The Rich Cultivator
Chapter 807. The sword everyone wants
Chapter 807: 807. The sword everyone wants
"Tyler, you received a gift."
Suzuka pushed the door open and stepped inside.
The moment she crossed the threshold her expression tightened. The air in the room was thick, cloying perfume layered over the sharper scents of several different women, undercut by a heavy, unmistakable musk of recent intimacy and release. The smell of what had been happening here hung everywhere.
Suzuka’s eyes flicked to Tyler.
For the past week he had barely left this room. Everyone knew the constant parade of girls going in and coming out, some of them still flushed and unsteady when they left, some were even carried out.
Tyler didn’t even open his eyes. He sat behind the desk, leaning back, completely bare. His manhood was thick and glistening, currently buried deep in the throat of the girl kneeling between his spread thighs. She was naked too, knees apart on the floor, one hand braced on his thigh while she worked her mouth up and down his length with wet, rhythmic sounds. Saliva and the slick evidence of his arousal coated her lips and chin; every time she took him fully her throat bulged and she made a soft, choked noise around the thick flesh filling her.
"What kind of gift?" Tyler asked, voice calm, still not looking up. His fingers rested loosely in the girl’s hair, guiding her pace without force.
"I don’t know. But it seems rather unusual."
Suzuka walked closer. Her face was already coloring.
"I told you before, didn’t I? Unless it’s something rare, you can just keep it."
Tyler’s free hand drifted toward the desk.
"Well, this gift is actually a sword."
"A sword?"
His hand stopped. The girl between his legs didn’t. She kept moving, cheeks hollowed, tongue sliding along the underside of him as she pulled almost all the way off, then sank back down until her nose pressed against his lower stomach. A thin string of spit connected her swollen lips to the base of his manhood when she rose again.
Suzuka nodded, eyes deliberately fixed somewhere above his shoulders.
"And I couldn’t put it into the storage bag."
That was enough. Tyler’s interest sharpened.
If an ordinary sword refused the storage bag, there was a high chance it was the one half the city was hunting for.
"Where is it?"
"In another room."
"Let’s go and take a look."
He started to stand.
Suzuka’s face went crimson.
Only then did Tyler glance down, as if just remembering the situation. The girl was still attached to him, lips stretched wide around his thick length, eyes watering slightly as she continued to take him without being told to stop. His manhood twitched visibly in her throat.
"Ah."
He looked at the wet, shiny mess of her face and casually patted the top of her head, fingers threading through her hair.
"I forgot."
He gave a small, almost lazy push upward, pressing deeper into her throat for a second. She made a soft, strained sound around him, throat tightening, then kept moving her mouth like it was expected.
Suzuka turned her face away hard, ears burning, but she didn’t leave. The wet, filthy sounds of the girl struggling and working around Tyler’s manhood filled the brief silence that followed.
"Put on some clothes first!"
Tyler laughed and quickly changed before following Suzuka to the other room,
"Next time don’t barge like that." Tyler said to Suzuka who blushed even more.
"Beast."
The sword had been placed inside a long wooden box.
However, what caught Tyler’s attention first was not the sword itself.
There was a paper placed on top of the box.
Only six words had been written on it. ’The thing everyone wants.’
Tyler narrowed his eyes.
Instead, he glanced toward Hazel.
"Hazel, you open it."
Hazel blinked pointed at herself.
"Yes."
She then pointed at Suzuka.
"No you do it." Tyler said.
She stepped forward.
She just walked towards it and opened it.
The moment the lid was lifted, an old sword appeared inside.
It looked ancient.
The blade was covered in faint marks, and the hilt had clearly experienced countless years of wear. At first glance, it looked more like a broken antique than a priceless treasure.
Hazel reached out and slowly lifted it.
Suzuka stared at the sword.
"This is it?" She frowned.
"This is the thing everyone is looking for?" Her voice contained obvious disbelief.
"B-but why would someone send it here?"
Before anyone could answer, the sword suddenly trembled.
A terrifying aura erupted from it.
Suzuka’s expression changed.
"What—?"
Before she could react, a figure suddenly emerged from the sword.
It was a young man. His movements were incredibly fast. In an instant, he appeared behind Hazel and placed a short blade against her neck.
"Don’t move."
His voice was cold.
"If anyone takes another step, she dies."
Everyone in the room immediately froze.
Suzuka’s eyes widened.
Tyler looked at him with interested expression
Tyler calmly looked at the stranger, "Who the hell are you?"
The young man hesitated for a moment before answering proudly.
"I am Chu Yang."
There was a brief silence. Then the old sword suddenly spoke.
"Idiot!" The young man’s expression stiffened. The sword continued angrily. "Why did you tell him your name?"
Chu Yang’s face turned black.
"..."
Tyler stared at the man.
Then he looked at the sword.
For some reason, he suddenly felt that this legendary treasure everyone was searching for might be far more troublesome than he had expected.
Somehow, the sword had produced a man who immediately took Hazel hostage.
Tyler’s eyes immediately lit up.
"A storage artifact."
Now everything made sense.
No wonder so many people were desperately searching for this sword. If it truly possessed the ability to store or conceal something extraordinary, then its value was far beyond that of an ordinary divine weapon.
The ancient sword remained silent.
Tyler narrowed his eyes.
"What’s wrong? Didn’t you just threaten us?"
Chu Yang tightened his grip on the blade pressed against Hazel’s neck.
"Stop!"
His voice carried a hint of panic.
"I have a hostage. Don’t do anything reckless!"
Tyler blinked.
"What hostage?"
Chu Yang froze.
"What?"
He slowly looked down at the person standing in front of him.
Hazel was no longer there. Chu Yang’s entire body stiffened.
He raised his head little by little.Hazel was standing behind Tyler completely unharmed. Her expression was calm, as though she had never been in danger at all.
Clang!
The knife in Chu Yang’s hand slipped from his fingers and fell onto the floor.
For several breaths, Chu Yang simply stared at Hazel.
Then he looked at Tyler.
Then at Hazel again.
His face gradually turned pale.
"So... this is the way you can leave the city without being noticed?"
The ancient sword lying on the floor suddenly spoke.
"Teleportation, huh? How convenient."
Chu Yang’s face became ashen.
"I am dead."
He had originally thought that taking hostage would give him enough leverage to escape. Yet before he had even realized what happened, his hostage had disappeared and returned to Tyler’s side.
The ancient sword sighed, "This is bad."
Tyler, however, smiled, "Looks like the bait worked perfectly."
Chu Yang’s eyes widened.
"B-Bait?"
Tyler casually walked over and picked up the ancient sword.
"Yes." His smile widened. "You’re the fish."
Chu Yang’s expression became one of complete disbelief.
"You rented the entire brothel? And the entire Pink Street? And you deliberately leaked your method about leaving the city?"
Tyler smiled, "Exactly."
Chu Yang’s mouth twitched.
"You did all of that... just to lure me out?"
Tyler tapped the sword lightly against his palm, "Correct answer."
Chu Yang was completely dumbfounded.
He had spent days secretly investigating Tyler. Every piece of information he had obtained suggested that Tyler was nothing more than a ridiculously wealthy and shameless young master who spent his days enjoying himself in Pink Street.
Tyler had even deliberately allowed rumors to spread that he possessed a method to leave the city without being detected.
At first, Chu Yang had been cautious.
But after hearing the rumors repeatedly, his curiosity had eventually overcome his caution.
He had never expected that everything had been carefully arranged from the beginning.
"If I had simply leaked the information that I possessed a way to leave the city," Tyler explained, "you would’ve immediately become suspicious. Anyone with some experience would realize that such information was too convenient."
He smiled.
"So I needed something more believable."
Tyler spread his hands.
"I acted like a wealthy young master, rented the entire brothel, spent money recklessly, and let everyone believe I was nothing more than a lustful rich idiot."
Suzuka’s mouth twitched.
"How is that a persona?" She looked at Tyler. "That’s just your personality."
Tyler’s smile froze, "...That’s unnecessarily cruel... truth."
Even Chu Yang was speechless.
The ancient sword suddenly let out a low sigh.
"This brat is more scheming than many old monsters I’ve encountered."
Its tone carried a trace of admiration.
"He doesn’t simply set traps. He makes his enemies believe they discovered the bait themselves."
Tyler chuckled.
"Well, if you’re going to fish, you might as well use good bait."
He turned toward Chu Yang.
The murderous atmosphere from earlier had completely disappeared from his face.
Instead, Tyler pointed toward the nearby table.
"Now, Chu Yang..." He smiled warmly. "Please sit down and have some tea."
Chu Yang stared at him suspiciously.
"...You’re not going to kill me?"
"Why would I?"
Tyler poured himself a cup of tea.
"You came all the way here. It would be rude to send you away without having a proper conversation."
The ancient sword immediately muttered,
"I don’t know why, but I feel more afraid of this than being threatened with death."
Chu Yang silently agreed.
For some reason, he suddenly felt that being captured by Tyler might have been the worst possible outcome.
