"How about we buy something else for you?" Han Yong could not help but suggest hurriedly when he heard Han Ruochen say alright. His sister was such a doting fool; she said ’alright’ so easily! Where would they get the money from? They did not even have enough money to repay the colleagues of their father. "We can always buy you a bicycle; it will help you go to school and come back home. You can also show off in front of your friends, but if you buy a bike, then it will stay at home, and you will not get to use it." Han Yong was worried that Han Ruochen would push herself too much.

Sure, her luck was good when it came to fishing, but going to the sea was not an easy task. What if she gets injured? Or lost? Going to the sea was no joke! That was a dangerous place that had swallowed countless men alive.

Han Jianyou was shaken when he heard about the bicycle; honestly, he wanted to buy one as well because he was the only one who had no bicycle at school. Everyone else had one. However, he quickly came back to his senses. It was better to buy a bike. It could come in handy when there was an emergency at home. His father was now a sick man and he, as his son, could not ignore him.

He thought of his father, who was abandoned by their mother at the hospital without a single worry in her heart other than money. When he thought of his father’s frail and sickly pallor, he could not understand why his mother ignored him in such a manner. His deskmate told him that his father also met with an accident, and it was all thanks to their family having a bike that they were able to take him to the county. If they didn’t have a vehicle, then he would be without a father.

Han Jianyou was also scared silly after what happened to his father. His father might be absent, but his presence was still important in their family. If something happened to his dad, then his mother would turn the entire house upside down! His sister was still unmarried, and he and Han Beijiang were still young.

Just look at what his mother did when his father was in hospital and his sister was at sea. She actually pulled Han Beijiang out of the special school! Knowing how crazy his mother could be when it came to money, he did not dare to even think about living a life where his father was not present.

What was more, his sister went to the sea— what if something happened to her one day?

"No, I want a bike!" He would rather pick something that could help the entire family rather than act selfishly. "Father is sick, and sister goes to the sea every now and then; a bike can come in handy when things get worse."

Realising that he was doing it for their family, even if Han Yong did not want to agree with him, he could only grit his teeth and say, "Okay, since you two have made up your mind, I can arrange a second-hand car. Let’s go take a look, and then we can check out which second-hand car we can afford."

Hearing this, Han Jianyou’s eyes brightened. He thought that they would be buying a bike, but now that his brother said that they could buy a second-hand car, he was filled with excitement. He turned to look at his sister.

Seeing his excitement, Han Ruochen could no longer say no. she said to him, "Okay, when you come back home on this weekend, then I will take you to the county and we can browse some second hand cars."

"Sister is the best!"

When Han Yong heard his words, he could not help but roll his eyes. He ruffled Han Jianyou’s hair and could not help but remark, "Why only sister? What about me? Your brother. I also helped you, didn’t I?"

The three of them were truly happy; even Han Xuehan was quite happy when she saw Han Jianyou’s result, but neither of them was aware that they would end up receiving another bad news the next morning.

The next morning, Han Jianyou’s teacher called him to the office early in the morning.

"Jianyou, good students cannot lie, right?" Teacher Xu asked him very gently.

Although Han Jianyou was a little confused, he still nodded his head firmly. "You are right. My second sister often says that one should not lie because a lie cannot take us too far, and it will come out in the light sooner or later."

"Then can you tell me why you cheated in exams?" Teacher Xu asked very gently while ignoring the grimace that Teacher Jiang gave him.

When Han Jianyou heard what his teacher had said, the smile on his lips could not help but freeze. However, he soon understood what was going on. The last exam was too easy, and many of the questions were a repeat of the past year; as long as one read the old question papers, they would be able to pass the exam with a good score. But these exams were different. They were more difficult and tricky. Only good students would be able to pass the exams.

This meant that the teachers doubted his abilities. They thought that if he did not cheat, then he would not be able to get his current rank.

The teachers actually looked down on him. A stuffy feeling started to spread all across his chest that made him not want to speak. He lowered his head and felt that his eyes were a little swollen and a little sore. To think that after working so hard, he was actually questioned like a cheater. He had been working hard for more than two months for these exams —this was not what he deserved!
