Chapter 795: 795:Guards Lend Me Your Hand

Garrick’s sword attack continued falling toward the Imperial Palace. The palace was located at the heart of the Capital, and it was also one of the most crowded places in the entire city.

Countless people had gathered around the area while trying to escape the chaos, and many of them were still running through the streets without knowing where to go.

Garrick simply wanted to cut through everything with a single strike. His sword carried tremendous power, and the massive sword arc descended toward the palace with enough force to split the entire area apart. The people below looked up in fear as the shadow of the attack covered them.

But just as the sword arc was about to reach the palace, a huge golden barrier suddenly appeared.

BOOOOOOM!

The sword arc struck the barrier and spread across its surface. A bright golden light covered the entire area around the Imperial Palace and protected the people gathered there. The powerful impact shook the barrier, but it remained firmly in place.

Garrick’s eyes widened.

"The Saintess...How did she appear here?"

Disbelief flashed through his eyes as he stared at the golden barrier. He had not expected anyone to stop his attack, and he certainly had not expected the Saintess to appear in the Capital at this moment.

Meanwhile, at the center of the protected area, Henna stood quietly with her hands joined together. Her eyes were closed as she prayed for Divinity, and a gentle golden light continued to spread from her body. The power around her slowly strengthened the barrier and kept the people inside safe.

After making sure the barrier was stable, Henna opened her eyes.

Her gaze immediately found Ethan.

"I won’t partake in battle, but I will make sure to protect the people. You can go all out."

Ethan stared at her for a moment.

A feeling of relief passed through his heart.

He wanted to rush over and thank her, but he knew this was not the time. There were still enemies attacking the Capital, and Garrick was standing in the distance waiting for him.

Ethan slowly turned his gaze toward the person who had fired the beam at him earlier.

The man was already running away.

Ethan’s eyes narrowed.

He disappeared from his position.

WHOOSH!

The next instant, Ethan appeared directly above the fleeing man who shot him.

BOOM!

He slammed down onto the ground with tremendous force.

The ground cracked beneath his feet, and dust spread across the street. The man stumbled forward and quickly turned around in panic, but Ethan’s eyes had already fallen on the strange weapon beside him.

It was a large cannon.

Ethan frowned as he grabbed it with one hand and examined it for a moment.

The weapon looked completely different from ordinary magic weapons. He could not understand its structure, and he could not sense the exact source of its power.

"What the hell is this?"

Ethan tightened his grip.

CRACK!

The entire cannon broke apart in his hand.

Pieces of metal and strange parts fell onto the ground.

Ethan looked at the broken weapon for a moment before turning toward the man. The man tried to step back, but Ethan reached out and grabbed his neck.

His fingers tightened.

CRACK!

The man’s neck snapped, and his body went limp.

Ethan released him and turned around.

His eyes immediately fell on Garrick.

Garrick was still standing in the distance with his sword in his hand.

Ethan’s expression became serious.

"You want to fight me seriously right!"

BOOOOM!

The moment his words fell, flames erupted from Ethan’s body.

A powerful aura burst out from him and began to rise rapidly. The flames moved around his body, and the surrounding air trembled under the pressure. His eyes became sharp as the energy inside his body surged without any restraint.

Garrick tightened his grip around his sword.

The serious expression on his face became even deeper.

Ethan raised his sword.

"Let’s go.."

The moment he finished speaking, a powerful force of Chaos gathered around his blade.

The energy twisted around the sword and began to spread through the surrounding space. Ethan’s body moved forward as he unleashed the Chaos Sword Art.

At the same time, Garrick also moved.

His sword erupted with powerful sword energy as he unleashed his own sword art. The two figures rushed toward each other at incredible speed, and their attacks collided in the middle of the city.

BOOOOOOOOM!

The impact created a massive explosion.

A powerful shockwave spread across the Capital, and a large portion of the surrounding city was deflated under the force of the collision. Buildings shook violently, streets cracked and debris was thrown into the air as the two powerful attacks continued to clash.

The golden barrier around the Imperial Palace trembled from the distant impact, but Henna continued maintaining it as the people watched the battle in fear and disbelief.

In the span of a few moments, they clashed several times. Sword arcs flew across the sky, zapping here and there as their swords continued to collide. Each clash created a burst of force that spread through the surrounding air. At the end of the clash, Garrick found himself overwhelmed by Ethan, whose every attack came more fiercely and strongly than before, shaking him to the core.

He was surprised by the kid’s frightening mana. His mana seemed to be vast and immense, and every time Ethan swung his sword, even more power seemed to surge from his body.

’He isn’t even a hundred, so why is he so strong?’

’This is beyond common sense.’

Garrick gritted his teeth as he remembered practicing his swordsmanship for centuries. He had spent countless years sharpening his skills and fighting powerful opponents, yet he was still being overwhelmed by Ethan’s attacks. His hands tightened around the sword as another powerful strike forced him back.

"Tsk..I didn’t want to use this, but it seems I have no way. If I don’t use it, I might lose for real."

As a swordsman, he prided himself on his fight and swordsmanship. Losing and winning were two aspects of the fight, and he had never been afraid of either. But at the current stage, he did not have the leisure to lose. If he fell here, everything they had built would be at risk.

So, he could only rely on external arts now.

Garrick took a deep breath and steadied his body as he looked at Ethan. His expression became firm, and he raised his sword slightly before opening his mouth.

Thinking about this, he roared, "Guards..Lend me a hand."
