Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth

Chapter 60: Creation Ladder? Lord of Elements?

Chapter 60: Chapter 60: Creation Ladder? Lord of Elements?

"Not bad!" As a flash of light appeared, Radak’s figure materialized in front of Andre.

Andre sighed in relief when he saw Radak appear before him.

"Teacher!" Andre tried to stand up, but a wave of weakness made it impossible.

"You’re simply exhausted."

Radak looked at Andre’s current state and shook his head helplessly.

"High Tier Potions usually take several days to brew. There’s no need to rush for efficiency like you did."

As Radak chided Andre, he waved his Magic Staff and cast a spell of Witchcraft.

"Breath of Light!" As streams of white light enveloped Andre, his Spirit began to recover rapidly.

A moment later, aside from a bit of hunger, Andre felt nothing else wrong with his body.

"Normally, the higher the tier of the Potion, the longer it takes to create. The standard creation time for a Blood Rage Potion is usually one week."

"Do you know why it takes so long?"

Radak pulled the test tube from the earthen stand, sniffed it, and asked Andre, simultaneously beginning his lecture.

"For safety!" Andre answered immediately, without even thinking.

"Yes, for safety. But if you knew that, why did you insist on creating this Potion within two days?"

Radak looked at Andre in confusion. Andre didn’t lack resources. As for knowledge, every book in the Wizard Inheritance Hall—along with other knowledge-bearing artifacts like bone fragments and jade tablets from other worlds—was his to study.

And yet, it was as if something was chasing Andre, constantly forcing him to accelerate.

"Teacher, I’ve already conceived the Ladder of Truth I want to build. I’ve looked into it, and it seems no one in the Wizard World has ever walked this path before. So, I need a huge amount of materials for my experiments!"

Andre looked at Radak and explained his reasoning.

"A path no one has walked before? What path is that?"

A worried expression immediately appeared on Radak’s face when he heard Andre’s words.

For hundreds of millions of years in the Wizard World, new Ladders of Truth had been conceived every year, every month, even every day, every minute, every second.

Under these circumstances, for Andre to claim he would walk a path no one had ever trod before...

It would have been strange if Radak wasn’t worried.

"I plan to fuse Demon Pattern Study with my Talent."

Andre hesitated for a moment before looking at Radak and finally revealing his idea for the Ladder of Truth.

"Demon Pattern Study and Thunder Element Talent."

Hearing this, Radak tilted his head, not quite understanding what Andre was saying.

"Teacher, the foundation of Demon Pattern Study is composed of the Four Great Elements. I want to combine the Four Great Elements with the Thunder Element to form my own Ladder of Truth."

When Andre explained his idea, the corner of Radak’s mouth twitched violently.

He never expected Andre’s ambition to be so vast that he would attempt one of the most difficult things in the Wizard World right from the start.

Genesis!!!

The Four Great Elements—earth, wind, water, and fire—gathered together. Was that not genesis?

Many Wizards, Divine Spirits, and Demons would gather the Four Great Elements and mix them together to create worlds.

But this was a domain only touched by Level 4 Great Wizards, Morning Star Great Wizards, and other Great Wizards of that caliber or higher.

But Andre wasn’t even an Official Wizard, and yet he wanted to create his own world. ’How is that possible?’

A complex expression filled Radak’s eyes.

For a moment, Radak didn’t know whether to call Andre hopelessly ambitious or daringly bold.

"Alright. First, explain your whole idea. I’ll see if I can help you refine it."

Radak watched Andre for a long while, the look in his eyes shifting constantly.

Finally, Radak took a deep breath. He steadied his emotions and decided to hear Andre’s idea out.

"Teacher, my concept has two parts!"

Andre moved to Radak’s side, took out a sheet of Curse Paper with a brush and ink, and began to sketch out his idea.

"In my vision, if I can combine the five great elements to form the Ladder of Truth, then the Witchcraft I cast will pass through it and transform into composite Witchcraft. Both its Attack Power and Defense Power will be greatly enhanced."

"Though it will consume more Magic Power, its advantages over ordinary Witchcraft are still quite obvious."

"Furthermore, of those five, the Four Great Elements—earth, wind, water, and fire—are the primordial forms of other Elements. Many Elements evolved from these four, such as the Ice Element, or the Magma Element, which is formed by the fusion of earth and fire."

"If I can successfully build the Ladder of Truth I’ve conceived, then as I advance, I should be able to master the other Elements as well."

Andre laid out his idea for Radak.

But the more Radak listened, the more shocked he became. From what Andre was saying, it seemed he didn’t intend to perform genesis, but was instead pursuing a special status—a status known as the Lord of Elements.

The Lord of Elements also had several other names, each one terrifying.

Pillar of Elements, Cornerstone of the World, Origin of All Things, Source of Truth.

This showed just how important this status was within the Vast Star Realm.

For this very reason, powerful entities from many worlds coveted this status, but without exception, none had ever succeeded.

And Andre wasn’t even an Official Wizard. ’How could he possibly construct such a monstrous Ladder of Truth?’

"Teacher, what do you think of my idea?"

After speaking for a while longer, Andre looked at Radak.

He wanted to hear some advice from Radak.

But when Radak heard him, his expression grew especially complex.

For a moment, he didn’t know what to say to Andre. Telling him he couldn’t do it would just crush his enthusiasm.

The very fact that Andre could conceive of such a Ladder of Truth on his first try was a testament to his Talent.

Anyone else would have found it basically impossible.

But Andre had conceived his Ladder of Truth based on his knowledge and his own Talent, so it was indeed possible he could succeed in turning his vision into reality. The odds of success, however, were another matter entirely.

"Your idea is a good one, but don’t you think it’s a bit... too broad? The problem of combining just the Four Great Elements is not something you can solve at your current level."
