My Three Babies Have Different Fathers
Chapter 107: Do you regret giving birth to us?
"I’m sure," Ghani’s subordinate replied without blinking. "However, Sir, that only covers the financial compensation owed to the Vein family for the collapse of their stock price. You still have to pay for the damage to the system you hacked yesterday. As a result of your actions, the Supervisory Council suffered significant losses. Therefore, we have no choice but to impose additional penalties."
He then turned to Orland.
"Mr. Orland, this is the report on the damage to the system caused by your son. All the details are listed here. We are also asking you to pay compensation because, as his father, you are responsible for him."
Orland took the document and chuckled sarcastically.
"Dion Sexa was the one who hacked the system. And now you’re asking me to pay for the damages? Have you gone mad?" he shouted after seeing the amount listed.
"You can ask Mr. Dion Sexa for further details. Your son was the mastermind behind the attack on the Supervisory Council’s system a few days ago. Mr. Dion’s men were only responsible for distracting us so that the intrusion would go undetected," Ghani’s subordinate explained with a faint smile.
Orland looked at Dion and Ghani’s subordinate with a gloomy expression.
Meanwhile, Hans Xin tapped his fingers against the armrest of his chair. He felt proud that his son was among the most obedient and well-behaved of the three. However, before he could even breathe a sigh of relief, Ghani’s subordinate turned to him again.
"As for you, Mr. Hans Xin, this is the compensation bill you must pay. Your son has been running a hospital in the Melvin Continent for the past two years, but it seems he forgot to report it to the Supervisory Council."
He continued in an official tone, "Your son may conceal his identity from the public, but not from the Supervisory Council, especially since the hospital is related to the safety of many people. Even though his medical skills and identity are recognized in the medical field, he is still required to register personally. This requirement applies even if he has not yet reached the eligible age."
Hans’s expression immediately darkened.
"What do you mean? My son simply forgot to report it. What about their two sons?" he asked, pointing at Dion and Orland.
Ghani’s subordinate smiled lightly. "You don’t need to worry. We’ve already calculated their compensation fees as well."
He handed two bills to Dion and Orland, then stepped back a few paces.
"These are the amounts you must pay. You are not allowed to leave this building until all payments have been settled. Please pay them as soon as possible."
The subordinate then turned to Tino Nair, avoiding the sharp gazes of the four rulers of the Melvin territories. The bills now in front of them were expected to drain most of their respective fortunes.
"Mr. Tino, the Head of the Supervisory Council has already contacted your pilot. Your plane should have landed on the roof of this building by now. Please follow me. I will escort you once the compensation payments I mentioned have been settled."
Tino slammed his cane against the floor.
"Does your master really think he can just throw me out like this?" he asked sharply. "I’m Tino Nair. Even after stepping down from my position, no one has ever treated me this way!"
Ghani’s subordinate smiled faintly.
"Sir, you compare the present situation to the past far too often. Our master is clearly different from the people who usually surround you. He will not allow you to stay in the Melvin Continent any longer. So please don’t make him uncomfortable."
He bowed and extended a hand, gesturing for Tino to proceed.
Tino snorted. After gritting his teeth, he looked at Maya Vein.
"I’ll deal with your good-for-nothing son first. Settle all these problems before his wedding to my granddaughter. Don’t let the public find out what happened."
Without waiting for Maya’s response, he immediately followed Ghani’s subordinate.
Maya merely smiled faintly and lowered her head without saying anything.
When they reached the exit, Tino stopped. His subordinate immediately handed a piece of paper to a Supervisory Council officer and whispered something to him. The officer’s eyes widened before he finally nodded.
"I’ll allow some of your subordinates to remain by your side while you’re staying here. I’ll report this matter to Mr. Ghani."
Tino continued walking toward the exit. However, before leaving the building, his gaze fell on Hana, who was running down the hallway to embrace her three sons.
He paused for a moment, watching Hana before asking his subordinate, "What about the matter I asked you to investigate?"
The subordinate lowered his head. "We’re still gathering all the evidence. By the time we reach the Nair family’s old residence, everything should be ready."
Tino nodded and continued walking. A black car was waiting outside the building.
Meanwhile, Hana wiped the tears from each of her sons’ faces in turn.
"Did Mother scare you? I’m sorry. Please don’t cry anymore, okay?" she coaxed.
Sean, who was usually so calm, immediately threw himself into her arms.
"We thought you really didn’t want us anymore. You were going to send us to an orphanage and have another child with your ex." His voice trembled between sobs.
Zahn followed his older brother and hugged Hana tightly.
"Mother... didn’t you promise that you would always stay with us? Why did you leave in the middle of the night while we were sleeping? We thought you were already tired of us." His sobs grew louder. "Waaah..."
Kevin merely stood there, clenching his fingers tightly. His face was flushed, and tears continued streaming down his cheeks. He said nothing, only staring at Hana fearfully, as though he was afraid the woman would disappear again.
Hana’s heart ached at the sight of her three sons. She immediately pulled Kevin into her arms, gathering all three children in her embrace.
"Mother was wrong to leave without telling you. Please forgive me, okay? I only wanted to settle my own problems. After this, we’ll go home and live together again. I’ll also cook your favorite food. How does that sound?"
The three children looked up at her.
"Mother..." Kevin finally spoke. "Do you regret giving birth to us? Do you regret having relationships with our three fathers in the past?"
