"For Black Chain, all I need to say is to admit he should be our leader and promise to help him become the Domain King. Then, as long as we help him get that Divine Mountain, he will let us work together with him."

"The other Dao Lords have their secret keys to unlock their cooperative spirit too. I used that information to great success in the last timeline."

"I was able to get them to work together without the obvious threat of the Gemini race. He was like a rag doll the way we beat him around. We bombarded Ragnarok from every direction and nearly killed him."

He shook his head as he added, "It was a pity that we missed the Rewind Metac in our plans and almost let him get away. But now that I have more information, we will be able to avoid that mistake."

Wandering Thief sighed in relief upon hearing this and said, "That’s good to hear. With the combination of the threat of their Gemini children and the secret key information to convince them, a coalition force will be easier to form."

"As for our plan, I think that we have to be fast and precise, leaving no room for errors. If Ragnarok can remember the events of the previous timeline, our chances of getting him will slip with each attempt. So we mustn’t make mistakes and learn from them."

"In fact, I believe that this might be our last chance to kill him. Even if it isn’t, we should treat it like our last attempt and make sure that when we make a move, it will be something he doesn’t see coming, and it must strike him down without a way out."

Then they began discussing their strategy to take down Ragnarok once and for all. It started with Time Traveler showing them everything that happened one timeline ago and telling them about the secret information the other Dao Lords told him to use to convince them.

After receiving the secret information, Wandering Thief’s true body in the upper realm moved into action. He tore a hole in the barrier and projected his Divine Spirit into the Blessed Heaven World.

His Divine Spirit delved into the super world’s divine constellation, reaching out to all the Supreme Metacs in it. With his Divine Spirit now in contact with them, he could speak to each of them.

He didn’t dare send an avatar to meet them, as it would be vulnerable to Ragnarok or any Dao Lord who hated him and wanted to kill him. He also didn’t dare to meet Black Chain face to face in the upper realm with his true body.

This method was the safest way he could contact them and communicate with them. The disadvantage was that it made his actions obvious, though.

Just as Ragnarok’s move to give a Supreme Metac to the Will of the Blessed Heaven World couldn’t be hidden from other Dao Lords, his chatting up of Dao Lords was also very obvious.

To hide his motive and avoid making it painfully obvious that they were scheming against Ragnarok, he didn’t leave Ragnarok out and spoke with him, too. Of course, he knew his move would only work if Ragnarok didn’t know what happened in the previous timeline.

If Ragnarok already knew they were enemies, his attempt at subterfuge would only fail. But there was no harm in trying, so he did it anyway.

He said to Loki, "I am building an alliance to deal with Black Chain. Are you interested?"

Loki immediately replied, "Of course, I’m interested."

"It is high time we take down that bully. I have only been a Dao Lord for a short time, but I’m already sick of Black Chain. I’m glad someone is doing something to get rid of him."

Hearing this, Wandering Thief sighed in relief and said, "That’s good to hear. I thought you would be too scared to fight him."

Rolling his eyes, Loki said, "Of course I will be scared if I have to fight him alone. But if I’m working together with a bunch of Dao Lords, what do I have to be afraid of?"

"The only thing I should be afraid of is what we will do after Black Chain is gone. Someone will surely want to fill his shoes, so I expect infighting to ensue after his demise."

Wandering Thief burst into laughter as he said, "You make a good point. But let’s not let the possibility of completion prevent us from getting rid of Black Chain.

We will cross that bridge when we get there. In the meantime, I will keep recruiting more Dao Lords to the cause. When we have enough numbers on our side, I will contact you."

"I wish you good luck," Loki said with a straight face while sneering inwardly.

The two chatted amicably, as if they didn’t want to kill each other. It was a harmonious scene only world-class mortal actors could pull off.

After their discussion, they went their separate ways to plot how to kill each other and carry out those plans. Loki did his part by visiting super worlds and striking deals with their Wills.

As for Wandering Thief, he appeared in the sky above many super worlds and spoke to the Dao Lords in the divine constellation he couldn’t reach before.

Loki sent an avatar openly to the super worlds because he planned to use force to get his way if the negotiation went poorly. On the other hand, Wandering Thief avoided physical confrontation whenever possible.

Either way, their actions made the Sea of Worlds lively for a time. The mortals were the most affected.

Normally, Dao Lords rarely appeared in the lower realm or interacted with it. As a result, most people would never see a Dao Lord in their lives.

In fact, many mortals didn’t know that Dao Lords existed. Usually, it was the Rank 5 cultivators who knew of the existence of Dao Lords behind pathways.
