God of Failure

Kai Mercer was climbing out a bathroom window to dodge four months of rent when a divine system grabbed the wrong guy.

Syraphim was built for the Holy Champion, a paladin who has never sinned. Instead, she got a con man in taco underwear, dropped into a fantasy world where heretics get stabbed on sight.

The deal: earn 100 true believers in one year, or be erased from existence. Not killed. Erased. Like he never lived.

There's one problem. Every spell Kai casts misses. Every con he runs falls apart.

And every time he fails, someone gets saved.

A silver-haired noble slave he bought with rocks. A holy knight whose sword glows every time he lies. A sixty-foot monster who thinks he's her favorite person.

He isn't a hero. He isn't even a good man.

But he might be the God of Failure.
