The Unveiling of Secret Queen
Chapter 2436: Mr. Lordon Knows
Just then, the phone placed beside her leg lit up.
Nathalie Quinlan picked it up lazily, glancing down.
Speak of the devil.
Khendy Lordon’s profile picture popped up—a WhatsApp message: Why didn’t you like my post yesterday?
Nathalie glanced at it and opened WhatsApp, found the posts he had made yesterday and today, and casually liked them.
But she didn’t reply to his message.
She directly turned off the phone.
Her head leaned back, slightly tilting her nape, reaching out to lower the brim of her hat, only showing a delicate chin, closed her eyes, and began to rest with her eyes closed in the car...
Amadeus Yancey saw that the girl beside him seemed to be asleep, and he quietly closed the car window, leaving a gap for her.
Then he turned down the air conditioner a little, reduced the speed, and the car smoothly circled around the city center twice before heading back toward the villa.

Elsewhere, Khendy Lordon took a shower and came out of the bathroom.
The servant immediately handed him a towel and helped him dry his hair.
Due to the condition of his legs, Khendy mostly let them serve him, only reaching out to grab his phone from the washstand.
On the phone, apart from some messages from Valencia Jett, the notification section for a certain person was empty.
Khendy felt a bit disappointed.
He pursed his lips and opened WhatsApp, only to see two new posts.
He opened them to find.
Sure enough, Nathalie Quinlan had liked them three minutes ago.
However, in the WhatsApp chat box, it was still his previous message; she wasn’t typing, nor did she intend to reply.
Khendy furrowed his brows.
The servant drying his hair was so tense, his movements were stiff and mechanical, even accidentally pulling his hair, making the servant tremble in fear.
Khendy paid no attention to these; a flash of light in his eyes, he received a new message from Valencia Jett.
It was a voice message.
Khendy clicked to open it.
Valencia Jett’s voice came through the audio: "20 minutes ago, Marco Lordon went to stop Nathalie’s car and said something to her. I was too far to hear what they said. Anyway, judging by Nathalie’s reaction, whatever he said probably wasn’t well-received."
Khendy’s expression suddenly changed, his eyes seemingly icy cold.
Another voice message from Valencia came, again very brief, only three seconds: "Did Nathalie tell you Marco went to see her?"
Khendy didn’t answer, but instead had the servant leave.
Sitting in the wheelchair himself, he dialed the Lordon Family’s number.
He looked at his own long-standing pale, sickly reflection in the mirror, curled his lips into a gentle smile, but that smile was exactly like Nathalie Quinlan said, completely different from Marco’s well-protected harmless gentleness.
It was a shallow smile with no meaning, forged through turbulent experiences, learning to hide all emotions.
The Lordon Family’s call quickly connected.
Mrs. Lordon’s cautious voice came through: "Little Khendy, why do you have time to call the family today? Your dad was just mentioning you. His birthday is coming up, and the family plans to host a big celebration. If you have time, would you like to come back for a meal?"
Khendy’s presence weighed more than the entire Lordon Family, and Mrs. Lordon undoubtedly hoped Khendy would attend the banquet to support the family, helping them rise another tier in Inderia...
But the usually cold-bordering-on-indifferent, yet reasonably respectful Khendy seemed like a different person this time. He didn’t even engage with Mrs. Lordon’s hints, his tone was heavy, directly saying: "Where is Marco?"
