there was nothing wrong with her, then there was nothing she could do to argue with it.

After all, Blood Saint was far stronger than her, and there was no reason for Ravena to believe that she had somehow noticed something that Blood Saint couldn’t.

So Ravena decided not to argue any further and simply returned to reading the papers.

However, there was still a small doubt in the back of her mind.

Ravena couldn’t explain why, but she had a strange feeling that Asher had definitely done something to her that even a Saint-rank being couldn’t discover.

Still, she didn’t think about it for too long.

There was nothing she could do about it anyway.

Maybe Blood Saint was right.

Maybe she was really just being paranoid.

Ravena sighed softly and lowered her eyes back toward the papers, continuing to read the reports about everything that had happened during the ten years she had been gone.

Even though the doubt was still there, she decided to ignore it for now.

And then Ravena focused on reading the papers so she could know what had really happened during the last decade while she was gone. As she started reading through the reports, her expression slowly turned serious. The losses were far greater than she had expected. After she had been

trapped, the losses during the last war had been enormous. Almost 50% of the Immortal-rank and Grandmaster-rank Demons had died during the conflict. Ravena’s expression became even more serious as she continued reading. At the moment, only 17 Immortal-rank experts remained among the entire Vampire race, including Ravena herself.

As for the other races, she didn’t have an exact idea about their current numbers, but judging from the reports, their losses were probably similar, or perhaps even worse. Ravena continued reading through the reports, trying to understand everything that had happened during the decade she had been away.

And then she reached the section about the losses among the Humans. Her expression suddenly changed. She looked surprised. "She died?" Ravena quickly read the information again to make sure she hadn’t misunderstood it. Then her expression suddenly changed into one of joy.

"That Witch really died! I can’t believe she actually died." For a moment, Ravena couldn’t help but feel happy after reading the news. She then continued reading, wanting to know exactly how that Witch had died. After reading the details, Ravena’s expression turned serious again. "As expected of that Witch. Taking three Immortals with her."

Even though she was dead, she had managed to take three Immortal-rank experts down with her. Ravena wasn’t surprised by that. After all, she knew exactly how troublesome that Witch could be.

But then her expression changed again, and a hint of amusement appeared on her face. "I wonderhow Edward would have felt at that time. Too bad I couldn’t see his expression." Ravena couldn’t help but regret that she hadn’t been there to witness it. Edward had been the reason she was trapped in the first place. He was the one who had defeated her 10 years ago and had ultimately caused her to become trapped on the Human Continent for an entire decade.

So when Ravena learned that Edward had lost his wife, she couldn’t help but feel a certain amount of joy. ’Serves him right.’ Ravena continued looking at the report with an

amused expression for a moment before returning to reading the rest of the information.

Meanwhile, on the island where Asher Vessels were staying.

Five vessels were present in a room; it was an empty room, and then one of the vessels summoned something from the subspace.

It was the body of the Empath demon from the facility that Asher took from there before escaping.
