Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2175: Not as weak

Chapter 2175: Not as weak
I could hear the commotion coming from the other side of the capital.
At the same time, I could feel the traces of divine energy that was coming from there.
These were familiar traces of divine energy since I had trained with the owners of these relics before. But the most important thing was that these people had been trapped inside of the capital by the forces of Destruction.
Since I was sensing these traces, it meant that the people inside of the capital realized what was happening and were responding.
The ones that had been trapped inside of the capital were now breaking through the forces of Destruction and properly evacuating. The only thing that they needed now was time for them to get out of there.
Which meant that I had to stall for time.
War was the only one that would be able to threaten them, the rest of the corruption energy monsters were nothing more than cannon fodder in front of them. Even if the other Apostles of Destruction decided to do something, it wasn’t as if they couldn’t fight back.
Only it didn’t seem like War cared about what was happening back there.
With the way that War looked at me, it was as if I was the only one in its sights.
This was a good thing, but I couldn’t help feeling a chill run down my spine when I saw this.
Since I had to buy time, it wasn’t a good idea to let War dictate the tempo.
I didn’t have to say anything as Lupus suddenly gathered her power.
When she ran forward, she moved at her top speed.
This was no longer a problem for us since my senses had been boosted to a new level with the third inheritance from the God of Creation. So even if she ran at this speed, I was still able to process the information and react.
Which meant that the flaw from before had been completely fixed
As Lupus ran forward, she suddenly turned a bit to the right.
This turn caused her to move to the side of where War was so that we weren’t charging directly at War. Instead, we were moving in a way that would allow us to run in a circle around War.
As this was happening, I pulled out my orb and raised it towards War.
When I did, there were weapons that suddenly appeared around me. However, these weapons didn’t stay around me for long as they suddenly disappeared just as suddenly as they had appeared.
When they appeared once more, they were stabbed into War’s shield.
War had raised the shield in its other hand the moment that I sent the swords at it.
It seemed like this time, War wasn’t planning on letting these swords hit it and there was a good reason for that.
“It seems like you’ve gotten a bit stronger. You’re not strong enough to threaten me, but it isn’t good if I take too many of these.”
The fact that War said all of this showed that my attacks would be effective against it. As long as there were enough of these attacks, they would be able to create a gap that I would be able to exploit.
The only problem was that we had to survive that long.
It wasn’t as if War was just going to let us attack it like last time.
Especially since we could see that there were traces of the shield that was being purified by the swords that I sent at War.
Since I posed a threat, War would take this much more seriously and would deal with me as soon as possible.
As if to prove that thought right, War suddenly raised the lance that was in its other hand.
However, that lance wasn’t used to attack.
Rather, War suddenly stabbed it into the ground.
It didn’t seem like this action didn’t really have any meaning, that was until Lupus suddenly jumped up.
That was because there were weapons that suddenly came out of the ground under us.
Since these were weapons made of corruption energy, it was easy to guess where they had come from.
This seemed to be the long range attack that War used against enemies that were away from it. It might have looked like a knight, but War did have different ways of attacking.
Seeing that the ground wasn’t safe, Lupus suddenly gathered wind under her feet that kept her in the sky. With each step that she took, it was as if there was wind that was being pushed down under her that kept her floating.
We were out of range of the weapons coming out of the ground, but I knew that this wasn’t a state that Lupus could keep up for long. Each step used up her energy since she had to create the wind that kept us moving.
It was only a matter of time before she ran out of energy completely, especially with the speed that we moved at.
Only I didn’t get a chance to attack again as there was something that came from under us.
The weapons coming out of the ground wasn’t the only part of this attack. After a bit of shaking, the corruption energy weapons that had come out of the ground suddenly shot up into the air.
The target of these weapons was me and Lupus.
Though it seemed like Lupus had more weapons targeting her.
It seemed like War wanted to deal with the mobility issue first before anything else.
But with a single wave of my orb, I created my own weapons that blocked these corruption energy weapons.
They were all purified in the end, but it was clear that I was weaker as I had generated more weapons to stop War’s weapons.
“I’m still weaker than it.” I muttered before suddenly saying, “But at least I’m not as weak as before. I can at least fight back.”
