Chapter 1360: How To Pretend To Struggle.

Right now, he had eight options for a Domain. They were the three old super worlds, Alpha Peak, Red Sky, Clear Heart, Wandering Thief’s new super world, Thief Haven, and Heavenly Eye’s four large worlds.

So if he wanted to expand his Domain, he would have to visit one of the eight and have a chat with them. But he also had to make sure that home base was secure so that the events of the previous timeline wouldn’t happen again.

His first idea was to secure the Domain on the Blessed Heaven World with celestial gold or divine crystal stolen from Heavenly Eye. But he didn’t want to antagonize her and make the Will of the World drop his Domain early.

The possibility was slim, but he still wanted to prevent it. Especially since he didn’t know why they were all targeting them.

’At the end of the day, I have to rely on myself. If I have to make and give away a Grand Supreme Metac, so be it.’

’In any case, I have to do whatever I plan to do as early as possible. I can already imagine Time Traveler, wherever he is, already telling his brothers and allies about the events of the previous timeline.’

’They are probably already scheming about how to deal with me. My guess is that they will target my avatar first. They will wait for it to descend into the lower realm before jumping on it and disabling the Rewind Metac,’ he thought, sneering at them.

As he plotted and schemed, he had the black Loki create the Rewind Metac. He directed it the whole time so the ignorant clone could achieve the nearly impossible.

Then he helped black Loki convert the Rewind Metac to the Devouring Pathway so that the Metac could be used. He did it manually too.

’Come to think of f it. I was lying when I said my origin talent makes me very intelligent. But I am actually extremely intelligent in the aspect of Metacs, and it has something to do with my origin talent.’

’So I might be on to something,’ he thought, chuckling.

After that, he had black Loki create eight Divine Metacs for the Devouring Pathway. The eight varied in shapes and sizes. But they were all black because of the Devouring Pathway’s law fragments.

He also created eight Divine Positions. They appeared as giant golden crystals the size of mountains.

Or at least, they were as big as mountains in the lower realm. Right now, they didn’t look as big as mountains because they were floating around him and couldn’t compete with his size.

The eight of them compared were not as big as his head. Actually, each one was about the size of his eyes. So, being beside him, it wasn’t obvious that they were as large as mountains.

He took one black Divine Metac and one golden Divine Position and pushed them together. The golden crystal accepted the black, long, rope-like Divine Metac called the Siphon Divine Metac.

He combined the other seven Divine Metacs with a Divine Position. Next, black Loki invested lifespan into the product of the fusion of Divine Positions and Divine Metacs, raising them to Rank 8.

The result was eight complete Rank 8 materials for making a Supreme Metac. Each one would make any Rank 8 cultivator’s mouth water with longing and fall in love because of how beautiful it was.

They would say things like, "I have never seen something as beautiful as you."

And it would be true, not a fake pick-up line they tell every beautiful Rank 8 Divine Position they encounter. It would be true because they’d never seen anything this good before.

Black Loki took the eight materials and melted them into one large golden pool of potential. Then he sifted through the golden pool for commonality.

After a while of searching, he picked commonality based on devouring. It was an inaccurate and vague commonality, but it had the advantage of being common between the eight raw materials, so he was able to achieve a 50% extraction rate with it.

He took the 32 units of commonality he extracted and got to work using it to build a Supreme Metac. The Supreme Metac in question was the Devouring Body Supreme Metac.

He was making the Supreme Metac to make a deal with the Will of the Blessed Heaven World to secure his Domain. This was his plan to keep the rug from being pulled out from under him again.

He couldn’t make Supreme Metacs directly through the spark of power, so he did it the hard way. He also produced a Supreme Metac of the Devouring Pathway as it was more reasonable.

He believed that he had covered all his bases, but the eye watching him wasn’t convinced that there was nothing fishy going on. After all, this was the second time Loki had changed his routines immediately after time was reversed.

If the eye hadn’t witnessed the events of the previous timelines, none of this would be eye-catching. But it had seen Loki lose the Divine Spark and lose his Domain. Now that Loki was doing things he didn’t normally do to prevent them from happening, it had to suspect he remembered the events of a lost timeline.

Either Loki was a secret powerhouse who could use his powerful cultivation to brute-force the memory of lost timelines, had a powerful origin talent that could help him remember events from lost timelines, or someone was secretly informing him of events he should have forgotten.

The eye wasn’t sure which was the reason and could only search for the answer. But it was inclined to believe that the origin talent was responsible.

It didn’t want to believe that Loki was a secret powerhouse or that someone was telling Loki about the events of the lost timeline because, for this to be the case, Loki or the person whispering secrets to him had to be more powerful than it.
