Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap

Chapter 1581: That Would Be Perfect

  • Next Chapter

Upon hearing Lily Turner’s question, Thomas Fisher suddenly looked up and glanced at his future sister-in-law, "Once we’ve got the Marriage Certificate, we’ll start planning the wedding."

His sister-in-law was truly impressive; he would have to treat her to a lavish meal one day.

But he couldn’t just treat his sister-in-law, or his big brother would definitely give him a hard time. Better to invite the whole family of five instead.

"Sis-in-law! You have experience in this area, could you give me some advice?" Thomas asked humbly for suggestions.

This put Lily Turner in a difficult spot; five years ago, the wedding was entirely organized by Easton Holmes, and she hadn’t done much at all, leaving her unsure of what advice to give.

At that moment, Easton Holmes appeared at the dining room entrance. Seeing her husband back, Lily looked as if she’d seen a savior, waving her hand at him, "Honey! Hurry over here and help out."

"Hmm?"

Easton glanced at Lily, then quickly directed his gaze towards Thomas Fisher, full of doubt and displeasure, as if to say, it’s you again causing trouble, let’s see how I’ll deal with you later.

Thomas Fisher felt uneasy, whether from his own guilty conscience or the oppressive gaze of his big brother, he shivered all over as Easton stared at him, "Big brother! I haven’t upset your wife."

Earlier he was comfortable calling her sister-in-law, but in front of his big brother, he really couldn’t muster the nerve.

"Brother-in-law hasn’t upset me, don’t look at brother-in-law like that."

Lily reached out and pulled Easton Holmes into the empty seat next to her, taking the opportunity to grab his arm, signaling him to stop intimidating others, "Brother-in-law wants to host a wedding with my sister, and he’s looking for advice from me. But I don’t know a thing, unlike you, you have experience."

He has experience?

That sounded odd, as if he’d been married several times, hence he had so much experience.

Easton cast a cool glance at his wife, then shifted his gaze to Thomas Fisher, "Aren’t you quite knowledgeable on this subject yourself, so why seek advice from us now?"

"Not at all! I haven’t been married yet."

Thomas quickly retorted, fearing that a slow response might lead Alice Turner to misunderstand.

Easton wanted to say something but just as he was about to speak, he felt his wife tugging on his arm again, causing his words to change instantly, "When do you plan to hold the wedding? Congratulations in advance."

"Thanks, big brother! Remember to give me a big red envelope, that’ll make it perfect." Thinking of getting the certificate with Alice Turner tomorrow, Thomas was particularly happy and excited, much more lively than before, even mimicking a TV host’s perfect gesture.

Before Easton could speak, Lily half-jokingly and half-seriously said, "The big red envelope is a must, but if you dare bully my sister in the future, your big brother and I definitely won’t let you off."

Her sister is such a strong character, she surely won’t be bullied, not to mention her brother-in-law wouldn’t bear to bully her sister.

"In our family, only your sister will be the one bullying me, I promise not to resist or fight back," Thomas Fisher raised his hand holding chopsticks, making a vow.

Upon these words, Lily immediately turned to the man seated beside her, "Easton Holmes! Did you hear what brother-in-law said? Only my sister bullies him, but you..."

Pausing, she continued, "You should learn from brother-in-law."
