Chapter 96: 96 Ending The Slaughter

Ending The Slaughter

One more jump.

"Andarna!"

She pointed at herself.

"Andarna!"

Then she hugged Yun Che again.

"My master gave me this name!"

Yun Che looked at her in silence.

Her reaction was very different from that of the other five when they received their names.

Eryon had received his name solemnly.

Valeria with elegance.

Kael with determination.

Nefrava with satisfaction.

Morcant with silence.

Andarna simply seemed to have just received the greatest treasure of her existence.

"Thank you, Master!"

She hugged him even tighter.

"I’ll never forget it!"

Yun Che placed one hand on her head again.

"Alright."

Andarna smiled.

"My name is Andarna."

She repeated it once more.

"And I am Master’s undead."

Yun Che looked at the five Knights who now had a new member.

"Now meet your sister."

Eryon stepped forward.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you, Andarna."

Andarna immediately raised her hand.

"Hi, Brother Eryon!"

Eryon inclined his head.

"Hello."

Valeria approached.

"So we can finally talk properly."

Andarna turned toward her.

"Sister Valeria!"

Valeria smiled.

"Exactly."

Kael approached next.

"Andarna."

The girl opened her arms.

"Brother Kael!"

Kael remained still for a moment before allowing her to hug his waist.

"You’re small."

"I can become big too, really big!"

Kael looked at Yun Che.

"I know."

Nefrava also approached.

"Andarna."

The girl gently touched one of the mummy’s bandages.

"You’re soft."

Nefrava calmly replied:

"These bandages can be quite dangerous."

Andarna smiled.

"I’m dangerous too, and I can breathe fire, you know?"

Finally, Morcant approached.

The girl remained silent for a few seconds.

"Morcant."

"Yes."

Andarna tilted her head.

"You’re scary."

Morcant remained motionless before nodding and speaking only one word.

"Thank you."

Andarna began to laugh. Yun Che observed the six undead standing before him before his gaze fell upon the corpses scattered throughout the base.

"Eryon."

The Lich immediately turned his attention toward his master.

"Yes, Master."

"Store the corpses of the cultivators who reached the early stages of Profound Nascent."

Eryon looked at the bodies.

"All of them?"

"All those that are suitable."

Yun Che pointed toward the crater.

"And Maeron’s corpse as well."

The dark-blue flames within Eryon’s eye sockets burned more intensely.

"Understood, Master."

The Lich approached the battlefield, his dark energy slowly spreading across the ground.

The corpses began to be enveloped by a thin layer of necromantic energy.

Yun Che then looked at the other five. At that moment, he understood the severity of the Knights’ injuries.

Yun Che frowned slightly.

"System."

A window appeared before his eyes.

[Condition of the Apocalyptic Knights analyzed.]

[Knights severely injured.]

[Natural recovery available.]

[Alternative identified.]

[Host’s Lust Points can be used as a source of recovery.]

Yun Che narrowed his eyes.

[Controlled consumption of Lust Points will significantly accelerate the recovery of the Apocalyptic Knights.]

He remained silent, deep in thought.

The five could recover by consuming part of the resources accumulated by the system. Yun Che looked at them.

"You need to recover."

Eryon replied:

"Yes, Master."

"Return inside my body."

The five looked at one another, and then their bodies slowly began to dissolve one after another, Eryon disappearing first as a black mist enveloped his body.

Valeria, Kael, Nefrava, and Morcant followed one after another. The five entered Yun Che’s body.

Only Andarna remained standing beside him. Yun Che looked at her.

"You’ll stay here."

Her face lit up.

"I can stay with Master?"

"Yes."

Andarna immediately hugged his leg.

"Yaaay!"

Yun Che ignored her reaction.

Then a new message appeared.

[Lust Points consumed.]

[Recovery of the Apocalyptic Knights initiated.]

[Recovery speed increased.]

Yun Che watched the message disappear before turning his gaze back to Andarna.

"I have a mission for you."

The girl immediately became serious.

"What is Andarna’s mission, Master?"

"Kill all the survivors."

Andarna remained motionless, and then her smile returned.

"Everyone?"

"Everyone."

She let go of Yun Che.

"Understood, Master. Andarna is going to play!"

With that, the energy of death exploded from the girl’s body.

The little girl disappeared as her dark-blue dress was enveloped by a mass of blue flames.

Her body began to grow, and her white hair disappeared into the energy.

Ribs began to emerge, and her head elongated as two enormous wings spread out to the sides.

Within a few seconds, the little girl had disappeared, once again replaced by a gigantic Bone Dragon engulfed in blazing blue flames.

Andarna.

Two blue flames burned within her eye sockets. She opened her mouth, and an enormous torrent of blue fire emerged between her teeth.

"Let’s play!"

BOOOOOOM!

The flames swept through the ruins as the surviving soldiers ran for their lives.

"RUN!"

"IT’S THE DRAGON!"

"FLEE!"

Andarna beat her enormous wings, and the wind produced by the movement sent dozens of soldiers crashing to the ground.

She dove.

Her enormous claws tore through a formation of soldiers, sending their bodies flying in every direction.

Andarna rose again.

"More!"

She opened her mouth, and another torrent of blue flames descended upon the base. The soldiers trying to escape were swallowed by the fire.

Their armor began to melt, their shields turned red, and their weapons completely lost their shape.

The stone began to crack as Andarna laughed.

"Yaaay!"

She seemed genuinely happy because, to her, this was not a war. From her perspective, it was merely a game.

A group of Lizardmen tried to gather their courage.

"ATTACK THE DRAGON!"

Dozens of spears were thrown. Andarna turned her enormous body once, and the weapons struck her ribs.

CLANG!

Some shattered instantly, while the others simply ricocheted away.

Andarna looked down.

"You want to play with me?"

She opened her mouth, making the blue fire illuminate the night.

"Then come!"

BOOOOOOM!

The explosion covered the entire area, and when the flames finally disappeared, only smoking craters remained.

Andarna beat her wings again when a group attempted to flee through the mountains, but she saw them.

"Hey!"

The fugitives looked back at the same time as an enormous shadow covered their bodies.

Andarna descended.

BOOM!

The ground trembled, and when she rose again, none of them remained standing.

Yun Che watched from a distance.

There was no emotion in his eyes. The base was finished, and the resources had been destroyed.

The army had been massacred, and Maeron, the tenth-stage cultivator of the Profound Nascent realm, was dead. His five Knights were recovering inside his body.

Then...

A spiritual pressure emerged, making Yun Che freeze in place as the atmosphere completely changed, the air becoming cold and heavy at the same time.

The flames scattered throughout the ruins began to flicker.

Even Andarna stopped when the terrifying presence descended upon the region.

Yun Che slowly raised his head.

And in the sky, a silhouette appeared.
