Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap
Chapter 1579: I’m Not the Least Bit Wronged Being with You
Anthony’s change not only puzzled Thomas Fisher but also left Alice Turner baffled.
While they were having dinner, he wasn’t like that. It only took one phone call for him to become like this.
Could it be that he heard her talking to her mother-in-law just now?
It must be that; she couldn’t think of any other reasonable explanation.
"I’m not at all wronged being with you, but you, you’re the one in a difficult position."
Between her and his mom, the most challenging and difficult person has always been him.
Alice Turner walked over to Thomas Fisher, hooked her arm around his, displaying a demure, feminine demeanor, completely devoid of her usual tough-woman stance.
Thomas Fisher raised his other hand, holding Alice Turner’s hand that was hooked around his arm, smoothing out the less serious smile on his face, and earnestly told her, "Alice! I’m very happy and content being with you. Stop overthinking."
His mom really called quickly. So quick, he was speechless.
"I’m also very happy and content being with you." Alice Turner smiled gently, her gaze as tender as could be.
Seeing how happy and joyful the two were, Anthony couldn’t help but tease them, "Tsk, tsk, tsk! You two are grinning way too much! I’ve got goosebumps."
"Get out of here!"
"Get out of here!"
Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher laughingly scolded in unison.
Anthony clicked his tongue again, "Tsk, tsk, tsk! You’re not even married yet, and you’re already so united against the world. It’s true what they say, a girl shouldn’t be kept once she’s grown."
After clicking his tongue, he shook his head at his sister, with a pitiful, abandoned expression on his face.
"Rosie! Evie! When you grow up, don’t follow your aunt’s example and side with outsiders." Anthony turned to look at Rosie and Evie as he started lecturing the adorable girls using Alice Turner as an example.
"Uncle Jacob! What’s ’siding with outsiders’?" Rosie asked, twisting her arm, "Is it like this?"
"Haha... Rosie! You’re too cute."
Seeing Rosie’s innocent demeanor, Anthony burst into hearty laughter, his arms wide open.
Rosie blinked her big eyes at the laughing Anthony, not understanding what he found so funny.
Evie, with equally pretty big eyes as Rosie’s, looked at the laughing Anthony, but unlike her sister, she pouted, "Uncle Jacob! If my sister’s cute, then am I not cute?"
"You’re both adorable; you two sisters are equally cute." Anthony hugged the sisters and took them to the living room, without addressing anyone else present.
"Sis! Brother-in-law! Keep up the good work!"
Lily Turner made a cheering gesture to Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher before they could respond. She turned back to the dining room, where guests were still present; she couldn’t leave them alone.
"Lily..."
Alice Turner lifted her foot to follow, but Thomas Fisher pulled her back, "Let’s get our marriage certificate tomorrow."
They were planning to get it after coming back from the Derry Kingdom, but since they weren’t going there tomorrow, he decided to advance the date.
He had planned to do this after returning from the Derry Kingdom, but given today’s situation, he thought it was a great opportunity.
At this very moment, he felt particularly grateful to Anthony.
