Chapter 1991: The War God Sings Beautifully

The War God was puzzled: "Awake? What’s wrong, what are you looking at?"

Little Taotie exhaled, "Thank you for not telling him my location."

Little Beast Bai Bai glanced at Little Taotie, licked the fur around her mouth, and didn’t respond. Instead, she clung to the War God’s leg like a leg accessory.

"Did you wait for a long time?" The War God’s voice softened.

Little Taotie whispered in Little Beast Bai Bai’s ear, "He just promised to sing!"

She was asking Little Taotie, but to the War God, it seemed as if she were asking him.

The War God initially hoped to bluff his way through it, thinking maybe she’d forgotten after a nap.

But he didn’t expect her to remember so well even after waking up!

The War God sighed, "Even though I’ve listened to you sing once, I still haven’t learned it."

Little Taotie offered advice from the side, "You sing as much as you remember. Immortals are supposedly very smart, known for remembering things effortlessly."

Little Beast Bai Bai agreed with Little Taotie’s suggestion, believing that the War God surely remembered.

Little Taotie also nodded along.

"Ahem." The War God cleared his throat, showing some difficulty on his face. Under the heavens, probably only the person before him could make him sing.

He gently stroked Little Beast Bai Bai’s head, "Then I’ll start."

The fur atop Little Beast Bai Bai’s head was smoothed out softly, and she shook her fur with frustration. Suddenly she thought she could turn into a very pretty form, her big eyes lighting up, round and shiny black.

The War God prepared his emotions and began: "Twinkle—ah～～～ Twinkle tight and snug, the whole sky shakes～ the smiling stars, melon sweetly placed in space, fragrant coins complete small eyes～～～"

Little Taotie fell silent.

She somewhat forgot the original tune of Little Star, and whether it was light or melon, what was with the country accent?
