Chapter 163: He Is My Husband (Part 1)

William led Liam and Alicia out of the academy.

"That senior doesn’t live in the academy?" Alicia asked in confusion.

"She has many properties in the City of Vance..." William answered casually. "Sometimes she lives in the academy, while sometimes she stays at her other properties."

Liam and Alicia’s mouths twitched at William’s words.

"Looks like this wife of yours is filthy rich..." Alicia muttered under her breath. "But it’s understandable. If she wasn’t so rich, how could she have given you a Soul Armament and so many battle arts and skills?"

Hearing Alicia, William recalled Vivian’s financial situation, and his face turned a bit strange.

Soon, they boarded the carriage, and William told the driver about the location they wanted to go.

While the carriage was moving, Liam thought of something.

"By the way, there is this Heavenly Ranking in the academy for all the students from first year to fourth year. Do you guys have any plans to try it..." He asked. "I heard that all the top fifty students on the ranking receive rewards according to their ranking."

"I don’t plan to participate this month..." Alicia shook her head. "But I will try it next month."

Hearing Alicia’s reply, Liam looked at William.

"I will give it a try around the end of the month," William said calmly. "Anyway, the rewards are decided by your ranking at the end of the month. Whether I try it now or later on, it wouldn’t affect anything."

"With your strength, I don’t think you will have any problem taking first place among the first-year Heavenly Ranking," Alicia said with a chuckle. William listened to Liam and Alicia’s conversation and looked out of the carriage window, thinking about the trial of creating a faction and securing places in the Heavenly Rankings.

’With my current strength, taking first place in the first-year Heavenly Ranking is a sure thing. What I need to think about is how to let two more members of my faction take spots in the top ten of the rankings.’

He glanced at Liam from the corner of his eyes, and his eyes flickered slightly.

William thought about the other people he knew and wondered whom he should focus on. Someone who could secure a place in the top ten along with Liam.

The person needed to be someone from his faction. Although Alicia was on good terms with them, it was impossible for her to join their faction.

If she ever decided to join a faction, she would undoubtedly join her brother’s faction, as it was the best choice for her in every way.

’Sophia and Brown are good choices to focus on, but both of them are not suitable for combat...’ William tapped his finger against the side of the carriage, looking thoughtful.

Suddenly, he thought about the leg pendant he had met earlier.
