Chapter 1941: Anton Ford’s Cautiousness

Sharon calmly thought for a moment and said to her, "Let’s calm down first, don’t take any action, and just observe for now."

"..." Angel didn’t answer, she was very worried about her position as the leading actress.

Sharon saw her worry and comforted her, "There is no reason to replace you now. Your performance today impressed the director and producer. Abby Sawyer is just a newcomer. Don’t think that just because Anton Miller said a few words for her, it will pose a threat to you."

Then Sharon added, "Anton Miller might not be helping her, he’s helping CEO Kingston."

With that reassurance, Angel became less anxious and gradually regained her confidence.

In front of Abby Sawyer, the complete newcomer, there’s no need to feel so much pressure, no matter how beautiful she is, she’s not a goddess!

In the lobby, the reporters had already dispersed with Anton Miller, everyone wanting to dig up some news from him, after all, he is the traffic magnet.

"Let’s go too," Tess Tate held Abby’s arm and turned her eyes to her.

The girl snapped back to reality, smiling at her, "Mm."

Then they stepped out, and ultimately, it was Anton Miller who solved everything for her, which was totally unexpected.

After exiting the lobby, they found a few reporters blocking Anton Miller’s car, holding microphones to interview him—

"Anton, Abby Sawyer is just a new actress. As an award-winning actor, are you protecting her because you like her?"

"Anton, will she be your next girlfriend?"

"Anton, are you currently single?"

Anton Miller was unwilling to delve into emotional issues, unwilling to be reminded of the so-called romantic past. Any topic related to Abby would touch his heart deeply.

Inadvertently, his glance shifted, and Anton Miller saw the two girls walking out of the lobby.

Abby also happened to look at him, about seven or eight meters apart, their eyes meeting; she heard the journalists’ questions earlier.

Anton Miller quickly withdrew his gaze. He looked at the reporters in front of him and patiently replied, "I’m just acting out of justice, nothing to do with emotions."

After saying that, he opened the car door, slid into the car, and did not respond to any further questions from the journalists.

Jerry Garcia also got in and said to the reporters, "Sorry, but our Anton doesn’t like answering such trivial questions. Please refrain from asking them in the future."

With that, he closed the car door, and moments later, the car drove away.

His answer made it hard for Abby Sawyer to imagine that he was a man who changed girlfriends as easily as changing clothes...

Through today’s interactions, working through scripts with him, speaking up for her in front of the director, and helping her out with the tricky questions from journalists.

This behavior seemed completely different from what she had seen of him online.

Could there be two souls residing within one body?

In the departing Maybach, Anton turned his gaze to the sky outside the window, the sunset was so beautiful today.

His thoughts unknowingly drifted back to that summer.

In the campus filled with youthful vibes, he jogged along the track with her, as the sun set, they discussed dreams and the future...

Her smile was so sweet, so beautiful, her eyes were so captivating, a light amber color, like a whirlpool...

The air was filled with a faint scent emanating from her; he curiously asked, "Abby, what brand of perfume are you wearing?"

"I’m not wearing any perfume," she replied.

"But I smell a faint fragrance coming from you," Anton said seriously.

Abby emphasized again that she really doesn’t use perfume.

Many years later, Anton accidentally saw in the news a study that suggested if you truly love someone, you can perceive a unique scent emanating from them.
