Chapter 1920: Bibi Reporting In

"Then don’t call me Assistant Garcia, it sounds too formal." Jerry Garcia stopped in front of her, his voice gentle, "Call me Jerry, we’re friends now, aren’t we?"

"Jerry, good morning!" The girl smiled brightly, her clear eyes and white teeth truly adorable.

"Good morning, Bibi." He said to her, "Follow me, your office is on the 7th floor."

"Okay." The girl followed him towards the elevator.

Jerry introduced, "These four elevators all go directly to the seventh floor. Our company starts at nine, and clocking in before nine is fine."

They entered the elevator.

"Alright, I won’t be late, I live close by, about ten minutes."

"By the way, is your foot completely healed?"

"Totally healed!" The girl smiled at him, "Don’t worry, I’ll take care of myself and won’t get hurt or sick again. I’ll strive to finish the project on time and do a great job!"

"I believe in you."

They stepped out of the elevator, he led her to the right, "The comic department is this way. To facilitate communication, we have a big office with all workstations together. CEO Kingston specifically arranged a private office for you, so you’re free to work wherever you like."

"That’s so nice! It’s really thoughtful, please thank him for me." The girl was a bit surprised, her sunny disposition and infectious smile were truly charming.

Jerry said, "Our CEO Kingston is your fan, he’s read all your published comic collections. Anything that catches his eye must be good."

"This way." When Jerry led her into the comic department office, the boys and girls who were engrossed in drawing at their desks looked up.
