Chapter 94 | Fighting Alongside Elite Devil’s Rage Team!

Chapter 94: 94 | Fighting Alongside Elite Devil’s Rage Team!

Golden sunlight filtered through towering trees as fresh wind carried the scent of flowers and grass. Bird-like creatures chirped peacefully somewhere overhead, making the entire place look like paradise.

Yet the expressions of everyone in Devil Rage Team changed immediately as every trace of relaxation in their faces disappeared. Their faces became serious, professional, and ready for battle.

Andrew noticed the shift right away. Unlike before, nobody was joking anymore. He knew the reason why. This was the dimensional zone and one single mistake here could cost lives.

John turned toward Andrew and his voice became firm. "Stay alert."

Andrew nodded. Fortunately, he had already prepared beforehand. Back at the restaurant, he had equipped all his combat gear. The Black Iron Combat Suit was fitted tightly beneath his academy clothes, hugging his body like a second skin.

The Pistol rested securely in the holster on his right waist. The Black Iron Sword sat sheathed on his left side, positioned for quick drawing at any moment. He had made sure everything was ready before entering. No wasted movement, no wasted time.

John gave another command. "Andrew, stay in the center, everyone else assume Escort-Formation.

[A/N: Sounds dirty, hm?]

Immediately, the team shifted formation.

John moved to the front. Lucy stepped beside him. Michael positioned himself slightly ahead as the main tank.

Behind Andrew, Klen and Jasmine moved into rear support positions as Andrew stood directly in the middle, completely protected.

John spoke while scanning the forest ahead. "This region is considered a high-level hunting zone." Andrew listened carefully.

John’s voice became heavier. "Anything can appear here. The beasts here range from level 10 to 40."

He paused, then added, "Thier are Elites and even Boss grade monsters here too."

Andrew’s eyes narrowed slightly.

John continued walking slowly. "So stay sharp. We do not know what may suddenly appear."

The team moved carefully through the forest. Their footsteps became nearly silent and nobody spoke.

Andrew himself remained calm. Unlike the others, he wasn’t particularly worried. Right now, his perception had already spread outward.

His Omniscient Perception silently expanded. One kilometer. Two kilometers. Three kilometers. Everything around him entered his awareness. Every movement. Every fluctuation. Every living creature. He could see/hear and even feel them all.

Five lifeforms were nearby, several beasts scattered in different directions. But one stood out, directly ahead.

Andrew suddenly stopped walking. "Wait."

Instantly, all five members froze. Weapons were drawn immediately. John’s eyes sharpened. "What is it?"

Andrew stared toward the northeast. His fake talent, the E-Rank Zoomable Eyes, activated. At least, that was what everyone thought. He narrowed his eyes, then spoke calmly. "There’s a beast ahead."

Everyone focused immediately. Andrew pointed toward a section of dense trees. "Two hundred meters."

John’s expression hardened. "What level?"

Andrew focused briefly, then answered. "Level twenty-nine."

Silence.

Andrew continued. Then he identified it. "An Iron Fang Rabbit."

The moment he said those words, the eyes of Devil Rage Team immediately brightened. Michael grinned. "Perfect."

Lucy slowly unsheathed her blade. Jasmine cracked her knuckles excitedly. Even Klen adjusted his glasses seriously.

John immediately raised a hand. "Careful." Everyone stopped moving. John’s voice became low. "It might not be alone." He turned toward Andrew. "Check the surroundings."

Andrew expanded his perception once more. Within three kilometers, he sensed five monsters scattered in different directions.

But within one kilometer, only one presence existed. No hidden beasts, no additional monsters, and no rabbit pack nearby.

Andrew nodded. "It’s alone."

John relaxed slightly.

" Good." Then he smiled.

"Perfect test subject." He looked at everyone. "Remember," his voice became firm, "we are here partly to train Andrew."

He glanced at the team seriously. "So nobody acts independently. No reckless behavior. We move as a unit. We attack as a unit. We maintain formation."

The others nodded immediately.

John gave the final order. "Move."

The six of them began advancing slowly, step by step until finally, they saw it.

The beast stood in a small clearing, locking it’s fur lit it’s massive tongue.

Everyone’s eyes lit up when they saw it.

The beast was massive, far larger than any ordinary rabbit and instead it was nearly half the size of a small horse.

Its body was covered in dark metallic gray fur with powerful muscles bulging beneath its skin.

Its ears stretched nearly a meter upward and small black horns protruded from its forehead.

However, the most terrifying feature were its front teeth, two enormous curved metallic fangs, sharp like blades. The fangs gleamed under the sunlight like polished steel.

John narrowed his eyes. "A Level 29 Iron Fang Rabbit."

Michael grinned greedily. "That thing sells for a fortune."

The others nodded in agreement.

Jasmine smiled. "Nice first hunt."

But suddenly, the rabbit’s ears twitched. Left, then right. It had sensed something. Its muscles tensed slightly.

John’s eyes sharpened instantly. He raised two fingers, then gave a silent command. "Klen."

Immediately, Klen stepped forward. His glasses glowed faintly. He stretched both hands outward, and his voice became cold. "Spell Fusion Sequence..."

A massive magical circle suddenly formed before him. Intricate blue symbols rotated rapidly in the air as mana formed and energy surged violently. The others immediately tensed.

Klen’s eyes flashed. "Lightning Bind."

A bolt of lightning exploded from the magic circle.

"Crackle!"

It crossed nearly a 50 meters instantly and struck the rabbit directly.

"Bang!"

The Iron Fang Rabbit convulsed violently as electricity surged through its body. Its muscles froze and it’s entire body stiffened completely for a second.

It was in a stunned state.

John’s eyes flashed. "NOW!"

The moment he shouted, everything exploded into motion.

John disappeared first as the ground beneath his feet shattered. He crossed 50 meters in record breaking speed, turning into a blur that shattered the wind.

Lucy moved simultaneously beside him moving with the same speed.

Michael charged directly from the front like a moving tank and Jasmine leaped into the air. Klen began preparing another spell. Andrew reacted instantly too, sword drawn.

The six of them converged on the stunned beast at once.

In 0.3 seconds, they were all on the beast.

"Slash!"

John’s blade flashed first, slashing a deep wound across the rabbit’s neck.

Lucy followed. Her sword spun violently, and blood sprayed into the air.

Michael roared, then slammed his massive gauntlet directly into the beast’s ribs.

Bones cracked instantly.

From the rear, Jasmine crossed over them all as she landed like a meteor with her axe coming down with her.

"Bang!"

The Axe instantly cracked its skull, cashing it to cave in, but they were not done yet.

Klen’s second spell struck immediately after. A fireball exploded against the rabbit’s chest.

Andrew appeared from the side. Without hesitation, he drew his Black Iron Sword and struck cleanly through one of the creature’s hind legs.

The Iron Fang Rabbit finally broke free from paralysis, but it was too late.

The combined assault had completely overwhelmed it. The monster staggered backward. Its eyes trembled and then its massive body collapsed heavily onto the ground.

Silence.

For several seconds, nobody moved.

Then Michael burst into laughter. "Hahaha!"

John slowly lowered his sword. A smile appeared on his face. "Good."

He looked toward Andrew. Their very first hunt together had gone perfectly. And for the first time, Andrew had officially fought alongside a real expedition team.
