With a sigh, Lin Fan said, “Alright, I can consider this. However, you’ll have to send me the list first so I can make sure that I’m able to get all of these things. I don’t want you to put me in a hard spot because it isn’t in the dungeon system store.”

Though he said this, Lin Fan didn’t really know how these two gods would send this list to him.

It turned out that it was quite a simple matter.

There was this glow that came from the eyes of the hind that flickered before disappearing.

Once that glow disappeared, Lin Fan could feel the information filling his mind.

This was information that was directly pumped into his brain, a sensation that was hard to describe unless it was happening to you. But it certainly wasn’t something that just anyone could do.

Feeling this, it did really make it clear to Lin Fan that the ones behind these voices were gods.

Though there was also a part of him that felt a bit conflicted about having his mind invaded like this. It certainly wasn’t a painful feeling, but there was this feeling of being violated to a certain extent because of this.

After receiving the list, Lin Fan didn’t say anything as he opened up the Dungeon Master System’s store. Since he had the list, he had to make sure that he would be able to provide the things that they were requesting.

It turned out that the Dungeon Master System’s store had all of the things that they wanted for the hind.

The problem was that…

“This price…” Lin Fan was completely stunned the moment that he saw the prices for these things.

He had expected the things that these two gods requested to be abnormal, but he didn’t expect them to be of this extent.

He might be able to afford one or two things on the list, but the entire list was not something that was within his budget.

Not only that, this only applied for the first few things on the list.

It seemed that there was a progression to this and the more powerful an item was, the more DP it cost. So it was clear that the ones that were cheaper were supposed to be fed to the hind first.

The ones that cost the most, those were supposed to be given to the hind when it was nearing the end of its growth.

Only Lin Fan had no idea when he would be able to afford those things.

The next words that came from Apollo showed that he had already considered this, “I know that you have your own difficulties when it comes to obtaining these things, so I’m not expecting you to obtain all of them right away. Just give it to the hind when it’s needed and you’ll be fine.”

He said it in a way that was casual, but the meaning behind the words weren’t that casual.

There was still a deadline and it wasn’t as if it was a strict deadline, it was more of an abstract deadline. That meant that Lin Fan really had no idea when he had to prepare everything that was needed.

In a way, it did make things more difficult for him.

Still, this could be considered Apollo’s way of showing his understanding.

“Gods really don’t know the struggles of mortals.” Lin Fan thought to himself in the end.

At least it meant that he didn’t have to prepare everything right away.

As long as he had time to prepare, he would be able to gather the DP needed for everything on this list eventually. Not only did he have the dungeon on the cultivation continent, there was also the dungeon in the Laver Empire that even had Haku’s support.

The amount of DP that Lin Fan was currently earning wasn’t a small amount.

“Alright, that’s not a problem.”

Hearing this, Apollo gave a nod before saying, “That ability of yours is quite strange, even a god like me has never seen something like that before.”

An awkward feeling filled Lin Fan when he heard this, but he didn’t say anything in response. He didn’t want to give away more than he should give, though that certainly was hard when the other side was a god.

There was no telling what Apollo was capable of, so he wanted to give him as few chances as possible.

In the end, it seemed like Apollo wasn’t actually interested in the Love Gauge Taming Skill. It was just one skill out of all the things that were in this world, so it wasn’t as if a god like Apollo would be obsessed with it.

After a moment of silence passed, there was something that changed with the hind.

It was the feeling that the hind gave off that completely changed in that moment.

“So it seems like the other goddess is back.” Lin Fan thought to himself when he saw this.

As he predicted, Artemis said, “We’re entrusting you with our little hind, so you have to take care of it.”

The way that she said this was almost as if she was the hind’s mother.

It really made Lin Fan start to wonder just what the term divine beast meant.

He thought that he had an idea, but it seemed like this idea wasn’t right with the way that Artemis acted. After all, there was no reason for a god to care this much about a simple divine beast.

“We’ll take care of each other. It’s not as if it’s a weak thing that needs to be babysat.”

Artemis didn’t respond when Lin Fan said this, but Lin Fan could see the trace of amusement that was on the hind’s face. It was clear that Artemis agreed and even approved of what he said.

Once she was done, Apollo came back to say, “Just know if you harm the hind in any way, we will make sure that you pay for it.”

This caught Lin Fan off guard, but not as much as what Apollo said next.

“This one is my sister’s favourites, so I won’t let anything happen to it.”

Lin Fan couldn’t help feeling a trace of bitterness on the inside when he heard this.

The way that these two acted made them seem less like gods than they had previously. It really felt like they were acting like petty humans more than anything else.

Though he did know better than to comment on this.

“Alright, we won’t bother you anymore.” Apollo said all of a sudden as if he was done with him.

But before they left, it was as if they suddenly realized something and they said, “If you go to the nest of this hind, you’ll find something good for you.”

Lin Fan was caught off guard hearing this, but it wasn’t as if there was anything that he could say in response as both of the gods disappeared. The face of the hind returned to normal and it even seemed like it was a bit confused about what happened.

The way that the hind looked at Lin Fan, it was as if the two gods had decided not to share what they had done with it.

However, there was one thing that did appear in Lin Fan’s vision.

“So the opinion of the gods has a large sway on the divine beasts as expected, but that still doesn’t really explain what divine beasts are…”

When the gods disappeared from the hind, there was a notification showing that he had received max affection with the hind that appeared. Lin Fan didn’t think that this would have been a problem since he would have been able to achieve it on his own, but the gods holding this kind of sway on the hind was surprising to say the least.

At the very least, it meant that there wouldn’t be a problem taming the hind.

Since he had max affection, all he had to do was say…

“Yes.”

There was this familiar light that appeared around the hind, but it felt different this time. The light that appeared remained much longer than it had previously.

With the way that the light surrounded the hind, it was almost as if there was something that was getting in the way of this process. It was as if there was something that was clashing with the power of the Love Gauge Taming Skill.

It was a sensation that was familiar since Lin Fan had encountered gods before.

“The Love Gauge Taming was something that the God of Earth gave me, so it should be something that has the power of a god…It isn’t strange that there would be this kind of clash with the divine power inside of a divine beast like this. It’s just that it seems like it’s strong enough to actually overpower it…”

The more that Lin Fan thought about it, the more amazed that he was about the power that the God of Earth wielded.

He didn’t really have a good perception of the God of Earth, but the fact that the God of Earth gave him this powerful skill was a sign of both its power and its sincerity.

“It seems like the God of Earth really was taking care of me…”

Lin Fan couldn’t help thinking of his system as this thought passed through his mind.

But for now, he turned his focus back on the hind in front of him.

“Can you show me what you’re capable of?”

The hind’s eyes seemed to light up when it heard this.
