The Villainess Is My Cute Daughter

Chapter 206: Another Transmigrator?

Chapter 206: Another Transmigrator?

The moment he got the idea in mind, he got to work.

He immediately sent a thin, invisible mana thread shooting straight toward her. He brought it near her ear and spoke to her.

"We need to find the mage who’s behind all this, and to do that... I need your help to get in there."

"The only way I can even think about surviving this siege is by going out there and fighting against them directly." Adrian transmitted the plan. "We’ll need a small team, so the two of us can go. Or Draven can also join our strike team."

He quickly shot out another mana thread and made a direct connection to Draven. He linked the threads together so that all three of them could easily talk over all the noise around them.

"I feel like this enemy is most probably a sixth circle mage." Adrian told both of them through the mana threads, "Because if it was a seventh, eighth, or ninth circle monster, I don’t think that they would be cowardly relying on a low level monster horde to attack this place. They would just nuke the city themselves."

He paused his thoughts as he decapitated a charging dire wolf.

’In fact, I am not sure that this is a person sixth circle mage.’ Adrian added grimly. ’Because even a sixth circle mage wouldn’t need to use thousands of monsters to deal damage or cause issues.’

Adrian fully expected the two of them to ask him a hundred questions about exactly how he made the guess that this was a sixth circle threat.

But they did not ask him anything and just completely trusted his words.

"Okay." Draven replied over the magical link. "You two go out there and do your thing. I will make sure that the monsters do not get through the hole while you are gone. I will stay here and hold the line with the soldiers."

Draven immediately started backing away from his deep frontline position to reinforce the struggling shield wall at the breach.

And what Adrian did next was completely unhinged.

He ran forward and slapped his hand directly onto a massive pile of dead monsters. He instantly triggered his Dungeon Link and just sucked the entire mountain of corpses straight into his dungeon storage.

He just kept doing it. Since most of the dead monsters were piled up in massive, tangled heaps right in front of him, he could just use the physical connection between their touching bodies to teleport the whole group into his dungeon in one single, massive chunk.

It was the same as what he did a few months ago.

This instant cleanup completely took out the risk of the agile monsters using the corpses to jump over the defending soldiers.

Once the bloody ramp was gone, Adrian quickly channeled his mana.

He used a concentrated Gust spell right under his boots to propel himself forward. The wind blast launched him right across the battlefield and he caught up to Sigrid in seconds.

The two of them just bolted straight for the dark forest.

Sigrid took the front and she chopped up every single beast that stepped in her way. And Adrian just kept a strict ten meter gap as he ran slightly behind her to watch her back.

He activated his magic and started spinning his chakrams again. But this time, he pushed his control to the limit. He spun all ten chakrams at a massive, extended range of a ten meter radius around his body.

And due to this extreme range, the deadly, spinning diameter of his defensive ring was almost twenty meters wide.

He just ran wildly all over the chaotic battlefield. He specifically targeted the packed areas where the charging monsters were heavily clumped up together. He just ran straight through them, and the spinning chakrams brutally killed every single beast caught inside the twenty meter kill zone.

And while controlling this massive, extended spell did take a lot of mana and focus, it also allowed him to massively reduce the heavy pressure on the soldiers defending the wall behind him.

Because even though maintaining a ten meter telekinetic radius was incredibly difficult, and it affected the overall mana efficiency of the spinning blades... it was not too bad. It was still a totally manageable thing.

And he had a ridiculously massive amount of mana stored in his dungeon link. So he did not really care about his heavy mana consumption right now.

So he just killed thousands of monsters on his path to the forest.

And as he followed closely behind Sigrid and got closer to the edge of the dark forest, the weather suddenly shifted.

A heavy rain started pouring down. Cold drops of water began falling from the dark gray clouds, but Adrian just ignored all of that and kept sprinting.

They finally hit the edge of the battlefield and when they were maybe a hundred meters out from the tree line when someone stepped out of the woods.

The guy just walked out from behind a giant oak tree. He casually started walking directly toward Adrian and Sigrid.

And the first thing that Adrian thought when he got a clear look at this guy was just one single question.

’Is that another person from Earth?’ Adrian asked himself in shock.

Because the man walking confidently toward them in the freezing rain looked completely Asian.

Because people with those exact facial features just did not exist naturally on this world of magic and knights.

And even if they were hiding somewhere across the ocean, the original web novel never talked about them. Adrian never read a single lore drop about a continent full of people looking like the guy standing right there.

The logic was pretty simple to him.

’This guy is either someone who got transmigrated from Earth just like me.’ Adrian concluded rapidly. ’Or the stupid book that I read back home just had incredibly lazy, incomplete world-building.’
