Chapter 1449: Chapter 1449: Turning the Tables

Charles Seymour was busy proving himself to be a reliable man at the company, while Sophie Wilson was lazily waking up at home, then going to have brunch.

Baby was sent to Clarissa Taylor’s house early in the morning, and after Sophie Wilson leisurely finished her meal, she pondered whether to play computer games or continue lounging in bed, when the Dean called.

"Hello, Dean, what’s up?" Sophie Wilson answered the phone, asking curiously.

"Boss, have you returned from your trip?" the Dean inquired.

"Just got back," Sophie Wilson replied with a smile, "you really called at the perfect time. If it were a day earlier, I wouldn’t have been back yet."

"Boss, the Chapman Family’s hospital has improved again." The Dean started, causing Sophie Wilson to pause for a moment, "What? Do they have good doctors now?"

"Which doctor would choose their hospital over ours?" Sophie Wilson asked incredulously.

It makes no sense, her hospital has so much medical expertise exchange, and both software and hardware are the best, incomparable to the Chapman Family.

"It’s not about the doctors, it’s their agency for an imported medicine." The Dean said helplessly, "That medicine is expensive but has special effects in treatment, for example in..."

The Dean rattled off a bunch of technical terms, making Sophie Wilson utterly confused, so she promptly stopped him: "Hold on, skip the professional stuff; I don’t understand."

"So basically, because the Chapman Family hospital has that imported medicine, many patients have gone to their hospital, right?" Sophie Wilson summarized.

"That’s right," the Dean said.

"Then we can’t just sit idle, let’s import that medicine too. We aren’t short on money!" Sophie Wilson said arrogantly.

Her family’s Mr. Seymour was such a money-making machine, even if she spent all the money in her hands, he could continuously replenish it.

Even if it means throwing money, she could utterly crush the Chapman Family!

"The key is, we haven’t been able to secure the agency from that side," the Dean said helplessly.

"Wow, are there people who don’t want money?" Sophie Wilson asked in surprise, this was indeed new.

"Email me their information," Sophie Wilson said, then hung up the phone.

The Dean was quick to act, as soon as Sophie Wilson hung up, she received the email.

After carefully looking over it, Sophie Wilson found nothing particularly strange.

She couldn’t believe someone would refuse money.

Is that a joke?

If they’re really so noble and don’t want money, then don’t bother setting up an agency.

Sophie Wilson quickly prepared herself, tidied up, and drove straight to the imported medicine’s agency company.

It was clear they planned to go big, securing the national agency rights and setting up the agency in the Imperial City.

If they hadn’t granted her hospital the rights, it was likely they wanted to continue negotiating the price.

In such cases, it’s better for her to negotiate directly; sometimes prices are too outrageous for the Dean to make a decision.

Arriving at the agency company, Sophie Wilson surveyed their environment. According to the Dean’s information, this company used to handle some drug agency jobs but was never particularly famous; securing the national agency rights for the imported medicine had boosted their reputation.

It’s said they might have acquired other imported medicine agencies too, but they haven’t widely promoted them yet.
