Chapter 301: Chapter 301: Wudang, Daoist Wuchen

The Queen’s expression turned frigid as she looked at Long Xi’Er. "If it weren’t for you, you bitch, luring Ye Feng into the picture, my plan would have already succeeded. You ruined my grand design! And for that, you will pay a terrible price!

Oh, that’s right. You moved all of Ye Feng’s women to the Princess’s Mansion. Did you really think they’d be safe there?

Think again!

I’ve already sent people over. I’d imagine their heads have all been taken by now, heheh..."

"My sisters!" Long Xi’Er screamed and tried to run outside, but several Imperial Guards blocked her path.

The Queen chuckled at Long Xi’Er. "The entire situation is now under my control. Do you really think you’re in any position to struggle?"

"You..." Long Xi’Er trembled with rage. She turned to Long Ao, gritted her teeth, and cried out:

"Father!"

Long Ao set down his teacup and chuckled at the Queen. "Do you really think you have everything under control now? You’re getting ahead of yourself."

After speaking, he clapped his hands three times. In an instant, over a hundred figures in black appeared in the hall. They bowed to the King and said respectfully, "The Blood Drop pay their respects to Your Majesty!"

Seeing these figures, the Imperial Guards cried out in alarm, "The Blood Drop! They’re the Blood Drop!"

Long Ao said calmly, "Kill every last one of these traitors."

The Blood Drop acknowledged the command and shot to their feet. In the next moment, a red light flashed from their hands, and the heads of the Imperial Guards in the hall were all cleanly severed. Their bodies collapsed to the floor, never to move again.

Long Ao looked at the Queen and said calmly, "The Blood Drop are the experts I’ve secretly cultivated. Every one of them has the cultivation of a Tier One Martial God. You thought these ants you recruited could stand against them? You were dreaming. If you have no other tricks up your sleeve, then you can go ahead and die."

Then, he ordered coldly, "Seize her!"

The Blood Drop acknowledged the order and lunged toward the Queen.

But in the next instant, the Queen’s body flickered and vanished. A moment later, a series of piercing screams echoed through the hall. Everyone watched in horror as all the members of the Blood Drop fell to the ground, not a single one left standing.

The Queen’s figure reappeared. She chuckled as she looked at Long Ao. "They can’t touch me!"

"So you’re a martial arts expert as well!" Long Ao’s eyes narrowed as he stared at the Queen.

The Queen giggled. "You’re right. Before I entered the palace, I was studying under a master. And even after joining the court, I never stopped my training.

Do you know what my cultivation level is now? Tier Two Martial God. So you thought you could kill me with a bunch of Tier One Martial Gods? You were dreaming!

If you don’t have any other tricks, you should just obediently hand over the throne. Don’t worry, for the sake of our many years as husband and wife, I’ll let you live. Heheh..."

With that, she started walking toward Long Ao.

"You venomous bitch!" Long Xi’Er, who was standing nearby, erupted in fury. She drew her longsword and charged at the Queen. Reaching her mother from behind, she raised her sword and thrust it toward her back.

But before her sword could even touch the Queen, she saw her mother raise a hand and slap her across the face. The force of the blow sent Long Xi’Er sprawling to the ground. Half of her face swelled up instantly, and blood trickled from the corner of her mouth.

The Queen turned to Long Xi’Er and sneered, "Bitch. I won’t kill you now. I still plan to marry you off to the Prince of the Yin Country, heheh..."

Without giving Long Xi’Er another glance, she continued advancing on Long Ao.

But just then, Long Ao chuckled again. "You really think you have everything under control? You’re thinking too much!"

With that, he clapped his hands again.

The moment the clap faded, an old man suddenly appeared.

The old man’s hair and beard were completely white, but as he stood there, an oppressive aura instantly filled the air.

The Queen sneered. "What kind of riff-raff have you dragged out now to embarrass yourself? I’ll just kill him."

As she spoke, she moved like a bolt of lightning, appearing before the old man and thrusting her right palm straight for his heart.

But before her palm could connect, the old man casually flicked his right hand. In the next moment, the Queen felt as if she’d been struck by a high-speed train. She was sent flying backward, slamming hard against a wall. Her mouth flew open as she coughed up a spray of blood.

The old man looked down at the heavily injured Queen on the floor and said calmly, "For causing chaos in the palace, you deserve death!"

"Who are you?" the Queen cried out in astonishment, staring at the old man.

From behind her, Long Ao spoke calmly, "The Grand General of the Nation, Murong Jue."

The Queen gasped in shock. "But didn’t he ascend to the heavens long ago?"

Long Ao chuckled. "If you knew he was still alive and well, would you have ever shown your true colors? Enough talk. It’s time for you to go."

He then waved his hand. "Grand General, send her on her way."

Murong Jue nodded and advanced on the Queen.

But the Queen looked at Long Ao and started to laugh. "Long Ao, do you really think he alone can defeat me?"

Long Ao picked up his teacup, took a sip, and said leisurely, "You’re a Tier Two Martial God, correct? But do you know the Grand General’s cultivation level? I’ll tell you: he’s a Tier Three Martial God. With a full tier between you, do you really think you can make any waves against him? You can’t."

He then looked at the Grand General and said coldly, "Send her on her way!"

Murong Jue nodded. His body flickered, and he was already in front of the Queen, bringing his right palm down on her head with ruthless force.

But in the next moment, a dark figure abruptly appeared, blocking the Queen. It raised its right hand and met Murong Jue’s palm strike head-on.

With a deafening BOOM, everyone watched in utter disbelief as the great Grand General of the Nation, Murong Jue, was sent flying backward. He crashed heavily to the ground, coughing up endless mouthfuls of blood.

Everyone’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. The Grand General of the Nation, Murong Jue, was a Tier Three Martial God! He was one of the most distinguished figures in the entire Great Xia Empire, yet today he had been grievously wounded by a single palm strike. Who on earth was this person? How could they be so powerful?

Everyone turned to look and saw a Daoist priest in traditional robes, his hair in a topknot, standing protectively in front of the Queen.

"Who are you?" Long Ao demanded coldly, staring at the priest.

Before he had even finished speaking, the Queen bowed deeply to the priest and said respectfully:

"Wu Xiu pays her respects to Master!"

"’Master? He’s your master!’" Long Ao’s eyes narrowed instantly as he stared at Wu Xiu.

Wu Xiu looked at Long Ao and said smugly, "That’s right. He is my master, the former Sect Leader of Wudang, Daoist Wuchen. Do you know his cultivation level? He’s a Tier Four Martial God. That’s why I said that old fossil Murong Jue couldn’t kill me. Do you believe me now?

Long Ao, do you have any other tricks up your sleeve? If not, you’d better just hand over the throne obediently!"

Long Ao looked at Wu Xiu and suddenly smiled. "It seems you’ve forgotten someone... there’s still Ye Feng."

"Haha..." Before Long Ao could finish, Wu Xiu burst into wild laughter. "You’re still hoping that bastard will come and ruin my plans? You’re dreaming! Let me tell you the truth: he’s currently surrounded by the ten-million-strong army of the twelve-nation coalition. Do you really think he can make it back alive?"

"Father, is it true? Can Ye Feng really not come back?" Long Xi’Er, who had struggled back to her feet, shrieked at Long Ao.

Wu Xiu turned her head to look at Long Xi’Er and chuckled. "Surrounded by an army of ten million, do you really think he could survive?"

Long Xi’Er’s face turned deathly pale. But just then, a clear, hearty voice rang out from outside the great hall:

"Who told you I wasn’t coming back?"

As the voice faded, a young man strode in with his hands clasped behind his back.

Ye Feng had arrived.
