Chapter 100: 100 The Supreme Necromancer 3

The Supreme Necromancer

Yun Che did not look away.

"And the others?"

Ariselle answered:

"They will stay with me."

She looked at the map.

"When the barrier falls, I will lead every warrior who is still capable of fighting."

Her hand slowly clenched.

"And we will fight."

"Until when?"

"Until no one is left."

Yun Che remained silent.

Ariselle raised her eyes.

"You should leave."

Yun Che slightly frowned.

"Leave?"

"Yes."

The queen approached.

"You are not a Medusa."

She spoke calmly.

"This is not your war."

Yun Che did not answer.

"You have already done more than any outsider would have done for our people. Your contributions go beyond those of anyone among our own people."

Ariselle began to enumerate them.

"You gave us protection inside the mausoleum."

"You protected our civilians."

"You helped create three new tenth-stage Profound Nascent cultivators."

"You killed one of our enemies who was at the tenth stage of the Profound Nascent realm."

"You destroyed an entire logistics base."

She paused.

"Although we do not know how you did it, more than six thousand enemies died by your hands."

The queen’s eyes became moist, but her voice remained firm.

"And above all..."

She looked directly at Yun Che.

"You gave my warriors hope."

The silence between them became heavy.

"I will never forget that."

Ariselle turned her face away.

"But precisely because of that..."

She took a deep breath.

"I want you to leave."

Yun Che remained motionless.

"I don’t want to see you die here."

She closed her eyes.

"This war is not yours."

For several seconds, Yun Che simply observed the queen before smiling.

A calm smile.

Ariselle opened her eyes.

"Why are you smiling?"

Yun Che approached her.

Ariselle frowned.

"Yun Che?"

He stopped in front of her.

Before the queen could ask anything, Yun Che leaned forward and gave her a short kiss on her beautiful, pink lips.

Ariselle became completely motionless, frozen by the sudden act.

Her eyes widened in surprise, and then her expression changed.

"You..."

She raised a hand to her own face.

"You just..."

Yun Che raised one finger.

"Before you start."

Ariselle frowned.

"Don’t think that this means..."

"Even if there are no romantic feelings between us."

Yun Che interrupted her.

His voice was calm.

"Even if our relationship began because of an agreement."

He looked directly into her green eyes.

"At the end of the day, you are still my woman."

Ariselle remained silent as Yun Che took another step.

"My woman. Even if it was initially only because of that agreement, I still intend to fulfill my responsibilities as your man."

The queen opened her mouth to respond, but Yun Che continued before she could speak.

"And I don’t abandon my woman when she is about to die."

Ariselle continued looking at him.

Yun Che then spoke:

"Not everything is lost."

She frowned.

"You just heard everything I said. Don’t you understand how bad the situation is?"

"I heard you."

"Then you know we can’t win."

"I disagree with you a little."

Yun Che smiled.

"I said not everything is lost."

Ariselle narrowed her eyes.

"You have a plan?"

"I have a possibility we can explore, and if everything goes well, we can survive in the end."

"What are you talking about?"

Yun Che did not answer immediately. His gaze became more serious.

"I can’t guarantee that we will win, but I can guarantee that your people will not be completely annihilated."

Ariselle remained motionless.

"But I still have a way to fight."

She watched his face.

"What way?"

Yun Che slowly extended his hand.

"I want to ask you something first."

Ariselle did not answer.

"Would you be willing to entrust the fate of all your people to me?"

The queen became completely motionless.

Yun Che continued:

"I’m not talking about entrusting only your life."

He pointed toward the door.

"I’m talking about every Medusa."

"Would you entrust the future of your tribe to me?"

She slowly opened her mouth.

"Yun Che..."

But before she could answer, black smoke began to seep from the necromancer’s body.

Ariselle stepped back. The smoke spread across the floor and then slowly rose. The energy of death filled the room.

Five terrifying presences appeared inside the room.

Eryon appeared first.

The Lich held his bone staff in one hand and immediately looked at Ariselle.

"As you command, my master."

Valeria appeared beside him.

Her long blonde hair fell over her shoulders as her ruby-red eyes gleamed.

A smile appeared on her lips.

"We’re finally back at full strength."

Kael appeared next. The Revenant clenched his fists.

"If any enemy tries to touch Master, they will be destroyed."

Nefrava appeared wrapped in her own bandages.

"I want to see how far I can push my abilities."

Morcant appeared last.

The Soul Devourer merely raised his head. Ariselle could not hide her surprise.

But then a much greater presence filled the room. A huge shadow appeared behind Yun Che.

Two enormous blue eye sockets opened. Blue flames illuminated the hall as Andarna emerged.

But instead of the gigantic Bone Dragon, a small figure appeared before them—a girl of approximately seven years old.

White hair, a dark-blue dress, with a thin dark-blue blindfold covering her eyes.

She opened a huge smile.

"Masteeeer!"

Andarna gave a small jump.

"Look! I’m completely fine!"

Yun Che put a hand to his forehead.

"Andarna..."

The girl immediately became serious.

"Yes, Master!"

The other Knights remained motionless. The difference between that little girl and the other five was almost absurd.

Eryon simply watched.

Valeria smiled.

Kael kept his arms crossed.

Nefrava slowly moved her bandages.

Morcant remained silent.

Andarna, however, seemed incapable of staying still. She took two steps forward, then came back.

Then she approached Yun Che and held his arm.

Ariselle watched everything without saying a word.

Yun Che looked at the queen. There were now six undead standing before her, and Yun Che’s expression carried no concern.

Only determination.

He then took another step toward Ariselle and looked directly into the queen’s green eyes.

"I am your husband."

His voice echoed through the small hall.

"The Supreme Necromancer."

The six Knights remained behind him. Andarna smiled sweetly.

Yun Che continued:

"And I swear that I will do everything within my power to save your people."

He extended his hand toward Ariselle.

"Then, Queen Ariselle..."

His gaze became firm.

"Will you give me the responsibility of carrying the burden of saving your people?"
