When Zeke Walton heard this, he exclaimed, "Who would’ve thought? You graduated from the same university as Mr. Wynn! It must be fate. What year were you? Maybe you two even met back in school."

Faye Fisher wanted to slap herself.

’I got carried away with the conversation and forgot about that.’

’What good would it do me for them to know that I graduated from the same university as Wyatt Wynn?’

She deliberately said she was two years his junior, and Zeke Walton sounded a bit disappointed.

"So you’re his junior! No wonder Wynn doesn’t know you. If you’d been two years earlier and become his classmate, Jacobs probably wouldn’t even be in the picture right now."

Just as he was joking, Wyatt Wynn pulled up in a golf cart.

"I heard you saying my name from a mile away. What are you gossiping about now?"

Zeke Walton chuckled. "Just singing your praises. Saying how amazing you are, graduating from the same university as Faye Fisher. Come on, it’s a reunion! You’ve got a junior."

Wyatt Wynn’s stomach dropped. He shot Faye Fisher a reproachful look, as if to say, ’Why on earth did you have to bring that up?’

Feeling guilty, Faye Fisher averted her gaze and went to grab a golf club.

Wyatt Wynn squeezed Zeke Walton’s shoulder.

"There are plenty of women from your class, your school, and your graduating year. I don’t see you running around claiming kinship with every single one of them. Stop teasing me. I just came to tell you all to have fun. I have something to take care of, so I need to head out."

Zeke Walton protested, "Damn, why are you so busy? You just got to Seacliff. What business could you possibly have? So important you have to go alone? I’ll go with you. We can golf anywhere, right? Did I really come all this way from Veridia just for this? Come on, let’s go out and take a drive, clear our heads."

Normally, Wyatt Wynn would have dragged him along even if he didn’t want to go.

But the situation was different now.

"You’re so damn annoying. Are you a lovesick girl or my shadow? Why are you so clingy all day? I said I have something to do. Do you have to follow me everywhere? It’s getting on my nerves."

Zeke Walton exclaimed, "Hey! Wyatt Wynn, are you dissing me? You’re actually dissing me? You son of a..."

He stopped mid-sentence as realization dawned on him.

"I get it. You just got to Seacliff, you don’t know a single soul here. What ’business’ could you possibly have? You’re going to see a girl, aren’t you? Got your eye on the one from last night? Planning to keep things going? Damn, you’ve got stamina. How do you never get tired of women?"

’Faye Fisher is standing right here, how can he talk about me like that?’

Wyatt Wynn aimed a kick at him, but Zeke Walton dodged it.

"Get lost. Stop projecting your own sordid habits onto me. I don’t have time for you today. I’m leaving. Vaughn, Cecelia Archer, you two have fun. We’ll hang out when I get back."

As he was about to leave, Faye Fisher put the club she’d just picked up back down and took two steps after him.

"I’ll go with you."

Zeke Walton had already noticed her awkward gait when she walked over earlier, as if she were in pain. Now that she’d run a couple of steps, it was even more obvious.

Zeke Walton grabbed her. "Do you even know what he’s going to do? And you’re just going to go with him? Besides, what’s wrong with your leg? It looks like you’re injured. Can you even walk properly?"

Faye Fisher blushed and rolled her eyes at Zeke Walton.

"What do you think is wrong with it? I twisted it carrying you back last night. I don’t care where he’s going, I’m just hitching a ride to buy a new phone. Mine is broken, and I can’t exactly go without one, can I?"

They had rented two cars to make getting around easier for the next few days. Even though the bar was nearby, Wyatt Wynn still drove her there.

Two minutes later, they arrived at the bar.

The bar wasn’t open at this hour, but a security guard was on duty at the entrance.

Seeing them approach, the guard immediately walked over to stop them.

"Hey, hey, hey, can’t you read? We’re not open. We don’t do business at this hour. Come back tonight."

Wyatt Wynn stopped and looked at the guard.

"I’m not going to waste my breath on you. Call your manager."

The guard noticed his expensive clothes and the luxury car he’d arrived in.

"What do you want with our boss?"

"Just get him here. Tell him I’ll give him twenty minutes. If he’s not here by then, he can’t blame me when he’s out of business."

Startled, the guard hurriedly called his team leader, who in turn called the manager.

Soon, the door opened from the inside, and the man who’d had Wyatt Wynn thrown out the previous night walked out.

He had a pretty strong memory of Wyatt Wynn and recognized him instantly.

"You again? Still haven’t given up, huh? Aren’t you supposed to be some big shot? Such a big shot, but you make a huge fuss over a single lost bag. You have to get it back instead of just buying a new one. How pathetic is that?"

Wyatt Wynn said coolly, "Whether or not I’m pathetic is none of your concern. Just tell me if you can find it or not."

"No! I told you loud and clear last night. Even if I could find it, I wouldn’t! I can’t stand guys like you, putting on an act for some woman. I’m going to make sure you can’t keep it up. I’m going to put you in your place. What are you gonna do about it?"

"What can I do? You’re about to find out."

With that, Wyatt Wynn took out his phone and made a call right in front of the man.

The man looked like he was about to die laughing.

"Did you see that, boys? What an act! HAHAHA. I’ll just wait right here. Yeah, let’s all wait and see what he can do to us. I’ve been with Ken for years and I’ve never seen someone put on a show like this. It’s hilarious."

"HAHAHA!" The others also found Wyatt Wynn laughable.

They all started laughing along, amused that someone would dare to make a scene on Ken’s turf.

Wyatt Wynn watched them with a placid expression. Faye Fisher stood silently by his side, waiting.

Less than five minutes later, a police car came screeching to a stop.

The manager’s expression didn’t change in the slightest. He knew how powerful Ken was.

’Without those kinds of connections, how could they have grown the business this big?’

"You called them? Go on, then. Tell them to arrest me."

Wyatt Wynn remained silent as several officials stepped out of the car and gave the manager a direct order.

"Surprise fire inspection. Open the doors."

The man had the guard open the doors while he called Ken.

Before he could even finish speaking, one of the officials turned around.

"Fire code violations. I saw several the moment I walked in. Who’s the owner? Come sign the official notice. You’re shutting down for inspection and rectification."

Only then did the manager begin to panic. He reported to Ken that someone was targeting them.

Ken didn’t believe it and told him to hand the phone to the official in charge. The official listened to Ken roaring on the other end for a moment.

"The order came from above. We’re just doing our jobs."

"So when can we reopen?"

"Hard to say. It will depend on how you address the violations."

He handed the phone back to the manager. Ken was still roaring on the other end.

"Who the hell did you piss off? Who the fuck has this much pull?"

The manager had no choice but to change his tune completely and turn to Wyatt Wynn.

"Sir, my apologies. Forgive me for being blind and failing to recognize your importance. May I be so bold as to ask your name?"

"Wyatt Wynn. Tell him, from the Wynn Family of Veridia."

The man on the other end of the line roared even louder.

The call ended. With a THUD, the manager dropped to his knees in front of Wyatt Wynn.

"I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, Young Mr. Wynn! I was blind to your greatness, I... I’ll pull up the security footage for you right now! I’ll find your bag! You’re a magnanimous man, please, spare my worthless life!"
