Chapter 162: We Want To See Her

"What are you planning to buy?" Liam asked as they headed towards the Academy’s Resource Department.

William stroked the Azure Tear Pendant he was wearing and answered.

"Some Aether Energy Stones and a few other things that are helpful for breaking through to Star Commander."

Liam and Alicia were not surprised that William was already planning to break through to the Star Commander level.

The most difficult thing about breaking through to Star Commander was controlling your Aether Energy.

And both of them knew his control over it was already top-notch.

Liam looked at the Azure Tear he was wearing and asked.

"Should I buy one as well?"

William shook his head. "Leave it. This thing is only useful in the Star Warrior Realm. Once I break through to the Star Commander level, you can have mine."

"OH!" Liam nodded and didn’t insist on buying a new one, as even though he now had over one thousand credits, he didn’t want to waste them on useless things.

"Buy the Deep Focus skill that Professor Norman suggested to you during your Trait assessment. Also, you did not use that Skill Evolution Stone, right?"

Liam nodded at William’s question. "Yes, I have been saving it since you told me to use it on Deep Focus."

He paused before asking in a doubtful voice. "Are you sure I should use that Evolution Stone on Deep Focus instead of Point Break? I feel like if I evolve Point Break, my attack power will increase by manifolds."

William shook his head and spoke seriously.

"Don’t just focus on raw attack power. Even if you evolve Point Break, you won’t be able to use a Rank Two attack skill many times because of your low level. But Deep Focus is different..." He looked at him and explained.

"Not only will Deep Focus help you in controlling your Trait, but you can use it to improve your control over Aether Energy as well. The combined effect of this skill with your Trait will produce a very high result."

Liam’s eyes lit up when he heard William’s words.

"You are right. I never thought about using this skill to improve my control over Aether Energy."

"What about me..." Alicia suddenly asked. "What should I buy?"

William looked at her helplessly.

"Miss Rich Young Lady, I don’t think I am in a position to give you any advice. If I am not wrong, your family must have already provided you with a stable plan for your future growth, right?"

Alicia was dissatisfied with his answer.

"So what? They just told me a few things that are common knowledge among nobles. Tell me something good. Something that will increase my control of Aether Energy to your level as well."

William rolled his eyes at her words and didn’t bother with her.

Soon, they reached the Academy’s Resource Department.

It was also a building, located not far away from the Rift Centre where all the Academy’s Astral Rifts were located.

The three of them went inside, and after around twenty minutes, they came out with the things they needed.

’Two hundred credits gone just like that...’ William clicked his tongue at his own extravagance.

Other than buying fifty Astral Stones using fifty credits for Azure Tear, William bought two pills as well.

One was a Condensation Pill that cost one hundred credits, while the other was a Sea Ember Pill that costed fifty credits.

Both of these pills were helpful in condensing his Aether Energy into liquid.

Combined with the Aether Stones used with the Azure Tear, he had enough confidence to break through to the Star Commander level in the next ten days.

’If I had this kind of speed in the original timeline...’ William shook his head and sighed inwardly.

Liam only bought the Deep Focus skill, as he didn’t need anything else for now.

His main focus now was to change his cultivation technique into the one William had given him.

As for Alicia, William didn’t bother to ask her, as he knew this rich lady most likely just bought something because she came here.

After all, he was sure that she already had everything that she needed.

"Let’s go back." Once he got everything, William said to Liam.

Hearing him, Alicia’s eyes widened.

"You are going back just like this?"

William was startled by her words and looked at her in confusion, wondering what else she wanted.

Seeing her reaction, Liam seemed to think of something and looked away guiltily.

"Don’t you have anything to say?" Alicia asked William.

William looked at her in confusion and thought for a few seconds. But even after racking his brain, he didn’t remember anything, so he shook his head.

"Wow, you are really planning to ignore the fact that you suddenly got married. What about the marriage party? When are you planning to throw it?"

"Marriage Party?" William was taken aback by Alicia’s words and immediately understood everything.

He looked at Liam, who had a guilty look on his face, and his eyes twitched.

’Damn it, I spoke to him about it only because I wanted to give him that technique. But I didn’t expect him to acquire the women’s Trait and spill everything without holding back.’

Cough.

Liam coughed upon seeing William looking at him and spoke righteously.

"What are you looking at? Don’t tell me you were planning to hide sister-in-law for the rest of your life?" Liam’s face turned extremely serious at this point.

"As your good brother, I am firmly against it. I can’t allow you to keep her hidden and not give her her righteous position."

William’s mouth twitched upon hearing Liam’s words.

’I am damn sure you are speaking so in her favor because I told you that technique was a gift from her.’

He shook his head and asked.

"What do you guys want?"

Alicia’s eyes immediately lit up upon hearing William.

"We want to meet her. Let us see what our sister-in-law looks like."

William looked at their expectant expressions and, after thinking for a moment, nodded.

"Alright, come with me."
