My Three Babies Have Different Fathers
Chapter 89: Are you the ones who killed my son?
Maya walked past Brandon and calmly sat down in the chair her people had prepared for her.
"You dare take her away from this territory?"
Orland Hesh snorted as he looked at her. "Maya Vein, it’s been so long since we last met, yet it seems you’ve become far too arrogant. How dare you hurt my woman!"
Dion Sexa, sitting beside him, smiled mockingly. "Did you think I would just sit back and watch you hurt my woman? You even dared to send her to a gambling establishment! Maya Vein, aside from your appearance changing a little, has your brain remained exactly the same?"
Maya crossed her legs and rested her chin on one hand.
"I never expected men like you to want such a terrible woman. Are you both blind?"
"Isn’t your only son blind, too?" Dion Sexa asked.
Orland Hesh, sitting beside him, nodded in agreement.
Maya snorted. She took a document from her secretary and tossed it onto the table in front of them, which her people had already replaced.
"You may leave my territory now. However, you must sign this agreement first."
Orland lowered his head, picked up the document, and read it. After a moment, he looked up at Maya.
"What makes you so sure we’ll agree to sign this document?"
Maya shrugged. "I’m just taking a gamble."
Dion immediately took the document from Orland’s hands and read it quickly. His brows furrowed when he reached the final page.
"Maya Vein, it seems you’ve truly lost your mind."
Maya smiled faintly, then asked her secretary to hand a tablet to the two men.
"Hana killed someone from our eastern territory. How could I not demand something from you in return?"
"You were the one who sent Hana to that place. You even sold her there as a prostitute. She was simply defending herself."
"Dion Sexa, murder is still murder. Hana killed—"
Dion raised his hand, causing Maya to fall silent immediately.
"I’ve gathered all the evidence. Are you sure you want to press charges against her?"
"He was the illegitimate son of an important figure in our eastern territory."
Dion snorted. "Not just an illegitimate son. Even if he were his legitimate son, I’d still kill him."
"He was the son of a member of the Supervisory Council of the Melvin Continent," Maya Vein added.
Dion and Orland’s expressions changed instantly. Dion stood up and pointed at Maya’s face.
"Maya, did you deliberately send Hana to that place? Was this your way of making sure she died?"
The corners of Maya’s lips curled slightly.
"I didn’t plan any of this. I genuinely intended to turn Hana into a prostitute there. Who could have expected her fate to turn out even worse than I’d originally planned?"
Crash!
Orland slammed his hand hard against the glass table in front of him.
"Maya Vein, do you think we’ll let you get away with all this? Wasn’t hurting her seven years ago enough for you?"
"That was her own fault for seducing Brandon. And Brandon—"
Brandon rose from where he stood and immediately approached Maya.
"You want Hana to bear the blame for something she never even wanted to do? You want her locked up in prison?" he asked in a low, forceful voice.
Maya massaged her temples at Brandon’s question.
"She dared to return to Melvin City and seduce you."
"I was the one who found her and kept her by my side. She never had any intention of becoming my mistress."
"And you believe a woman like that? Brandon, it seems you still have a lot to learn in the future."
"Maya Vein," Dion Sexa interrupted. "Do you think you can press charges against Hana with just a little evidence? You’re underestimating us and our sons far too much."
Maya raised her head and looked at him, her expression clearly showing that she didn’t understand what Dion meant.
"You tampered with the CCTV footage at that place. But do you think I don’t have someone who can handle this matter?"
Orland nodded.
"My son and my aunt have already worked together to deal with the CCTV footage from that place. Even if you have footage of Hana killing the illegitimate son of a member of the Supervisory Council of the Melvin Continent, we also have evidence proving that you were the one who started all this. Every conversation, every sound, even your expressions were clearly captured in the videos we’ve collected."
Orland smiled mockingly.
"Take a guess. Will the Supervisory Council punish Hana, or will they press charges against you instead?"
Dion Sexa nodded in agreement.
"Besides," he said, his face slightly pale despite the unmistakable mockery in his eyes, "Hana didn’t kill him at all. She only injured him in an attempt to defend herself. When I arrived, the man was still breathing steadily."
Dion lowered his voice.
"I was the one who killed him. With my own two hands."
He shifted his gaze to Brandon, who was still standing beside Maya Vein.
"Maya Vein, didn’t you even ask your people to look into this further? Or... has your dear son been deliberately hiding everything from you and letting you remain in the dark?" he asked.
Maya frowned, then immediately turned to look at her son.
"Brandon, did you do this?"
Brandon gave a crooked smile. It looked more like an expression of despair than triumph.
"That’s right. I was the one who blinded your people when they tried to investigate further. If you still intend to hurt Hana, don’t expect me to let you get away with it. Not even if you’re my mother."
He looked at Maya with a firm gaze.
"I, Brandon Vein, will never let what happened seven years ago happen again."
"Brandon!!! Do you know what will happen if—"
"Don’t worry," Brandon interrupted. "I’ve already contacted the Supervisory Council of the Melvin Continent."
Everyone in the room immediately turned to look at Brandon Vein.
Brandon smiled mockingly and looked at them one by one.
"I anticipated that this would happen. So, before you even entered this place, I’d already planned everything. The Supervisory Council should be arriving soon."
He paused for a moment before continuing, his gaze turning cold.
"I won’t let any of you get away. Including one of your friends..."
Brandon glanced at Dion and Orland.
Dion immediately sprang to his feet, knocking over the chair behind him. He strode toward Brandon, but before he could utter a single word—
Crash!
The door was violently kicked open from the outside.
A group of people dressed in black entered, carrying weapons, while a man wearing a tie walked in the middle of them.
They stopped directly in front of the four people.
"Are you the ones who killed my son?" he asked.
