Chapter 1410 -1510: Just Ran Off with Someone Like That

She kept thinking about him all the time, even when she was eating.

She didn’t even know when she became like this.

Unknowingly, she fell deeply in love with Adrian Walyon.

Watt Bennet’s gaze slowly shifted downwards, fixedly staring at her face as if trying to discern the truth of her words.

As he continued to look, his gaze gradually softened.

No matter if Summer Sutton’s words were simply meant to soothe him or were genuine, they pleased him.

Summer Sutton’s goal was achieved!

Watt Bennet felt helpless towards her, pressing on her hand that was still wrapped around his neck, he emphasized, “From now on, if you have plans with friends, let me know ahead of time, okay?”

“I suddenly ran into him on the road, so we just grabbed some food together.” Summer Sutton didn’t dare to mention that it was Manuel Ink and only slightly defended herself.

Watt Bennet’s face, which had just begun to soften, suddenly stiffened again.

She just ran off with someone after unexpectedly bumping into them?

What kind of person would make her abandon him for the sake of the other?

His quick change in expression was slightly beyond Summer Sutton’s expectations.

Summer Sutton only predicted that he would be sitting on the sofa waiting to question her when she returned but didn’t anticipate that a random remark would cause trouble.

Things developed in a way that Summer Sutton found hard to control.

Watt Bennet kept a cold face, his gaze slanted as he stared at her with a somewhat serious expression.

“This was purely accidental, accidental. Next time it won’t happen!” Summer Sutton was afraid of accidentally stepping over the line again, ending the topic, and rushed upstairs, “I’ll shower first!”

Not daring to look back, she ran fast, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Watt Bennet only glared at her bitterly and didn’t follow her upstairs.

After Summer Sutton returned to the bedroom, she locked the door, pulled out a comfortable set of home clothes, and when preparing to shower, looked at the calendar on the table.

Her calendar was marked with numerous circles and dots, recording her special days each month.

Nowadays, Summer Sutton was counting every day, counting the late days of her period.

She was actually looking forward to having Adrian’s child; it was something she owed Adrian.

The last child was lost because of her, a pain for her and for Adrian.

If she and he had another child, there would be fewer regrets.

She put the calendar back in place, quickly finished showering, and when she went downstairs, Watt Bennet was reading a magazine.

Summer Sutton stood on the spiral staircase, quietly gazing at his sculpted profile under the light for a moment before suddenly walking down.

She came to his side, resting a hand on her forehead, and naturally fell into his arms, “Honey, I feel a bit dizzy, carry me upstairs!”

Watt Bennet’s eyebrows slightly raised, surprised by her move.

She deliberately walked down here for him to carry her upstairs?

Watt Bennet instantly understood Summer Sutton’s thoughts, but still stood there with no response.

His demeanor, in turn, stunned Summer Sutton.

She raised her face, cautiously glanced at him, pretending he didn’t get her meaning, Summer Sutton hooked her slender arms around his neck, her body nudged against him, “Adrian…”

Watt Bennet still stood there without any action.

He was watching her, his eyes clear, seemingly tinged with a fleeting hint of mirth.

Even though Summer Sutton urged him both openly and covertly, she couldn’t elicit a response, feeling somewhat awkward and a bit defeated.

“Then I’ll go up by myself!” Wanting to wriggle free from his embrace, Watt Bennet did not show any intention of letting her go.
