Nini looked up and blinked, her flame-like long hair gently swaying behind her snow-white back, and the curiosity and innocence in her golden pupils remained exactly the same as before. "Hmm hmm." She pointed at herself, wagging her little tail and cutely puffing out her small chest.

Though still young, her figure and curves were already reminiscent of Nikopolas.

Over there, Luo Hao turned his head to take another look, only to have Ai Xiaoxiao poke his eyes with two fingers, "Ouch—!" He was caught off guard, suddenly hit, and screamed miserably. "Nini is still a child," Ai Xiaoxiao warned sternly: "Turn around, turn around!"

Luo Hao covered his eyes, tears streaming down his face, shouting aggrievedly: "Damn, I just turned around subconsciously, did you really have to hit so hard?"

Ai Xiaoxiao panicked upon seeing this and quickly said: "Oh, sorry, sorry! I acted impulsively... Luo Hao, are you okay?"

"...Do I look okay to you!?"

"Oh, sorry! Fatty, fatty!"

"What now!"

"S-someone's coming up!" Ai Xiaoxiao shouted in fear.

"Damn," Luo Hao said, speechless, "Tell me where they are!?"

"On the left... No, no, on the right."

"Can you make up your mind?"

But with the sound of a gunshot, the knight climbing up suddenly had his chest armor burst with sparks, and fell backward from the window.

Ai Xiaoxiao gaped at the scene.

Hilveld put away the gun, withdrew the slowly smoking shell casing, letting it clink to the floor. She then turned back, her light blue eyes looking toward Elisa, while Miss Nightingale was sheathing twin blades onto the Magic Guided Reactor on her back, saying: "Letting only Gita and Parker to contain those people isn't too safe. Maybe I can help Luo Yu distract those crossbowmen."

"Is that okay?" Hilveld asked softly.

Elisa looked outside, her black-and-white eyes slightly narrowing like a hunting cat: "How would we know without trying? Didn't the captain often say that there's nothing impossible in this world?"

Hilveld was momentarily stunned upon hearing this, then smiled.

Elisa had already leaped out the window, and the Crow's Claw Knights below noticed and shouted, several crossbow bolts shot in her direction but couldn't reach her, as she turned into a cloud of shadow dust, the bolts passing through like shooting a phantom.

The dust twisted mid-air, falling to the ground. The knights hurried over, but before they could settle, the dust scattered again, seemingly merging into the shadows behind each of them. The knights turned in panic, but the shadow flowed underfoot like water spreading.

"It's a High Rank Shadow Dancer, scatter quickly!"

Someone shouted, trying to locate the shadow's position—yet fruitlessly, the knights retreated in patches but couldn't match Elisa's speed.

Inside the inn, the previously appearing Wind Wall already captured everyone's attention, and now this shadow even more astonished all. They only saw the shadow sweep beneath each knight's foot, like it was given life, swiftly approaching the commander among the crowd.

At that moment, everyone's mouths were agape, realizing what the 'assassin' intended to do.

"Could it be?"

Taking an enemy commander's head amid ten thousand troops, such an act they had only heard of in legends—

Even the commander felt a chilling sensation engulfing him, instinctively drawing his sword, slashing forward as a spark of fire flashed from the shadow—the commander felt his arm go numb, nearly losing grip of his sword.

Is this the strength an ordinary adventurer should possess? Opposed just by a Shadow Dancer, not a Berserker?

Though not a Raven Knight, he was at least a Middle-level Knight, yet the opponent's level clearly surpassed his, considerably higher? Unbothered by the numbed arm, the commander lifted his head, only to see the shadow retreat after a strike, but before he could discern its form clearly, a sudden foreboding arose.

He instinctively sidestepped, when a flash of black pierced his left shoulder. The commander grunted, then a light shout was heard: "Recall!" A flicker, and the dark dagger lodged there flew back to its owner, the commander cried out in pain, kneeling on the ground.

Yet the assassination ultimately failed—

"Failed?"

The adventurers watched this scene with bewilderment.

By now, the knights awoke from their bewilderment and gathered around, only the commander realized something, sweating profusely, lifting his head to see Elisa turn into a cloud of dust again, maneuvering mid-air toward the back.

He felt an ominous premonition, disregarding the pain, sweating profusely as he shouted: "Watch out, protect the crossbowmen!"

But it was too late; the dust reshaped into a human form, Elisa raised her hand mid-air, a shower of dust falling down. The mercenaries were still puzzled, aiming their crossbows, but as the dust fell, they screamed, shutting their eyes tightly, their crossbow bolts falling to the ground.

"It's Flash Dust."

On the rooftop, Parker noted the direction, as he too hailed from Nightingale, naturally aware of such tricks.

"Flash Dust doesn't last long; Miss Elisa is buying us time." Gita took a deep breath, answered.
