“You actually did it?”
Even the guild master wasn’t able to hold back his shock when he heard what Lin Fan said.
It became even worse when Lin Fan took out the corpse of the lion as proof.
The guild master just stood there in a daze as if there was nothing that could shake him out of it, but eventually he did come back to his senses. As he did, the expression on his face seemed to become very strange.
Lin Fan could guess what the guild master was thinking when he showed this kind of expression, so he didn’t say anything. All he did was turn around and waited for the guild master to finish his business with the corpse of the lion.
Though with his sharp ears, he could hear a few things.

This was clearly a personal and private moment for the guild master, so he left the guild master alone.
When the guild master was done, he turned around to Lin Fan and said, “Thank you.”
Lin Fan gave a simple nod since he knew that there were no words that he could offer to the guild master to actually make things better for him.
The guild master knew that he had made things awkward for Lin Fan, so he changed the topic by simply asking, “What are you planning to do with this thing?”

“I just want to butcher it and sell off the parts. I have no need to keep this thing.”
When the guild master heard this, there was a glow that appeared in his eyes. It was clear that there was a thought that was on his mind, but it also seemed like he was hesitating to say it.

The guild master worked fast and brought him to a room in the back of the guild headquarters. Since there were all kinds of adventurers moving in and out of the guild, there were rooms that were prepared in the guild for these adventurers.
The one that the guild master had prepared for him was the best of the best, it was easy to tell from how luxurious the decorations of this place were. Though in the first place, it wasn’t as if Lin Fan wouldn’t have received this room by staying here.

Many of the people that came to toast Lin Fan were also those that ran their own business, just like the comrades that the guild master had introduced to him previously.

So when Lin Fan heard their offers, he said with a smile on his face, “Of course, I might have some business with you in the future.”
