Parker let out a light hum, "We don't need her help," he fastened the claw hook to himself, then pulled it to test the strength of the opposite side, and finally turned back to Miss Natural Historian, "Hold on tight, don't fall when we get out. We'll be discovered as soon as we leave, so you'd better make the most of your time."

Gita nodded, replying softly, "I understand."

Parker grasped the pulley, carrying Miss Natural Historian on his back, and then leaped forward with force.

In that instant, almost everyone saw the two appear from the rooftop, then leap towards the building on the other side. "There's someone over there!" The mercenaries, though in chaos, relaxed a bit when they realized it was just Flash Dust. As Gita said, the Flash Dust wouldn't last long. They were merely buying time, and the reason was evident—they had noticed the 'Flying Man' on the rooftop.

"They went to that building," the Commander, clutching his bloody wound, shouted in that direction, "Go catch them!"

In the corridor, Luo Yu watched Parker and Gita disappear behind the rooftop in another direction, then turned around.

But as soon as he turned, he saw the two people who appeared behind him, and he was stunned for a moment—it was none other than his parents.

"Dad, Mom..." Luo Yu muttered dryly.

His mother looked at him with a stern gaze, "Xiaoyu, are you going down?"

Luo Yu looked out the window and nodded silently.

He opened his mouth, but facing his mother's sternness, he still didn't know how to explain it. After all, he had promised them to find a way to gain the qualifications to go to the Second World.

But what they were doing now clearly didn't seem like efforts in that direction. Opposing the Crow's Claw Sanctuary would inevitably give the Alliance more excuses, tightening the restrictions on the Seven Seas Travel Group.

But that didn't mean he thought what everyone was doing was wrong.

Was gaining the qualifications to go to the Second World so important?

Even more important than distinguishing right from wrong?

His heart felt a bit pained, although from the beginning, he understood the expectations his parents had when they sent him to this world.

He always hoped he could live up to those expectations.

But to fulfill these expectations, must he really give up everything?

He looked up at his mother.

Since he was little, his mother had been strict with him, always stubbornly insisting on her opinion and rarely making mistakes.

In his heart, he was somewhat afraid of her, but at this moment, Luo Yu couldn't help but clench his fist. His teammates were fighting below, no matter what, he wouldn't stay in this place alone, even if he had to risk defying her.

To Luo Yu's surprise, though, the stern look on his mother's face gradually faded, leaving her silently watching him.

He was dazed for a moment when his father reached out and patted him on the shoulder, "Go on, after all, they're your teammates—"

Luo Yu was slightly stunned, looking at both of them in surprise.

His father gave him a look, signaling him to make a decision quickly before she could change her mind.

Luo Yu felt a chill run through his heart, took a deep breath, and quickly nodded. Then, without daring to look at his mother's expression, he walked past them, through the dim corridor, and disappeared at the end of the passage.

Watching him leave, Luo Yu's father turned to his wife, "I thought you'd stop him."

"I'm not that unreasonable," Luo Yu's mother replied, "I gave them time; how they use it is up to them."

"But you know, the Alliance..."

"What do you take me for," Luo Yu's mother showed a hint of displeasure, "We are also people from Tabopolis, and to us, the Alliance is something we could take or leave—"

"Then why?"

She sighed, suddenly asking, "Did you notice how Xiaoyu was casting spells earlier?"

"Why?"

"Do you remember that I'm also an Elementalist?"

At the moment Elisa landed, Luo Yu was also pushing the door open.

Elisa turned back and smiled at him, "I thought you weren't coming down."

"How could I not?" Luo Yu shook his head.

"That's hard to say," Elisa looked forward, "Parker took Gita to prepare the spell from the back, I need to find a way to hold them off, you have to cast spells to cover me."

"How to cover?" Luo Yu asked.

"Simple," Elisa pointed not far away, "See those priests? Just don't let them cast spells."

Luo Yu was silent for a moment, then nodded.

"No problem."

"So confident?" Elisa looked at him with some surprise; this was not the Luo Yu she remembered.

But Luo Yu gently gripped his magic wand, understanding why he stood there, no matter what, he at least had to give it a try.

"Someone once told me something..." he said softly.

"What was it?" Elisa asked, taking out a dagger from behind her.

Luo Yu did not answer, that person didn't just say that to him, actually, they also said it to Gita.

"Magic isn't simple—"

When Luo Yu appeared, the knights recognized his identity just by his attire. "It's that Elementalist!" The priests under the Lord of Storm quickly surrounded him; Luo Yu's earlier display had commanded respect, and in Eteliria, the best way to deal with spellcasters was obviously with other spellcasters.
