Chapter 59: Hinata- The Cook

After Naruto ended the battle with Orochimaru, his clones disappeared one by one across the village.

Naruto was instantly hit with a large number of memories, forcing him to fall on his butt.

He was breathing heavily as he tried to adjust himself to the memories of those clones.

"That was too much."

Naruto said, and muttered.

Even with his nerves and Chakra, he still couldn’t withstand the impact of those memories.

Most of his clones didn’t disappear for several minutes; some even lasted half an hour.

So, they brought him a lot of memories, so much so that it became increasingly difficult to adjust to them.

But this was Naruto Uzumaki. Despite growing a brain in a month, he still had the nerves of steel.

"Naruto, do you need medical attention?"

Two people quickly approached him. One of them was Sasuke, and the other was Kakashi. As soon as they reached there, Kakashi asked.

"No, I am not injured. Haa! I am just tired."

Naruto said as he lay down on the ground. He was indeed tired.

Kurama’s Chakra was amazing, but there was a limit to his body. He couldn’t handle that Chakra’s weight for much longer.

The only reason he got this far was that Kurama removed the malice from the Chakra.

Thankfully, he was also using Senjutsu Chakra that increased his endurance, which allowed him to sustain and heal from the damage done by Kurama’s chakra.

"Well, you should take some rest. Sasuke can help you with this. I will go join the other Jonin to assess the situation."

Kakashi nodded and left without even asking anything about Orochimaru. After all, that was a Sannin.

It made perfect sense that Naruto wasn’t strong enough to kill him.

"Hey, Sasuke! I kicked Orochimaru’s ass."

Naruto made a peace sign towards him and giggled.

"Just take some rest, you idiot."

Sasuke grumbled. He didn’t become moody because of Naruto’s strength.

But he did understand what he needed to do. First of all, he would get Sage Mode.

Then, he would awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan to get as strong as Naruto.

"Naruto-kun!"

A worried voice rang out from afar as Hinata ran towards him.

Compared to a month ago, Hinata had grown a lot of courage. At least, she didn’t panic or shy away from him.

When Naruto heard her voice, he instinctively replied.

"Hinata, I’m hungry."

After he said that, he froze. He almost forgot that those memories could still affect him.

After fighting a battle, it was normal for him to go home hungry.

That battle could be with terrorists or paperwork.

Hinata froze, and her cheeks immediately turned pale red.

"Umm!"

She rubbed her fingers together and said.

"Naruto-kun, I...I...I can cook."

Naruto froze and screamed in his heart.

’Naruto, come on! This is your chance. Don’t mess up here. Be brave and ask her.’

"Umm!"

Naruto felt his body grow stronger as he jumped on his feet and said.

"Let’s go, Hinata! I can’t wait to eat."

"Wait, wait, didn’t you say you were too tired?"

Sasuke couldn’t help but feel his forehead veins popping out.

Naruto glared at him and turned towards Hinata.

"Ignore this, Hinata! I am not tired at all. I am hungry."

"Umm!"

Hinata couldn’t help but lower her head as she watched his legs wobble a little.

"Idiot!"

Sasuke rolled his eyes and instantly put Naruto on his back.

"Hey, Sasuke, what are you doing? Let go of me! I can walk."

"Your legs say otherwise. Besides, I don’t want to do this either."

"Then, let me go!"

"Shut up, loser!"

Sasuke angrily shouted and turned towards Hinata.

"Let’s go!"

While talking to Hinata, his voice was still as cold as before.

Hearing his words, Hinata gently smiled and followed them.

"Is that Naruto? Is he injured?"

"I heard he was fighting Orochimaru. Should we get him a Medical Ninja?"

"Idiot! Didn’t you hear what Lord Kakashi just said? Naruto is just exhausted. They must be bringing him home."

"Let’s go! A lot of buildings have been destroyed in this area. We need to clean this up."

The many Genin and Chunin, and even Jonin who were saved by Naruto, started discussing. They were quite curious about his situation.

Although many of them hated the Nine-Tails and its malice was also transferred to Naruto, it didn’t prevent them from being grateful towards him.

Of course, there were also a group of people who didn’t show such gratitude. Unfortunately, they were too few in number.

More importantly, most of them were civilians who were already taken to a safe place. Because of Naruto, the damage to the village was serious.

But the number of deaths was extremely low: less than ten Genin, fifteen Chunin, and two Jonin died because Naruto’s clones fell for traps.

After all, Naruto was using Kyubi’s Chakra Mode, which didn’t have the sensory capability of Sage Mode.

And with his twelve-year-old mind, there were certain traps that he couldn’t see, like suicide bombers.

Fortunately, that only gave him more experience and knowledge about those traps.

At this moment, somewhere far away, a certain man clenched his fist as veins appeared all around his face.

"Naruto Uzumaki!"

He gritted his teeth when saying that name. He was angry but also helpless.

He couldn’t just force Hinata not to follow Naruto, especially since Naruto just saved the village.

But he would keep his eyes on them. He wouldn’t let that yellow-haired brat get his hands on his daughter.

But he also had a lot of other things to do. Most importantly, protecting his second daughter, Hanabi.

Unlike Hinata, Hanabi was only seven years old, so she needed more protection, especially since the war had weakened Konoha’s defenses.

This allowed a certain yellow-haired guy to take his daughter into his house.

Sasuke didn’t stay there for long. After delivering Naruto to his house, he immediately left.

"Naruto-kun, I will prepare some food immediately."

"Umm! Hinata-chan, I will take a bath."
