Necromancer Of The Shadows - Chapter 1366: Void Requiem (Part 4)

Chapter 1366: Void Requiem (Part 4)
“Void Requiem!”
As Evan’s voice echoed, the material space surrounding Molar and Turoon collapsed, plunging them into the utter darkness of the void.
There were a total of five layers within the void space. Most Rank Four core evolvers, even without any understanding of the Law of Void, could enter the first layer simply by shattering material space.
Some particularly powerful Rank Four core evolvers could even step into the second layer.
However, to enter the third layer of the void and more importantly, to find one’s way within it, one needed a deep understanding of the Void Law. Without such understanding, even an ordinary Rank Five core evolver would struggle to escape once trapped inside the third layer.
One of the main reasons Baphomet and Eldrakar were still trapped within the collapsed void space of the Tomb of the Ancient was because, after the void space collapsed, they were thrown directly into the deepest layer of the void, the fifth layer.
And because the Tomb of the Ancient had completely collapsed, the void space could no longer be sustained without the support of material space. As a result, the fifth layer was flooded with the power of nothingness itself.
Even Eldrakar, a Void Dragon with an exceptionally high understanding of the Void Law, was helpless under such circumstances. If he had been trapped in a normal fifth layer of the void, he might still have been able to find a way out with great difficulty. But with the power of nothingness permeating the entire layer, escaping became an almost impossible task.

Currently, Evan’s Void Law Seal was at 23.14%.
Although this level was not particularly high, it was sufficient for him to enter and exit the third layer of the void space safely. If he were to force his way deeper, he could even reach the fourth layer of the void.
However, once inside the fourth layer, there was a high chance that he would not be able to find his way back out. Not only that, the fourth layer was inhabited by numerous powerful void beasts, some of which could even reach the peak of Rank Five.
Fighting void beasts that were stronger than him inside the void space would be nothing short of suicidal.
Because of this, Evan had brought Turoon and Molar only into the third layer of the void space.
Although there was still a chance of encountering high-level void beasts even in the third layer, Evan was confident that, with his current abilities, he could escape without much difficulty.
Moreover, he had not merely dragged Molar and Turoon into the third layer.
In addition to using his Void Law to transport them there, he had also fused his limited understanding of the conceptual energies of Soul and Space to create a completely isolated domain.
Although his comprehension of the conceptual energies of Soul and Space was still extremely shallow and far from reaching the level of a true law, unlike his Void Law, it was still enough to integrate them together and form a new ability.
Void Requiem was an ability born from the fusion of his Void Law with his rudimentary understanding of the conceptual energies of Soul and Space.
Furthermore, his Primordial Shadow Energy itself was composed of the conceptual energies of Life, Death, and Soul. Using it greatly amplified the influence of his conceptual Soul Energy.
As a result, the moment Void Requiem was activated, the expressions of both Molar and Turoon changed drastically.
As peak Rank Five core evolvers, they immediately sensed the abnormal changes in their surroundings. More importantly, they felt a strange, sticky sensation clinging not only to their physical bodies but also to their souls.
The physical discomfort came from the third layer of the void itself, a realm where movement was heavily restricted for those who lacked any understanding of the Void Law.
The discomfort affecting their souls, however, was caused by Evan directly interfering with their spirits using conceptual Soul Energy.
Molar was greatly shocked by the sudden shift in circumstances.
Turoon was no different. However, unlike Molar, there was something else that caused him to frown deeply.
As he looked at Evan standing not far away, an inexplicable sense of familiarity washed over him, as though he had seen this man somewhere long ago.
Turoon was already millions of years old, an age considered ancient even among Rank Five core evolvers. As he searched his memories, a long-forgotten scene suddenly resurfaced in his mind and his face instantly turned pale.
“Y-You… you are…” He stammered, stumbling a few steps backward as fear crept into his expression.
Evan was momentarily surprised by Turoon’s reaction.
However, after recalling that dragons naturally lived far longer than most core evolvers and that a Rank Five dragon like Turoon might have encountered Azroth during the time he wandered the world alongside Anastasia, the surprise faded from his face.
Suppressing his emotions, Evan carefully adjusted his expression, imitating Azroth’s cold and indifferent gaze as he stared back at the terrified dragon.
