Chapter 1049: Clash with a Tier-7 Hard Rock Worm Beast

As he walked through the rocky terrain, he noticed that the ground was wet compared to other places. He used his eye power to observe the terrain.

He found out that this narrow area was kind of shallow and the land was quite sunken. He then started walking faster.

Small- and medium-sized plants filled the place. Some of them were new to him; he was seeing them for the first time.

One type of plant was taller than him. Upon seeing that plant, he was intrigued. He raised his eyebrows and walked up to the plant.

He used his second eye power and confirmed that it was not a plant beast, but a unique plant.

At the same time, Stellaris woke up from her sleep. She immediately sensed the outside surroundings. Jeremy Night had started the mission journey.

She used her consciousness. She saw Jeremy Night was currently staring at the tall plant. She was about to talk. Suddenly, her powerful consciousness picked up something.

There was a large beast coming towards him, and it was an underground-type beast. Stellaris found that the beast was dangerous and large in size.

[Get away from the spot. There is a large beast coming ahead.]

Jeremy Night heard the voice of Stellaris. He immediately used "Explosive Steps" and moved backwards. He then began looking around using the second eye power.

But he didn’t find the beast.

[Find the high ground. It’s not a suitable place for a fight.]

He heard her again. Then she guided him to the high, flat ground. By that time, the large beast entered his vision range.

He quickly turned off the helmet by pressing the button. He put it inside the storage ring and observed the beast using his eye power.

He realized how misinformed Elder John was. It appeared the Elders were really clueless about the ever-changing wilderness.

The ground before him cracked all of a sudden. Debris splattered across the place. Some of it reached sky-high before falling down.

A massive, worm-like creature appeared, its head over 3 meters in height and its length over 15 meters.

It split open the ground surface, and the crack extended further. The head was full of razor-sharp teeth. The teeth were all over 12 inches long.

"Tier-7," Jeremy uttered in shock.

He didn’t expect to come across this massive beast.

Jeremy Night was frozen for a second. He was seeing this weird worm beast for the first time. There was no mucus or slimy liquid covering its body.

The worm beast’s body surface was hardened skin.

[Don’t be afraid. You can injure the beast with my power.]

Jeremy heard Stellaris’ voice. He collected his thoughts and unsheathed the blade. He immediately covered the blade’s edge in starlight power.

Multiple starlight threads were stacked one upon another.

Roooooarrr!

The Tier-7 Worm Beast made a sound. The noise and pressure coming from the beast were no joke. There was still a 100-meter gap between them.

Yet he could feel the mountain of pressure weighing down on him. It was the pressure of a Tier-7 beast. With this pressure, it could command Tier-6 and other lower-tier beasts.

Stellaris saw the beast. She immediately relieved Jeremy Night of the pressure. Jeremy Night felt a cold sensation in his mind and body.

The mountain of pressure weighing down on him was gone all of a sudden. He then collected his thoughts and took the initiative to charge forward.

Jeremy Night used "Explosive Steps." He burst forth with great speed.

The Tier-7 Worm Beast was enraged by the trespassing of a weak human in its territory. It wanted to squash the weak human with pressure.

The pressure struck the ground. Debris and smoke rose from the ground as the shock force rippled through the area.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night saw the pressure striking again. But he was not affected by the impact force and was able to move because of Stellaris.

The Tier-7 Worm Beast had not moved away from the spot, but he was able to reach the side of the Tier-7 beast.

Not only that, his talent was activated upon sensing the danger. His senses were heightened. He could perceive more information through his senses.

Stellaris could not help physically, but she was observing the battle with her consciousness. It was going to be the first battle she would witness between Jeremy Night and a higher tier.

She ignored the vine beasts earlier. Those were not a threat to Jeremy Night.

Jeremy Night was only a few steps away from the beast. He immediately used a blade move.

"Triple Rapid Cuts"

Quick footwork pushed him forward while he swung the blade at the beast.

Slash!

In a flash, the starlight blade struck the hardened skin.

Creak!

The starlight power broke the hard rock skin, and soft flesh appeared. The blade felt no resistance and easily swept inside.

Puckak!

He then made two blade slashes in quick succession. Blood spurted from the open gashes. The three large blade wounds appeared and they stained the ground with blood.

The sudden attack caught the Tier-7 Worm Beast off guard. The beast used an ability. It manipulated the earth.

Boom!

Jeremy Night felt the ground beneath him shaking. The small-sized rocks and stones were vibrating at a high frequency.

Stellaris saw the situation was not good. She warned Jeremy Night:

[The beast is using an ability. Stay away from it.]

He heard Stellaris’ voice again.

Boom!

All of a sudden, the rocks and stones hovered a few inches above the ground. The beast was using its ability.

Seeing that, Jeremy Night was surprised. He didn’t wait any longer. He used the movement method to create a gap.

Boom!

Right then, the stones and rocks came shooting towards him. His eyes and senses caught the information. He immediately raised the flat side of the blade to face the rocks.

He tried to avoid the attacks, but there were too many, and they came too fast.

Boom!

He was hit by one of the large stones, and the impact force rocketed his body backwards.
