Pregnant Cultivator, Doted by Big Boss
Chapter 675 - 673: Her Identity
Chapter 675: Chapter 673: Her Identity
Hearing this, Javier Sinclair held her and said softly, "My dear, you’re so good to me." ’The mother of my children truly loves me. She even kept my beloved bed for me.’
Celeste Grant chuckled lightly.
"I’m glad you know."
Feeling his hand stroking her hair, Celeste Grant glanced up at him and whispered, "Stop playing with my hair. Let’s sleep." As she spoke, she snuggled back down, resting the side of her head on him.
Javier Sinclair’s hand was now on her waist.
"My dear, you’re going to sleep already?"
"Mhm."
Celeste Grant replied without opening her eyes or lifting her head, "I’m not going to cultivate tonight."
’Speaking of which,’ she thought, ’cultivating feels as easy as drinking water these days. Even if I don’t actively try, my Cultivation level rises steadily. When I’m asleep, my Spirit Root—those flowers—absorbs Spiritual Energy and cultivates all by itself. It feels like I don’t even have to put in any effort. My Cultivation just shoots up on its own.’
’I guess this is what you’d call a cheat code!’
He patted her waist gently, then let his hand rest as he said softly, "By the way, there’s something I haven’t told you yet."
Hearing this, Celeste Grant, who was lying on him with her eyes still closed, asked casually, "What is it?"
Javier Sinclair said, "It’s about your identity."
Huh???
"Identity?"
Celeste Grant murmured, then looked up in confusion. "Wait... you’re talking about me?"
She blinked, looking at him.
"What other identity could I possibly have? That’s impossible!"
’I clearly remember I was just an ordinary person,’ she thought. ’I complained about an author and ended up transmigrating into a book as the villainous side character. Then I met Javier Sinclair and embarked on a fantastical journey of Cultivation. I even found out that The Cultivation World itself was created just for me.’
’My own experiences have certainly been fantastical, but to say I have some other identity? That feels completely impossible.’
’I mean, I’m from Earth, and so were my birth parents. They disappeared when I was very young, but even so, there’s no way I could have some other identity.’
’My birth parents were just ordinary people.’
But seeing the serious look on his face made Celeste Grant waver. "Don’t tell me... I really do have some identity that even I don’t know about?"
Javier Sinclair glanced at her and hummed in affirmation. "Mhm. Celeste, you are no ordinary person. You never have been."
Celeste Grant blinked, then sat up and moved to his side. She placed her hands on her lap and looked at him.
"Quick, spill the details."
"Let me see what it’s like to get the tea on myself."
Seeing her expression, so ready for gossip, Javier Sinclair paused for a moment, then couldn’t help but chuckle. Her reaction, her demeanor—it was as if she didn’t care about this supposed identity at all. And she truly didn’t; her eyes held only pure curiosity and excitement.
"Alright."
Javier Sinclair sat up in bed to face her.
"Celeste Grant, you were never an ordinary person, not from the very beginning."
Meeting his serious gaze, Celeste Grant raised an eyebrow slightly. "Really? Then tell me. I’m quite curious."
Javier Sinclair nodded slightly and said softly, "I noticed long ago that there was something different about you. An unknown energy lies hidden within your body. At first, I wasn’t sure what it was, but I finally figured it out a few days ago. That mysterious power inside you is the Power of Space-Time Law."
The moment he finished speaking, Celeste Grant’s eyes went wide.
She lifted her hands, her gaze falling upon them. "You’re saying the power inside my body is the Power of Space-Time Law? Oh my god, are you for real?"
Javier Sinclair nodded slightly.
"It’s true. I’ve already investigated it."
He continued, "It’s an Ancient Divine Power. This power comes from a bloodline inheritance; it’s something you were born with. Generally, this kind of innate power originates from the Ancient Times, which means you are no ordinary person."
At this, Celeste Grant grew even more confused.
She rubbed her head, her expression conflicted.
"Power of Space-Time Law, Ancient Times, bloodline inheritance... this is all making my head spin. Especially the bloodline inheritance part. Good heavens! My birth parents... weren’t they just ordinary people?"
She pressed her fingers to her forehead and murmured, "This is giving me a headache. It’s so strange... what on earth is going on?"
Seeing her conflicted and confused expression, Javier Sinclair reached out and patted her shoulder gently. He said softly, "My dear, don’t overthink it. I’m only telling you this so you have a better understanding of your own identity. You just need to know that no matter who you are, it doesn’t change a thing. You are my wife, and you are Annie and Ellie’s mother. That is all that matters."
His voice was very soothing. Celeste Grant looked up at him and calmed down. ’He’s right,’ she thought. ’If I can’t figure it out, then I’ll just let it go. It’s not that important anyway.’
At this thought, she smiled faintly.
"Mhm, you’re right." As she spoke, she leaned forward into his embrace, wrapping her arms around his waist. "Whatever my identity is, all of that is intangible. Only you are real. You and our children. As long as our family can be together, that’s the greatest happiness there is."
Javier Sinclair nodded lightly and hugged her back.
The two embraced for a moment.
Celeste Grant pulled back from his embrace and said with an amazed laugh, "Speaking of which, I really wouldn’t have known if you hadn’t told me. I can’t believe my body is hiding this kind of power."
Her face was full of wonder, and she couldn’t help but laugh. "The Power of Space-Time Law... so the power hidden in my body is the power of space and time. That must be why I was able to travel through space and time. Like that time I saw you in the Mysterious Ancient Mirror and, without any warning, went directly to The Demon Realm and met you."
Javier Sinclair nodded slightly.
"Mhm, that’s right," he said, his hand lightly wrapping around her waist. "It was then that I sensed an unknown power hidden within you, faint and almost imperceptible."
Celeste Grant looked at her own hands.
"So I possess the Power of Space-Time Law, but I don’t know how to use it. It feels like it’s there one moment and gone the next, as if the power is very weak. Could it be that the Divine Power has weakened by the time it was passed down to my generation?"
Javier Sinclair shook his head slightly.
"It hasn’t weakened. It’s been sealed."
Celeste Grant looked confused.
"A Seal? There’s a Seal in my body? I’ve never felt it. My Cultivation has been completely normal, without any obstacles."
He explained, "This is a very ancient Sealing Technique that only seals the inherited power within your bloodline. Not only that, but this Magic could only have been cast by one of your blood relatives. Because I had never seen it before, I overlooked it."
