Chapter 1364: It’s A Serious Fight

The signal to start the fight came in the form of a fireball being shot into the air and exploding in the sky.

I was not taking any chances…

Right now I was outnumbered more than a hundred to one and every single one of them was intent on trying to take me out.

I then pulled my arm back, tearing out a big chunk of earth that I raised above my head before tossing it over towards the crowd of competitors.

Some of them scattered after seeing the giant rock fly towards them, clearly not wanting to get crushed by the giant rock.

Incidentally, even though I pulled up that giant chunk from the ground, it immediately returned itself back to normal after a while like nothing happened to begin with.

Someone jumped out from the crowd towards the giant rock and pulled back their fist, punching it forward to smash the rock into pieces and protecting the other contestants.

When the rock shattered, the guy realised he made a mistake as he saw me waiting behind it with a ball of light floating above my head.

He didn’t even have time to react before a [Laser] was shot out from it, piercing through his head and eliminating him.

The guy ended up reappearing in a tent outside the arena, a little disoriented from the sudden teleportation but completely unharmed.

I then raised my other hand and threw a [Lightning Rod] down at the crowd, the rod itself burying halfway into the ground before arcs of electricity struck the ones that were unfortunate enough to stand near it.

While the crowd was still distracted by the panicking competitors, I wrapped myself with [Shadow Wrap] before diving towards the ground.

With myself encased in darkness, the person at the very front of the crowd did not notice me before I was already in front of him.

My hand reached out and grabbed him by the neck, the guy letting out a choked sound before I threw him with all the strength I had into the crowd.

He smashed several of them aside like bowling pins before both him and several others disappeared from the field.

Wrapping my legs with [Shadow Glide] I slid across the field, punching and kicking anyone that was unfortunate enough to be in my way and sending them flying in every direction indiscriminately.

But as I was about to punch another person, a palm flew out and blocked my fist, the other party catching my punch without moving an inch.

I frowned and looked up to see a rather large sized Wrunch furrowing his brows at me.

He lifted up his other fist to try and punch me but my tail snaked out from behind to strike him in the chest, sending him flying back with a cracked rib.

Several other contestants managed to take advantage of my pause to try and attack me.

Seeing that I was at risk of being surrounded, I crouched a little before concentrating on my hair.

I separated them into multiple different tendrils before shooting them out in all directions, smashing them into the abdomen of my attackers.

All of them got sent flying and I pulled my hair back before they could realise what hit them.

I then leapt up into the air, escaping the encirclement before I stretched out both of my hands to the side.

All the participants that had recovered from their earlier surprise immediately looked up to focus on me.

Since I had their attention, I stretched out my hands, letting electricity spark around one arm and conjuring balls of fire to appear above my other palm.

I also made use of my Umbramancy to wrap around my back, making it look like there was something sinister behind me.

With that effect in place, I hit the crowd with a quick cast of [Darkness Paranoia] and [Madness Infusion] at the same time.

Several of them lost their sight to the darkness immediately and their unstable mental condition led them to be very susceptible to the mental spell as well.

Quite a number of them immediately started screaming out in panic and attacked the people closest to them.

The ones who were unaffected by my spell now had to deal with both me and the ones who had gone crazy.

I then shot the [Spark Strike] I had charged in my arm and the [Fire Blast] in my other hand, blasting a few of the competitors away from below me.

One of the Amraps tried to leap at me, aiming to catch me while I was occupied in maintaining my spells.

Too bad for her, I saw her coming and swung my tail to smash it against the side of her head with a loud crack.

More of them took her example and jumped at me as well, prompting me to tuck myself into a ball and dive down towards the ground.

I made Eins and the others layer even more buffs on me and I felt my body seizing up from the effort of holding so many of them.

It did not matter as I already had my fist out and I struck the ground once more, my punch causing me to be buried up to my elbow into the ground before the resulting shockwave exploded to blast everyone away from me.

I wasn’t done yet as I unleashed a blast of fire into the ground, the flames exploding out around me to incinerate anyone unfortunate enough to stand within the explosion zone.

I pulled out my arm right as one of the stronger contestants rushed towards me, the Wrunch having been able to withstand the shockwave by digging in his heels.

He threw a few punches at me, each of them shooting out flames that I had to dodge and weave around to avoid being burned before I threw a [Rock Bullet] that smacked him in the head when he overextended one of his punches.

The rock barely did any damage to him but it was enough to distract him for that split second to allow me to buff myself with two layers of [Strength] and one layer of [Body Current] before I punched my fist forward.

My hand ended up piercing through the guy’s chest and exploded out from his back, the Wrunch letting out a choked gasp before he disappeared from in front of me.

I was just about to pull my arm back when something hit me from across the face, sending me stumbling to the side.

I raised up my arm instinctively and another impact struck me on my guard, giving me time to recover from the earlier blow.

Peeking from behind my arm, I looked out for the next move of my attacker, only to be met with an empty space in front of me.

I thought they were invisible at first until I noticed movement coming from below.

I leapt back right as a small figure the size of my palm flew upwards, revealing my attacker to be a Rizzie that was flying around.

She glared at me, as though offended that I would even try to dodge her attack before diving towards me once more.

I punched out my fist and intercepted her punch, our fists meeting in the middle and causing another shockwave to explode out from beneath us.

The surprising thing was that the Rizzie did not even budge from that punch but instead, she actually managed to shove me skidding back a step.

I narrowed my eyes to see the Rizze puffing out her chest like she just won something before she flew forward to attempt the same thing again.

This time, I did not hold back, layering five [Strength] buffs and even adding in a [Lightning Clad] into the punch for good measure.

My fist struck against her and I only felt a moment of resistance before my punch went all the way through.

The Rizzie turned into an improvised bullet as she flew back into the crowd to smash into another unfortunate contestant, causing both of them to disappear from the arena.

I turned towards the remaining participants and I realised all of them were now either wielding weapons or had magic coursing through the air around them.

Seems like these guys are the stronger ones and they aren’t playing around either.

I reached out my hands and materialised both my Light Sword and my Shadow Sword to hold them by my sides.
