Chapter 521: Chapter 485: Revealing Her Parentage

Sun Shuzhen had fought tooth and nail to become Mrs. Su. When she first found out Su Kangcheng was cheating, she was furious and had several huge fights with him.

She only calmed down after Su Kangcheng said, “If you can’t live like this, let’s get a divorce.”

How could she possibly give up her current status to one of those women from the outside?

So, after the heartbreak, she composed herself.

She started secretly transferring Su Kangcheng’s assets and, out of resentment, also began seeing other men.

‘If that Su Kangcheng could betray me, why couldn’t I betray him!’

But the moment she learned Su Kangcheng had a child with someone else, Sun Shuzhen’s defenses completely crumbled.

Su Kangcheng grabbed her hand, his expression ugly.

“Are you insane? Just look at the time and place.”

He threatened Sun Shuzhen, “If you keep causing a scene, you can forget about being Mrs. Su anymore.”

Sun Shuzhen glared at him with hatred.

Su Kangcheng turned to Song Qing, dropping the act of a devoted husband.

“Song Qing, this is our family’s private matter. Isn’t it inappropriate for you to be so involved?”

At worst, he was morally flawed, but as long as…

“Oh, I’m not finished yet.”

Song Qing produced another set of photos, this time of Sun Shuzhen.

“Didn’t I say it already? You’ve both been cheating on each other.”

Sun Shuzhen’s eyes immediately filled with panic and guilt.

Su Kangcheng’s face darkened as he took the photos handed to him by Song Qing’s bodyguard.

He squeezed his eyes shut, not wanting to look.

Song Qing smiled. “Aren’t you going to take a look, Mr. Su?”

Sun Shuzhen lunged to snatch the photos, but her frantic movement sent them scattering all over the floor.

Su Kangcheng glanced over instinctively. Now, he had no choice but to see.

He saw the photos of Sun Shuzhen in intimate contact with a man—and that man was the secretary he trusted most.

In that instant, Su Kangcheng felt a profound sense of betrayal and, completely losing control, slapped Sun Shuzhen across the face.

“You two… Just wonderful!”

He was so furious the words were forced through gritted teeth.

Sun Shuzhen clutched her face.

“What right do you have to blame me? You started it, so don’t blame me for finishing it! What, you think you’re some ancient emperor with a harem of wives and concubines? On what grounds can you betray me, but I can’t betray you!”

Su Kangcheng pointed at her. “You hooking up with my secretary… What’s your endgame?!”

At that moment, panic suddenly set in. Sun Shuzhen getting together with his secretary was definitely not a simple affair.

‘His company… something must have happened.’ he thought.

“You have the nerve to ask me? You have illegitimate sons and daughters!”

Su Nian stood to the side, completely at a loss. Being watched by so many people, she felt both panicked and utterly humiliated.

‘It’s over,’ she thought. ‘After today, how will I ever show my face in our social circle again?’

Meanwhile, Yun Jiao was cracking melon seeds, watching the two of them tear each other apart.

None of the guests had left; they stood at a distance, watching the spectacle.

They had truly never seen a scene like this before.

‘Oho, aren’t these two supposed to be the famously model couple?’

‘The husband cheats, and the wife cheats right back.’

‘This drama is just too good!’

The two were arguing heatedly, but Su Kangcheng, ultimately not wanting to lose face completely, wore a grim expression.

“Shut up! If you want to argue, we’ll do it at home!”

“Everyone, my apologies. I’m afraid I can’t continue to host you today. If you would all please…”

“Not so fast.”

Song Qing cut him off.

“I’m afraid you’ve forgotten, Mr. Su. The matter of Zhiya’s daughter hasn’t been resolved yet.”

She projected a photo of An Zhiya.

“Su Kangcheng, you’re no stranger to this person, I presume.”

“Now look at her. Doesn’t she seem familiar?”

Yun Jiao brushed the melon seed dust from her hands and calmly walked to Song Qing’s side.

Everyone looked at the photo of the woman in the qipao. Even though it was black and white, the woman in the picture, colorless as she was, possessed top-tier bone structure and features, as well as the air of a high-born lady.

Now, with the photo for comparison, Yun Jiao’s face looked even more similar.

“They… they really do look alike. There’s at least a fifty-percent resemblance.”

“My god, so… that young lady is the real daughter of An Zhiya?”

Of course, Su Kangcheng refused to admit it, but inwardly, his heart was in turmoil.

‘No wonder,’ he thought. ‘I always felt that Yun Jiao resembled someone I knew, but I could never put my finger on it.’

‘It was her!’

“What does this prove? It’s a big world; it’s not like people who look alike don’t exist. Besides, if I recall correctly, her hair has been that color since she was a child, right? Zhiya had black hair. How could she possibly give birth to a child with blue hair and eyes?”

The drama-watching crowd turned their gazes back to Song Qing, wanting to see what she would say.

“Who said my sister’s hair has been this color since she was a child?”

A man stepped forward, and everyone’s eyes lit up when they saw him.

“It’s Yun Chen’an!”

Yun Chen’an was well-known in their circles, not just for his acting talent but also for being the second-largest shareholder of the biggest entertainment company at present.

The wives and young ladies of the wealthy elite were practically all his fans.

Right now, all their eyes were shining as they stared at him.

Yun Xiaojiu took out several photos.

“My sister’s hair wasn’t blue from birth; it just slowly turned this color over time.”

The little girl in the photos was delicate and adorable, the kind who would make anyone’s heart fill with joy at a single glance.

“So that’s his sister.”

“Wait, isn’t that his sister?”

“Idiot. Obviously not by blood.”

Song Qing smiled. “Su Kangcheng, surely you don’t actually think of yourself as Zhiya’s husband, do you?”

Hearing this, the crowd realized there was more to the story.

‘Spit it out! We want to hear it!’

Su Kangcheng’s expression, however, turned exceptionally ugly.

“Su Kangcheng, your point about Yun Jiao’s hair is precisely the thing that proves she is Zhiya’s child.”

She clapped her hands, and several bodyguards carried something up—a portrait, veiled by a black cloth.

“The situation was urgent back then, which is why Uncle Fu was in a hurry to find a nominal husband for Zhiya. It was also to have someone manage An Pharmaceutical and take care of Zhiya in the future. But they never imagined they would bring in such an ungrateful wolf.”

However, that situation was nothing compared to the present.

“Uncle Fu treated you well, like his own apprentice. But how did you repay them? You had the gall to swap your own daughter for Zhiya’s and even tampered with their food.”

Su Kangcheng’s eyes were bloodshot. “You’re spouting baseless accusations!”

‘I can’t let her keep talking,’ Su Kangcheng thought, wanting to rush over and snatch the microphone from her hand.

But with Rong Heng protecting her, along with so many bodyguards, he couldn’t get anywhere near Song Qing.

“What’s the matter, getting anxious? Don’t worry. If I dare to say it, you can be sure I have evidence. Today, none of you will escape.”

Her words were like the devil’s whisper, causing Su Kangcheng and Sun Shuzhen’s faces to turn deathly pale.

“Perhaps what everyone doesn’t know is that the heiress of An Pharmaceutical was already pregnant before she married Su Kangcheng.”

This was something Yun Jiao and Song Qing had decided after discussing it—to reveal this matter after all.

Yun Jiao didn’t want to be mistaken for having Su Kangcheng’s bloodline.

And An Zhiya probably wouldn’t want to be known only as Su Kangcheng’s wife.

“At the time, the An family was in a critical situation and had to find a reliable man to be Zhiya’s husband. But they never intended to hide the truth; even when searching, they were looking for someone who would volunteer.

In reality, it was just a partnership. Su Kangcheng stepped forward back then and expressed his willingness. He said he had always seen Zhiya as a dear sister and that he would take care of her.”

Everyone had a sudden realization.

‘So that’s how it was! And here we thought Su Kangcheng was just some guy picking up the pieces. If it was just a partnership, then it all makes sense.’

“Of course, Uncle Fu wouldn’t treat him poorly. After he agreed, he gave him 3% of the shares in An Pharmaceutical.”

“But some people are too ambitious. What he wanted wasn’t just that 3%. So, when Uncle An and I were both away, Zhiya ‘happened’ to go into premature labor.”

Anyone with a bit of sense could hear it. There was no ‘happening’ about it; it was clearly a premeditated scheme to make it convenient for them to switch the babies!

‘Swap their own child for An Zhiya’s, so that even when the child grew up and inherited the An family fortune, it would still fall into their own child’s hands.’

‘What a brilliant scheme.’
