Chapter 107: 107 True Profound Pills

107 True Profound Pills

The different diagrams were connected by extremely thin lines that glowed with a faint blue light.

When Yun Che finished carving the final circuit, the entire formation lit up.

A wave of spiritual energy swept across the floor as dozens of diagrams began connecting to one another.

Ariselle watched everything happening, even though she couldn’t fully understand what Yun Che had built.

Yun Che stood up, and his hand slowly moved toward the pocket of his black robes.

"Have you finished the preparations?"

"Almost."

Yun Che took out two small jade boxes, and the moment he did, the Queen’s expression immediately changed.

They weren’t sealed, and she recognized the energy before he had even fully opened the boxes.

An extremely pure spiritual pressure spread throughout the tenth floor, causing Ariselle’s green eyes to widen.

Yun Che completely opened the first box.

Inside was a perfectly round pill.

Its surface was white, but thin golden strands ran through its structure like veins.

The second one was practically identical.

Ariselle was stunned, unable to say anything.

But eventually, her voice came out.

"These..."

Yun Che looked at her.

"They are exactly what you think they are."

Ariselle slowly approached him, her beautiful green eyes remaining fixed on the two pills.

"They contain True Profound energy."

"Your eyes aren’t just pretty. You can distinguish energy quite clearly."

The Queen’s expression became even more serious.

"Did you refine them?"

Yun Che shook his head.

"Not yet."

He closed one of the boxes.

"My knowledge has already reached a level far beyond what I possessed before, mainly because of the inheritance of the Great Alchemist Rafael."

His eyes returned to the pills.

"But my cultivation isn’t stable enough yet to consistently refine pills of this level."

Ariselle frowned slightly.

"Then where did they come from?"

"That doesn’t matter right now."

Yun Che put the boxes away for a moment.

"Once my cultivation is higher, I’ll naturally be able to refine pills of this level."

Ariselle remained silent.

She knew about that man’s talent in alchemy, but this was still different. She couldn’t bring herself to believe those words.

A pill capable of containing enough energy to help a Profound Nascence cultivator break through to the True Profound was not something that could be treated as a simple medicine.

Ariselle looked at the two pills again.

"What do you intend to do with something this powerful?"

Yun Che smiled.

"Use them. Why would I keep something this precious when our lives are in danger?"

"Use them?"

"Of course. Why not?"

He opened both boxes, and Ariselle immediately noticed something strange.

"Yun Che..."

He picked up the first pill.

"You’re not going to..."

The pill disappeared into his mouth, causing Ariselle’s eyes to widen.

But before she could react, Yun Che put the second one into his mouth as well.

He swallowed.

Silence filled the tenth floor.

The Queen remained standing there with her mouth open, and even the small serpents in her hair seemed frozen in shock.

For several seconds, nothing happened.

Then an enormous spiritual pressure exploded inside Yun Che’s body.

His hair rose into the air, his clothes began to flutter violently, and the spiritual lines on the floor lit up at the same time.

Ariselle instinctively stepped back.

"Yun Che!"

His body began emitting a white light.

The spiritual energy accumulated inside his body became so dense that it seemed as though it were about to break through his skin.

The veins in his arms became visible, and his breathing grew heavy.

Even so, Yun Che continued smiling.

Ariselle looked at him as if she were standing before a madman.

"Have you lost your mind?"

Yun Che opened his eyes.

"Why do you say that?"

"A cultivator at your realm taking two pills of this level... You’re going to explode!"

Her voice carried genuine concern.

"Do you know how much energy you just put into your body?"

Yun Che breathed slowly.

"If it were someone else..."

He raised his hand, causing the spiritual energy around his fingers to fluctuate.

"...you would probably be right. A cultivator at my level wouldn’t be able to withstand this much energy. Eventually, their core would collapse when they tried to instinctively absorb it."

Ariselle narrowed her eyes.

"But?"

Yun Che smiled.

"I’m different from other cultivators."

She fell silent.

Yun Che closed his eyes.

"My body possesses a special constitution."

The energy continued increasing.

"I can’t normally absorb spiritual energy from the outside world or from the pills I consume. That’s because..."

Ariselle was surprised.

"You can’t absorb spiritual energy?"

"No."

"Then how do you cultivate?"

Yun Che opened his eyes.

"Through dual cultivation."

The Queen remained motionless.

She already knew about this characteristic of his. It was precisely because of this that she had become his woman.

But hearing him say it again while his body was being flooded with the energy of two True Profound pills made the explanation seem even more absurd.

"So you intend to..."

"Of course. It’s nice when people understand quickly."

Yun Che looked at the formation.

"All this energy will be transferred to you during our dual cultivation."

"To me?"

The pressure increased, and a wave of spiritual energy swept across the tenth floor.

Ariselle became serious.

"You intend to use the energy from the two pills to help me break through?"

Yun Che nodded.

"I’ll use their energy."

He pointed toward the formation.

"And the spiritual energy accumulated within this formation as well."

"With this formation, I’ll be able to bind you to the mausoleum, just like the Earth Elementals. You won’t be able to leave this mountain range, but at least you’ll be able to reach the True Profound."

"And when you become stronger, dual cultivation will raise my cultivation as well."

Yun Che smiled.

"I ended up finding a loophole in the system so I won’t always have to chase after someone stronger to cultivate."

Ariselle looked at the countless circuits.

Now she finally understood why Yun Che had spent so much time building that structure.

He wasn’t simply creating a cultivation formation.

He was creating an enormous channel for energy transfer and binding to the mausoleum.

All the energy that entered his body would be directed toward Ariselle.

"You want to help me reach the True Profound."

"Exactly."

The Queen’s heart began beating faster.
