By the third pillar, Lin Fan had to admit that Xiao Mu was right.

Even though it was a slight increase, he could feel the power level of the surrounding sealed items increasing.

They had turned into top tier Rebirth Realm items.

If they were to continue forward like this, there was no doubt that it would reach the Transcendence Realm. So there was no doubt that they were heading towards the core of this area.

It was just that they couldn’t help wondering just how many of these Transcendence Realm sealed items there were.

With the way that it seemed, it felt like there were far more of these Transcendence Realm sealed items that they had expected. They didn’t think that the Dao Sect was this capable, even though they knew the Dao Sect was capable.

But it didn’t seem like they had no time to actually think about all of this.

It was a sudden change, but they felt it right away when the sensation filled the air. It wasn’t something that they could miss even if they wanted to miss it.

After all, the pressure from these Transcendence Realm sealed items wasn’t something that the restriction arrays could fully hold back. Though a part of it was because the Transcendence Realm items were pushing against the restriction arrays with their energy.

The sudden appearance of this pressure in the air wasn’t something that was easy to adapt to, so they actually had to take a minute to get used to the pressure around them before continuing forward.

Looking at the holes in the ground, they could see that the energy concentrated inside was something that was different from the holes that they had seen previously.

It wasn’t that this energy was thicker, it was more of a qualitative change.

This was a kind of energy that was far more concentrated than anything that they had seen along the way.

It was more than enough to show just how the sealed items here were on a completely different level.

But Lin Fan didn’t reach out to the items sealed in these holes right away since he knew that it would be useless to do so. Unless he actually had a way of extorting them, he wouldn’t actually be able to do anything to them.

It didn’t take long for him to find the pillar that controlled these restriction arrays, but he didn’t have the same expression on his face as before as he pressed the token onto the pillar.

That was because the moment that the token came in contact with the pillar, there was this feeling of rejection that came from it. It was as if there was something about this pillar that wasn’t allowing the token to access it.

Lin Fan knitted his brows the moment that he felt this, but he also knew that it wasn’t related to the authority of the token that he normally used to access these things.

Rather, it seemed like it was related to something that was more directly linked to the pillar itself.

He knew that it was related to this pillar since it was a familiar feeling.

Lin Fan had no choice but to look up and look around in different directions, as if he was looking for something specific that he couldn’t see.

When Ye Qing Huan and Xiao Mu saw this, they felt that what he was doing was quite similar.

After a while, Lin Fan said with a sigh, "It just got more complicated."

He didn’t have to explain for them to understand, they already had a guess in mind the moment that they saw the way he looked around himself. This was something that he had done already in front of them, so they knew what he was looking for.

Only it turned out to be even more complicated than they thought.

Before leaving this central area, Lin Fan did make sure to take a close look at all of the Transcendence Realm sealed items that were in the hole. He wanted to see just how much time they had before they would break free of these restriction arrays.

It turned out that they had been worried over nothing.

Even though the energy was building up inside each of these holes, they weren’t anywhere near enough to cause the restriction arrays to shatter yet. From the connection that Lin Fan had made with the pillar, he was able to tell just how long the restriction arrays would be able to last against the building pressure.

At the very least, it wouldn’t happen for at least a few more years.

That was why he wasn’t as rushed as he was previously while looking through the different holes that he encountered.

This time, Lin Fan took some time to pick out the stronger sealed items in the holes.

Since he had time, it wasn’t as if he wasn’t going to extort them for all that they had.

The things that the sealed items had to offer were without a doubt things that were useful to him even if they were items that could only be used once.

As Ye Qing Huan and Xiao Mu watched Lin Fan extorting these sealed items, they couldn’t help shaking their heads with faint smiles.

But at the second pillar that they found, Lin Fan couldn’t help shaking his head as he stared at his token.

Ever since he came in contact with the main pillar, there was this map that had appeared in the token that revealed all of the locations of the pillars. Though it wasn’t an actual map since it didn’t show the exact location, it was more a map that showed just how many pillars there were.

Every time that he connected to one of the pillars, he noticed that there was another mark on the map that lit up.

It seemed like at this rate, Lin Fan would have to light up every single mark on the map if he wanted to access the main pillar.

It wasn’t as if he was afraid of using this time, it was just that it felt like he was being used for labour with how things were turning out.

But in the end, it wasn’t as if he could change anything since this was just how the array had been set up. Lin Fan had no choice but to go along with it and seal off all of the different items that were gathered here.

After a certain point, it didn’t feel like it was worth it to get more of these items that they offered. Especially since most of them didn’t offer anything good anymore.

Even though the first few had offered items that were considered useful, it didn’t seem like every single sealed item had something good. It seemed like only a few of them had anything good and the rest all had a few one use items.

It made sense that they wouldn’t have anything good since they were items that had been sealed here for the longest time. It would have been strange if they would be able to keep those items unless they had special abilities in the first place.

The fact that Lin Fan was able to extort that much in the first place was already quite the haul. Or it could be said that he was lucky enough to find all of those items that had things that he could extort.

So in the end, there really wasn’t much that he could do other than seal off everything as quickly as possible. He wanted to gain the ability to control the array that sealed off the Transcendence Realm items so he could extort them as well.

"It’s finally over." Lin Fan couldn’t help shaking his head and letting out a sigh when he finally pressed the token on the last pillar.

It had taken a while to reach all of these pillars, but they had been able to find them in the end.

The hardest part was actually finding the pillars since the only thing that Lin Fan had been relying on to guide them was a general feeling of where the pillar was. This was a very vague guide to follow, so he had to keep looking in all those different holes.

It wasn’t something that he minded at first, but it really became more and more tedious as time passed. It really wasn’t something that was easy to follow since it was just a vague feeling of what direction it was in.

Now that they had finished gathering all of these marks, it was finally time to head back to the main area.

Only the moment that they arrived, Lin Fan found that there was something different about this place.

Ye Qing Huan and Xiao Mu seemed like they were still affected by the pressure that was coming from the holes, but it didn’t seem like Lin Fan was feeling everything. It felt like there was something that was blocking all of this for him.

He didn’t know what it was that was blocking this for him, but he did have a guess.

When he pulled out the token, he could easily see the faint glow that was around it. It seemed like there was something that was being activated with the way that this glow surrounded the token.

"The one that manages this place should be protected, so is that what’s happening?"

But in the first place, it wasn’t as if the pressure that came from this place was enough to affect him.
