Necromancer Of The Shadows - Chapter 1365: Void Requiem (Part 3)

Chapter 1365: Void Requiem (Part 3)
BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
High in the sky, deafening explosions erupted one after another as the heavens shattered into countless fragments, revealing a pitch-black void behind them.
Molar and Turoon, the two peak Rank Five core evolvers, were locked in a fierce battle that seemed capable of destroying everything in their path.
Both were only a single step away from reaching Rank Six, becoming one of the strongest beings in all of Utopia.
You have to understand across the entirety of Utopia, the number of Rank Six core evolvers was extremely small. Despite the massive population, there were fewer than a thousand Rank Six beings in existence.
Molar and Turoon, standing at the absolute peak of Rank Five, were naturally far from ordinary. On top of that, they were the respective leaders of the demon and dragon armies, making them even more exceptional among peak Rank Five beings.
Because of this, their battle was so intense that it looked as if the world itself were coming to an end.
Turoon, who had transformed into a gigantic crystal dragon, swept his massive claw downward as a multicolored glow coated it entirely. Everywhere the claw passed was annihilated completely, turning into a pitch-black void where nothing remained intact.
Molar watched the continent-sized claw falling toward him, his small figure looking like nothing more than an insect beneath its shadow. Yet, despite facing such an overwhelming attack, there wasn’t even a hint of fear on his face.
A burst of demonic energy erupted from his small body and, with a roar, he threw a punch upward.
BOOOOOOM!
A booming sound spread across hundreds of thousands of kilometers as a fist made of pure demonic energy shot upward, colliding with the colossal claw.
Compared to the claw, the fist looked insignificant. But the moment they collided, the giant claw halted instantly and the next second—
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
A terrifying explosion, far stronger than all the previous ones consumed the sky. The space within more than a million kilometers shattered instantly, plunging everything beneath it into a black radiance of the void.
Despite the fact that they were battling far above the clouds, some of the shockwaves still reached the battlefield below. If not for the other Rank Five beings stationed there who intercepted them, both armies would have suffered catastrophic losses.
Molar didn’t stop after blocking Turoon’s attack and with a single step, he appeared right before the giant claw.
The nails on his small hands elongated rapidly, and in the blink of an eye, he slashed them across Turoon’s shining crystal claw, his eyes gleaming with fierce light.
Turoon was a crystal dragon, and his defensive power was one of the strongest among all dragons.
However, when Molar slashed with his nails, they easily cut through the crystal armor and left a deep wound behind.
On Turoon’s gigantic claw, the wound seemed unimpressive at first. But suddenly, a burst of demonic energy erupted from the cut, and in an instant, the wound tore open violently, spreading across his entire claw, reaching all the way to his bones.
ROAR!!!
Turoon roared in agony as a river of blood cascaded from the massive wound, dyeing the entire sky blood-red.
Molar sneered at Turoon’s pained cry and prepared to attack again.
But suddenly, a sharp whistling sound reached his ears and before he could react, a crystal tail smashed into the side of his ribs.
BOOOOOOM!
Crack!
A tremendous explosion rang out, followed by the unmistakable sound of bones cracking, as Molar was sent hurtling away with blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.
A pained expression crossed his face for a brief second and he tried to regain his balance.
But before he could recover his balance—
ROOOOOOAR!!!
An enraged dragon roar echoed across the vast battlefield, and a suffocating sense of danger flooded Molar’s mind.
The pain that engulfed his entire being instantly disappeared and he turned his head with great difficulty.
But as soon as he turned his head, his face turned deathly pale as a colossal dragon head, with planet-sized eyes, stared at him with its jaws wide open.
Intense waves of energy surged within Turoon’s throat as something horrifying was brewing there.
Even before Turoon released the attack, all the hair on Molar’s body stood on end as his eyes widened in fear.
The next instant—
ROOOOOOOAR!!!
A dragon roar even louder than before shook the entire world, and a Dragon Breath of crystal-clear light shot straight toward Molar.
“Fu*k!” Molar cursed loudly and using every ounce of strength, he forcefully stabilized himself and vanished from the path of the Dragon Breath.
Even then, the attack grazed his left shoulder and his entire left arm disintegrated instantly.
The Dragon Breath continued streaking forward even after missing him, destroying everything in its path and appearing as if it would reach the very edge of the world.
Molar reappeared a few hundred kilometers away, glaring at his ruined shoulder with an ugly expression. Although the arm regenerated within seconds, he still couldn’t stop himself from looking at Turoon with eyes full of seething hatred.
Terrifying demonic energy began surging around him, and a crimson glow enveloped his entire body.
Turoon sneered when he saw Molar’s enraged expression, but he didn’t care. He flapped his massive wings, preparing to attack again.
But just as they were about to clash once more, both of them paused as they sensed unfamiliar energy fluctuations.
The next moment, someone appeared between them out of thin air, looking at them calmly.
“You two are causing far too much sound pollution…” Evan said coldly as he raised his arm.
“Who are you?” Molar asked with narrowed eyes as the moment Evan appeared, he felt an ominous sensation crawl across his skin.
Evan didn’t answer his question. Instead, black-violet energy slowly seeped out of his body.
“Let’s move your fight somewhere else, somewhere you won’t cause any environmental damage.” He spoke plainly, and the next second—
“Void Requiem.”
His cold voice echoed between them and everything collapsed into utter darkness.
