Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth
Chapter 263 - 265: War, War
Chapter 263: Chapter 265: War, War
’These enemies are really tough to deal with!’
Far behind the front lines of the Racial Alliance Army, Wulumu stood frowning as he watched the Star Realm Battleships locked in a standoff with his forces.
The figure that had suddenly appeared and sent Lamart’s Interstellar Battleship flying was one of his avatars.
This was an Ability he gained after becoming a Morning Star, allowing him to separate the Magical Beast Bloodlines he had previously fused with his body to create avatars.
The Power of these avatars was one Realm lower than his own.
Yet even at one Realm lower, these avatars still possessed the reaction Speed and observational Abilities of the Morning Star Level, capable of delivering a crushing blow to any ordinary Level 3 Powerhouse.
In other words, each of the avatars Wulumu created was equivalent to a powerhouse at the Level 3 Limit.
And this was merely one of the weaker techniques among the many Wulumu had gained since becoming a Morning Star.
Just as the avatars could be separated from his body, they could also be merged back together.
When three avatars gathered, their fused form would possess Power on the same level as his own.
Though it would only be at the initial stage of that level, its Power was absolutely real.
It could inflict a devastating blow on any powerhouse below that level.
Before becoming a Morning Star, Wulumu had fused a total of eleven Magical Beast Bloodlines into his body.
This meant he could create three avatars with Power equivalent to his own.
This was also why Wulumu had dared to set traps for the other two before.
The other two possessed an Ability similar to Wulumu’s.
They could also separate the Magical Beast Bloodlines within their bodies to create avatars, as well as merge those avatars to form new, more powerful ones.
It was precisely because of these avatars that the three of them were always at a stalemate in their attempts to backstab one another.
Right now, Wulumu was very dissatisfied with the Power his avatar had displayed.
According to his original calculations, his avatar should have been able to obliterate the special device these foreign enemies relied upon with a single punch.
But now, his avatar’s surprise attack—a full-power punch—had merely sent the special device flying.
This left Wulumu deeply dissatisfied. It also made him realize that the Wizards invading the Cosmic Sea World this time were different from the foreign enemies who had invaded in the past.
This time, if they weren’t careful, all the races within the Cosmic Sea World truly faced the risk of annihilation.
And that was a risk he absolutely could not allow to become reality.
"You have your special devices, but so do we. Pass down the order! Bring out the weapons we previously captured, along with their imitations, to counter their special devices."
To prevent that risk from becoming a reality, Wulumu made his decision after a moment of thought.
Beside him, Wulumu’s Personal Guard nodded and immediately flew off.
Soon, a series of cannon-like devices were dragged into position with ropes made of beast hide.
’How did this world get its hands on Magic Energy Giant Cannons?!’
While dodging the attacks from Wulumu’s avatar, Quint used the Witchcraft Array on his Interstellar Battleship to monitor the Racial Alliance Army’s situation.
When he saw what looked like cannons being dragged into place, he immediately had the Witch Brain Core magnify the image.
Once magnified, Quint was utterly dumbfounded. Magic Energy Giant Cannons!
Although this type of Magic Energy Giant Cannon was an obsolete model from the Wizard World, it was still classified as a large-scale offensive War Witchcraft Artifact.
The presence of such large-scale War Weapons would determine the difficulty of the academy’s conquest of this world.
The fact that the races of this world had suddenly deployed Magic Energy Giant Cannons was terrible news for the academy.
After Quint spotted the Magic Energy Giant Cannons, the other Wizards also saw them via the Witchcraft Arrays on their Star Realm Battleships.
Their expressions instantly became a sight to behold—some turned ashen, others pale, some dark with rage, and others red with fury.
"Impossible! How can there be Magic Energy Giant Cannons in this world?!"
Farrete sat inside his Star Realm Battleship, staring in astonishment at the Magic Energy Giant Cannons being deployed by the Racial Alliance Army.
This special type of War Witchcraft Artifact was strictly forbidden from being sold by the Wizard World. Even many races that had submitted to the Wizard Civilization were not qualified to obtain such items from the Wizards.
The Witchcraft Arrays inscribed upon this special War Witchcraft Artifact, and the Demon Patterns that formed them, were all top secrets within the Wizard World.
Logically, under no circumstances should Magic Energy Giant Cannons appear in this world that had only recently been promoted to a Level 5 World.
And yet, the Racial Alliance Army of this world had just effortlessly rolled out sixteen Magic Energy Giant Cannons.
Although these sixteen Magic Energy Giant Cannons were all obsolete models, this was by no means a good sign for the Wizards.
’If Magic Energy Giant Cannons are already in this world, what else might these races have?’
’Star Realm Battleships? War Mother Ships? Or even a Red Sun Throne?’
"All units, activate your War Witchcraft Artifacts! We must destroy their Magic Energy Giant Cannons in a single, decisive strike."
As the captain of the 3rd Squadron of the Second Expeditionary Corps, Farrete immediately began issuing orders.
The squadron members beside him began activating their own War Witchcraft Artifacts, preparing to obliterate the Magic Energy Giant Cannons in a single volley.
If their volley failed to destroy them, then the Magic Energy Beams unleashed by those cannons would strike their ships instead.
At this point, the Wizards were no longer greedy for the pure Magical Beast Souls of the Racial Alliance Army members.
Now, the Wizards had only one thought in their minds: eliminate the Racial Alliance Army.
When their own lives were at stake, they knew what the priority was.
As one Battlefield Witchcraft Artifact after another began to activate, the Magic Power around the Star Realm Battleships started to flow wildly, soon forming a storm of Magic Power around them.
And as Farrete and his men began activating their War Witchcraft Artifacts, the Racial Alliance Army on the ground was not idle; they too were activating the Magic Energy Giant Cannons.
A moment later, following commands to "Fire!" from both Farrete and Wulumu’s Personal Guard, the area between the Star Realm Battleships and the Racial Alliance Army instantly became a maelstrom of Magic Power.
All kinds of Witchcraft spells shot forth from the Star Realm Battleships, hurtling toward the Magic Energy Giant Cannons controlled by the Racial Alliance Army.
The Magic Energy Giant Cannons, now fully charged, fired volley after volley of Magic Energy Beams, attempting to shoot the Interstellar Battleships out of the sky.
The two torrents of Power collided at incredible Speed, instantly setting off a chain reaction.
All sorts of Elements, mixed with raw Magic Power, turned the area between the Racial Alliance Army and the Star Realm Battleships into a chaotic, swirling mess.
Volatile reactions from conflicting Elements erupted intermittently.
"Fire again!" Farrete commanded. Instantly, dozens more Witchcraft spells were unleashed from the Interstellar Battleships, speeding directly toward the Racial Alliance Army.
