Chapter 466: Give Me the Best Birthday Present

While Yang Xiaofei wasn’t exactly a delicate flower raised in a greenhouse, her life was completely different from that of an ordinary person.

Having always received an elite education, every social circle she moved in was suffused with an air of aristocracy. To put it plainly, she wasn’t very down-to-earth.

“Thank you so much!” she whispered in his ear. “Here’s a little reward for you!”

With that, ignoring that he was still packing, she forcefully turned his face and took the initiative, giving him a very gentle, sweet kiss.

However, as her lips met his, a hint of indignation stirred in Yang Xiaofei’s heart.

‘This guy… he’s spent half the day with me, and all he’s done is hold my hand or hug me a little. Not even a single kiss.’

Ever since Wang Chenning had taken her first kiss, Yang Xiaofei no longer minded being kissed by him.

After all, when he wanted to kiss her, she couldn’t escape anyway.

What was worse, as soon as he kissed her, she never wanted to pull away.

His kisses were like a drug; once she tasted them, she became intoxicated, completely unable to pull herself free.

“Stop messing around!” Wang Chenning said, patting her on the back. “Let me finish packing first, or we’ll both end up falling on the ground.”

“I won’t!” Yang Xiaofei clung to him. “I know you’re strong. Even if I gave you a hard shove from behind, you wouldn’t fall!”

And so, while Wang Chenning packed up their things, Yang Xiaofei clung to him like a little raccoon.

It wasn’t until Wang Chenning finished packing, turned, and pulled her into his arms, teasing her until she was breathless and weak, that Yang Xiaofei finally let go.

After they’d played around for a bit, Wang Chenning took Yang Xiaofei rock climbing.

Outdoor rock climbing was a test of courage and willpower.

A pampered young lady like Yang Xiaofei would normally never take such a risk.

But with Wang Chenning by her side, she wasn’t the least bit afraid of the potential danger. She threw herself into it, experiencing the thrill and joy of rappelling in Nature.

Afterward, Wang Chenning took Yang Xiaofei to a nearby stable, and they went for a ride.

Yang Xiaofei knew how to ride, but she had only ever done so at exclusive riding clubs, never galloping freely across an open field.

Under Wang Chenning’s protection, she truly experienced the exhilarating joy of galloping without restraint.

They rode a single horse together. With Wang Chenning behind her, she could lean back into his embrace, enjoying the feeling of security he provided. Plus, he would tease her from time to time, providing all sorts of different thrills.

“Wang Chenning, can you bring me out to enjoy this again in the future?” Yang Xiaofei asked, tilting her head back to look at him as he brought their horse to a stop on a small hill. “Life suddenly feels so wonderful. You can’t experience this sitting in an office!”

“Of course!” Wang Chenning said, smiling at her. “As long as you have the time, I can bring you here often!”

Seeing that he was just looking at her without making a move, Yang Xiaofei finally couldn’t take it anymore. She pulled his head down and gave him a bold, commanding kiss.

Then she tilted her head and looked at him. “Brother Ning, why don’t we elope?”

“On this horse? And wander to the ends of the earth?”

“Why not!” Yang Xiaofei said, grinning at him. “With you around, I wouldn’t have to worry about a thing. It would be hard to even starve to death!”

The romance and happiness continued into the evening.

After some careful searching by Wang Chenning, the two finally selected a spot to camp for the night.

It was a spot not far from the main tourist campground—safe, but not noisy, and sheltered from the wind and rain.

As soon as Wang Chenning finished setting up the tent, Yang Xiaofei immediately ducked inside, beckoning for him to come in and lie down with her.

The moment Wang Chenning entered, Yang Xiaofei pounced, tackling him to the floor of the tent.

“Brother Ning, I want to be your woman!” she whispered in his ear after a passionate bout of kissing. “Give me the best birthday present.”
