Others Summon, I Forge Beast Armor
Chapter 205: Unmasking Day
Luke knows that there are more differences between twins.
Some factors cannot be inferred through his simple training in his backyard, because some factors can only be learned when needed.
However, no matter what Luke remembers, he will make sure to conduct the tests.
For example, endurance, stamina, strength, agility, attack power, recovery rate, defense, and attack accuracy.
For stamina, Luke had the Dark Dragonlord Primordial Twin Forms fly a certain distance and time continuously, and he soon identified which twin could fly longer without getting tired.
Since Luke ticked Bo for physical fitness, he believed Bo would also have stamina.
Moreover, since Lan is faster, Luke thinks she won’t have stamina because she might be the kind who uses all her energy to become faster.
However, unexpectedly, Lan’s stamina is stronger than her twin brother’s.
No wonder she hovers more often than Bo...
So, can she last longer than him in battle?
In contrast, Bo’s endurance is stronger than Lan’s because he won the endurance test. Now, this is to be expected.
And so on, Luke scored them based on these factors.
Bo was the winner in strength, and Lan was the winner in agility.
Luke had each twin attack the same target using the same method, and the twin who dealt more damage won the "attack power."
Bo’s attack power was about twice that of Lan’s, so he easily wins in this aspect, just as she was unbeatable in speed.
However, Lan’s attacks are more precise.
By measuring the speed at which a dragon recovers after intense activity or minor injuries, Luke can gauge the recovery rate, a trait that determines which dragon twin can return to combat readiness faster.
Luke was pleased to see that recovery speed and defense were attributes that the twins unanimously considered equal.
Their recovery speed seems to be the same, and they have the same ideas on self-defense: using their wings as shields, flying away, and fanning the air with their wings for defense, among other things.
Before long, time ran out, and there was just over an hour left until Luke’s meeting with the guilds.
Luke could make it in an hour since everything is happening in the same city, but he has to consider the schedule of the person picking him up. A very determined and disciplined person, who considers every second of the day as an important part...
Luke didn’t want to upset her, so he ended the summoning training, dismissed his mythic summons, and made space to go back inside and prepare.
The time it takes boys to wash up and get dressed was about the same as the time it took for the water to boil, and Luke was just a typical boy.
Despite having to put on a suit, Luke was very quick because he was used to wearing a suit; it used to be part of his daily routine when he was once the esteemed eldest son and heir of the Kingsley family.
After changing clothes, Luke looked in the mirror and was satisfied with his polished appearance; it was a semi-formal suit that looked both relaxed and focused on the task at hand.
Later, he left the villa, walked to the gate, and a familiar car was waiting for him.
He got into the back seat, and the car drove into the city, passing by the mega workshop he had completed.
"You look very smart, my lord," Lin Moon said from Luke’s left side, but her eyes were not looking at him; instead, she was operating a tablet.
Sometimes, the gaze of someone wearing glasses can be misleading, but Luke knew better than to take off Lin Moon’s glasses to see where she was looking.
"Thank you," Luke replied, sitting relaxed in the back seat, legs spread wide, seemingly exhausted after all the training. "Looks smart, but not enough brains; otherwise, I wouldn’t need you today."
Lin Yue chuckled for the first time and nodded in agreement.
"The best compliment is self-deprecation. Well said, my lord."
During this time, the guilds that Luke arranged to meet had already prepared for his arrival in an office building somewhere where the city is busiest.
The office building is a mini-skyscraper.
In this building, many floors are dedicated to business negotiations, private auctions, and important meetings. There are armed guards m at the entrance, while employees are busy ensuring everything is ready.
In one of the most renowned conference rooms of this building, an octagonal table stands, surrounded by comfortable chairs.
Each chair is dedicated to someone important to the meeting, refreshments are ready, and documents are placed in front of the chairs.
Some guild representatives have already arrived, like representatives from Ember Knights Guild, Nexus Guild, Green Grace Guild, and Silver Pirates Guild.
They’ve been looking forward to this meeting for a long time, because this meeting lays the foundation for further cooperation, expansion, and opportunities that none of them are willing to forgo.
The door to the conference room opens, and the president of the Ox Guild arrives with several representatives. His name was Mr. Bolin.
Others stood up to greet the gentleman, smiled, shook hands, saying, "Guild President, it’s been a long time."
Mr. Bolin laughed and replied, "Hahaha! Indeed, everyone. I hope you haven’t forgotten our previous friendship."
"Of course not. Please, have a seat."
After exchanging a few pleasantries, the representatives returned to their seats, and Mr. Bolin found himself sitting next to the chief representative of the Nexus Guild, a tall young man who looked too young to hold such an important position.
They didn’t know that their mysterious business partner was even younger.
As they sipped their coffee and waited for the meeting to start, Mr. Bolin suddenly brought up to this young man what everyone was thinking.
"What do you think of the mysterious guy? I feel like he’s a bit of a has-been. Otherwise, why go to such lengths to conceal his identity?"
The representative of the Nexus Guild took another sip and calmly said, "Perhaps exposure is too much for him. He might be afraid for his life and just wants to find some stability before revealing himself."
Mr. Bolin thought to himself, because this guy wasn’t interested in gossiping with him in the way he wanted.
"Maybe you’re right," he said.... "We’ll see who you really are, Mr. Rhino mask."
